never before were revealed. We need God to give us wisdom and understanding. In the Bible
God prophesized that He would unseal the Bible at the end of time. God is giving us end time
information, not by adding to the Bible, but rather by opening our spiritual eyes to the truths
that had been sealed up by God and are now being revealed.

This paper summarizes these new end time revelations. Many Biblical references are given.
You are urged to check what is presented here with the Bible to see if it is true. This paper
covers the following topics:

times that God has given us new knowledge and truth about His judgment and salvation. The
Bible tells us to search the scriptures daily, and to be ready to let God correct our interpretation
and understanding.

NOTHING Is More Important
From may21-2011.com
1. May 21, 2011

We are at a time like no other in the earth's history. Most people realize that the world will eventually
come to an end. In particular, Christians believe that Christ will return to gather up (rapture) those who
have been saved from hell. While there have been many false predictions of the world’s end, and
current predictions about the year 2012, until recently no one could know when the world will end.

However, at this time in history God has opened information that He had previously sealed up in the
Bible. God is revealing Biblical truths that could never be known before. Only recently, through careful
study of the Bible, we now know the precise timeline of the world’s history, from the creation year of
11,013 BC to Christ's return on May 21, 2011 to the final destruction of the world on October 21, 2011.

Many will immediately dismiss this and say this isn't what they were taught, or this differs from their
own understanding, or the Bible tells us that we can't know the day and the hour. But you are strongly
encouraged to read this paper with an open mind and see if what is written is true. How can we
determine if any Biblical teaching is true? God commands that we are to test all teachings against
God's Word, the Bible.

IMPORTANT: We cannot approach the Bible with preconceived ideas. We should not filter
what we read in the Bible against our previous beliefs. We need to let God speak to us
and reveal His truth to us.

We should never rely on our current understanding or what we have been taught in the past. We need
to approach the Bible with a willingness to humbly accept what God is teaching, even if we don’t like
the teachings or if it makes us uncomfortable. We need to continue searching the Bible to seek truth.

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which
testify of me. (John 5:39)

We are near the end of the 23 year period of time in the history of the world that Jesus called The
Great Tribulation. How do we know this? In these latter days God is revealing truth from the Bible and
the Bible alone that had been sealed up by God until the end times.

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in
the last time. (1 Peter 1:5)

The warning God has given us of His return on May 21, 2011 is not speculation, it is not from
someone's dream or vision, it is not coming from a cult, it isn't an idea someone came up with, it isn’t
someone’s own interpretation. Rather, in these final days, God is revealing end time truth from the
Bible using the Bible to interpret itself. During this Great Tribulation period, God is preparing the world
for judgment. However, in His mercy He is also saving a great multitude of people; this is the period of
time the Bible refers to as the Latter Rain and the final harvest.

-1- may21-2011.com
While this may be the first time you’re hearing about Judgment Day being May 21, 2011, there are
many people worldwide who are warning others about this date. In recent years God has been using
numerous individuals to warn the world through various means including radio broadcasts, the
internet, and publications. In fact, a worldwide radio ministry not associated with any church or
denomination is broadcasting these end time warnings and Biblical teachings around the world in over
60 languages, including all of the major languages as well as many minor languages. God saves through
His Word, and during this final harvest He is using individuals, not church ministries, to warn the world
of His return.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come. (Matthew 24:14)

IMPORTANT: Do not dismiss these teachings because it isn’t what you’ve been taught in
the past. Let God speak to you -- May 21, 2011 is quickly approaching.

This paper will show, from the Bible, that these are the last days of the world’s existence. God is giving
us warning so that we can prepare for His return and warn others. By God’s grace, we now know the
precise timeline of the history of the world, and God has given us many proofs to assure us that the day
of May 21, 2011 is accurate. This paper will present an overview of the timeline and the proofs, and it
will point out, from the Bible, corrections to previously held beliefs about faith, salvation, hell, eternal
damnation, and end time events. Through careful study of His Word, the Bible, God has given us these
end time revelations.

PLEASE, read this paper with an open mind and see if God leads you to search for understanding and
truth.
Give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall
never fall. (2 Peter 1:10b)

Christ is coming on May 21, 2011. This cannot be ignored. It is not business as usual. Are you ready?
PLEASE, check out these teachings with the Bible, test them against the Bible to see if they are faithful
to God's Word, pray to God for truth and understanding, pray to God for mercy and salvation, and pray
that God might use you to warn the world that He is coming soon, because...

NOTHING Is More Important!!!

2. Are You Ready?

The Great Tribulation is a very unique time in the history of the world, a time like no other. Through careful
study of the Bible we now know that The Great Tribulation began on May 21, 1988 and will end on May 21,
2011. It is a period of 23 years which turns out to be exactly 8,400 days.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time,
no, nor ever shall be. (Matthew 24:21)

The Great Tribulation is divided into two parts, the first being 2,300 days and the second being 6,100 days.
During The Great Tribulation God has been preparing the world for judgment, but during these final 6,100 days,

-2- may21-2011.com
God is saving many people. This 6,100 day period is the Latter Rain resulting in the final harvest of those who
are being saved. The rain refers to God’s Word, and His Word is being spread worldwide to be applied to the
hearts of those who God is saving.

Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17)

This is the day of salvation when God is saving many people from all nations throughout the world like never
before in the earth's history.

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and
kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with
white robes, and palms in their hands. (Revelation 7:9)

These are they that came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them
white in the blood of the Lamb. (Revelation 7:14b)

You should never assume that you are a saved believer, that is, one of God's chosen people. You cannot rely on
your church membership, or your baptism, or your confession of faith, or that you accepted Christ, or that you
have a free will to choose Christ, or that you prayed a certain prayer, or that you’ve helped the poor, or that
you’ve done good works, or that you’ve lived a clean, moral life. The following ominous words of Christ,
especially as the end of time draws near, should be a wakeup call to everyone, whether you consider yourself to
be a Christian or not:

For many are called, but few are chosen. (Matthew 22:14)

To be called is to be under the hearing of the Gospel, and to be chosen means to be elected by God for salvation.
Over 2 billion of the almost 7 billion people in the world profess to be Christians, and many others have some
familiarity with God's Word, but God tells us that only a remnant, a relatively small number of people, will
receive the inheritance of eternal life in heaven with God.

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
(Romans 11:5)

Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to
enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
(Luke 13:23-24)

Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew
7:21a)

The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. (Jeremiah 8:20)

But it is not hopeless. This is the day of salvation. God tells us to seek Him and to call upon Him. How do we
seek God? By reading the Bible and studying teachings that are true to the Bible. The Bible is God's Word, it is
the only authority. How do we call upon Him? God commands that we are to pray to God asking for truth and
understanding and to pray for salvation.

Seek the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near. (Isaiah 55:6)

Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought (brought on) his judgment; seek
righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger.
(Zephaniah 2:3)

-3- may21-2011.com
3. Does God Warn?

How can we know the day and the hour of Christ's return? Doesn’t God tell us that no one can know the day and
hour of His return? From the Bible we can see that God warned Noah 120 years in advance of the worldwide
flood. Noah followed God's instructions and built a huge ark over three stories tall and 450 feet (135 meters)
long for his family and pairs of all land dwelling animals.

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark
to the saving of his house. (Hebrews 11:7a)

After the ark was built, God told Noah that he had seven days to get into the safety of the ark, warning him of
the imminent danger of worldwide destruction.

Yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every
living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. And Noah did
according unto all that the Lord commanded him. (Genesis 7:4-5)

Noah was warned, and Noah and his family were the only people spared from the destruction of the flood.
Millions of people were destroyed by God's wrath because of their sinful condition and rebellion against God,
and only the eight people and the animals in the ark, and the sea creatures, were preserved from destruction.

And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness,
bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly. (2 Peter 2:5)

Later on in this paper we will see how the worldwide destruction from the flood of Noah’s day directly ties to the
Day of Judgment on May 21, 2011.

In addition to warning Noah, God warned Abraham and his nephew Lot that Sodom and Gomorrah would be
destroyed, God through Moses warned the Egyptian Pharaoh of the coming plagues, God used the prophet
Jeremiah to warn the Israelites living in Judea that Jerusalem would be destroyed by the Babylonians, and God
through His prophet Jonah warned the Ninevites that their city was going to be destroyed in forty days. In the
case of the Ninevites, God spared Ninevah which gives us hope that we also might be saved from God’s wrath.

By God's mercy and compassion for the world He has given us the date of His return so that we
may prepare for His return on May 21, 2011 and warn the world of Judgment Day.

God has not changed. Just as He has given warnings through His prophets in the past, He is giving us warning of
His return through His Word, the Holy Bible.

Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

4. A Thief in the Night?

But didn't Jesus say that He would come as a thief in the night? Indeed He has!

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass
away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the
works that are therein shall be burned up. (2 Peter 3:10)

-4- may21-2011.com
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. (1
Thessalonians 5:2)

Prior to these end times, God did not want His people to be distracted by speculating about when He will return,
their mission was to spread the Gospel message throughout the world. But now that God removed the seals of
the Bible and is opening our spiritual eyes, we can prepare for His return. The frightening words in 1
Thessalonians 5 warn that destruction will come to those who are not listening to the Bible and still believe that
Christ will come as a thief in the night.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail
upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:4)

But God goes on to say that He won't come as a thief in the night for those who are children of the light.

But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the
children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore
let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. (1 Thessalonians 5:4-6)

The children of light are those who God is saving from destruction. Jesus is the light of the world who shines
through the darkness of sin.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall
not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12)

Why does Jesus use the term “thief”? A thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. When Christ comes on May 21,
2011 He will rob the unsaved from their earthly life; the unsaved will be destroyed on or before October 21,
2011. Even though there are hardships and sin, people love this world and have plans for their families,
education, careers, travel, retirement, etc. All of that will be taken away on Judgment Day. However, for those
who Christ has saved, He will come on May 21, 2011 to give them eternal life co-reigning with Christ in heaven.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (Jesus) am come that they
might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good
shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. (John 10:10-11)

God is telling us to watch. How do we watch? By reading the Bible and studying teachings that
are faithful to the Bible.

We need to let go of our preconceived ideas and past understanding and be open to what God is revealing
during these last days. If we don’t heed God’s warnings, He will come unexpectedly as a thief does. If someone
knew a thief was coming to break into their house, they would be watching for the thief.

If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I
will come upon you. (Revelation 3:3)

But know this, that if the goodman (head) of the house had known in what watch the thief
would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
(Matthew 24:43)

In addition to watching, we are also to be sober which means to be alert. Spiritually, it means to watch and to
pray so that God will not come as a thief to those who are children of the light.

-5- may21-2011.com
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. (1 Peter 4:7)

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth. (Revelation 16:15a)

And what I say unto you I say unto all, watch. (Mark 13:37)

By watching, that is, by carefully reading and studying the Bible; by making sure whatever we’re being taught is
true to the Bible; by comparing Scripture with Scripture; by letting the Bible instruct us and correct past incorrect
interpretations; and by praying to God for wisdom and understanding of what He is revealing, we can know and
be certain that Christ is returning on May 21, 2011.

5. The Seals

The Bible was completed about 1,900 years ago and has not changed, so how can it be that God can warn us
through the Bible, and the Bible alone, of the day of His return? Why are these end time revelations first being
revealed in our day? Wouldn't faithful Bible students have known about May 21, 2011 years ago? The answer to
these questions can be found in the Bible! God has sealed end time information in the Bible. Since God is
always in charge, it was His intention to not reveal end time information until very recently.

God is telling us in the book of Daniel that the end time vision is sealed until the end. The “book” is a reference
to the entire Bible, both the Old Testament and the New Testament. When God unsealed the Bible, the
knowledge and understanding of end time events became known to those who are watching.

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many
shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. (Daniel 12:4)

And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
(Daniel 12:8-9)

The book that was sealed up is the Bible. In Romans God speaks of the revelations being manifest (made known)
to all nations.

Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus
Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.
But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the
commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith.
(Romans 16:25-26)

So when were the seals broken? We now know that the end time revelations were unsealed just prior to the
beginning of the 23 year Great Tribulation which began on May 21, 1988. God tells about the opening of the
seven seals in the book of Revelation. After lifting the seals, God began opening our spiritual eyes so that we can
know information about the end times. When the seventh seal was broken, it began the first part of The Great
Tribulation which is spiritually represented as the space of about a half hour (a part of the whole). The first part
of The Great Tribulation was a 2,300 day period when virtually no one was saved. We know this because there
was silence in heaven meaning there was no joy in heaven over sinners being saved.
And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half
an hour. (Revelation 8:1)

I (Jesus) say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth. (Luke
15:7a)

-6- may21-2011.com
The 2,300 day period of silence is spoken of in the book of Daniel. During the first part of The Great Tribulation
God began preparing the world for judgment. It is the time God began separating the wheat from the tares
(weeds) meaning He is separating His chosen people from the unsaved.

Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake,
How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation,
to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said unto me, Unto
two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. (Daniel 8:13-14)

But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let
both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather
ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into
my barn. (Matthew 13:29-30)

By God’s mercy, after the first 2,300 day period of silence, God began saving a great multitude of people during
the second part of The Great Tribulation, a period of 6,100 days referred to as the Latter Rain which began on
September 7, 1994 and will end on May 21, 2011. We are currently near the end of this final harvest. Many
people from around the world who had never previously heard the Gospel are included with those who are
being saved during this Latter Rain period.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman (farmer)
waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the
early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish (make firm) your hearts: for the coming of the
Lord draweth nigh. (James 5:7-8)

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and
kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with
white robes, and palms in their hands. (Revelation 7:9)

6. The Word

What if you heard that Jesus Christ Himself was coming to your town to speak? If that was the case, many
people would go to see Him and hear what Almighty God had to say. We would hang on every word knowing
that infinite God, the creator of the universe, was speaking directly to us.

That is exactly what God is doing in the Bible, God is speaking directly to us. Every word in the Bible is from the
mouth of God. God identifies Himself with the Bible. Jesus is God, Jesus is the Word.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)

The entire Bible, both the Old Testament and the New Testament, is the law of God and each word
in the Bible is as authoritative as Jesus Christ Himself.

The Bible was dictated by God, and every word and every number in the Bible carries spiritual significance.
Everything God wrote in the Bible has a purpose. The words of the Bible are from the very lips of God.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they
were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2 Peter 1:21)

-7- may21-2011.com
In the book of Jeremiah God illustrated how the Bible was written. God spoke through the prophets who then
recorded the words of God.

Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah
all the words of the Lord, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book. (Jeremiah 36:4)

This is telling us that the book of John wasn't written by John, or the books of Luke and Acts weren't written by
Luke, or the apostles of Paul weren't written by Paul, etc. Rather, they were written by Holy God Himself. God
used people to write down the words, but these aren’t the words of men, rather the Bible is God speaking
directly to us.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16)

The word “inspiration” in this verse was translated from the original Greek word that means “God breathed”.
The Bible is as close as we can get to God, it is the only way God speaks to us today. The Bible contains God's
“instruction in righteousness” meaning that only through His Word can we find how to be right with God in order
to have a relationship where God gives the gift of salvation.

Because the words in the Bible are from God, we are to approach the Bible with fear and
trembling.

To approach the Bible with fear and trembling means that we need to diligently study the Word of God; we need
to make certain that our understanding of the Bible is accurate; we need to be willing to correct our past beliefs
as we find new truths in the Bible; and we must check out any Biblical teachings we encounter to be sure that it
is true and faithful to God’s Word. To fear God is to give reverence to Him and to have a strong desire to do His
will; we are to be fearful of not obeying His Word and His commandments.

Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Ecclesiastes 12:13b)

Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he
hath done for you. (1 Samuel 12:24)

Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both
to will and to do of his good pleasure. (Philippians 2:12b-13)

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may
serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews
12:28-29)

Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come:
and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
(Revelation 14:7)

VERY IMPORTANT: Anyone who follows a doctrine that is not completely faithful to the Bible is
effectively in rebellion against God.

Those whose doctrines and beliefs are not true to the Bible are saying that they know better than Almighty God;
they are insisting that their wisdom is greater than the wisdom of God. To fear God is to fear His wrath for

-8- may21-2011.com
following any false teaching. We need to give God all of the glory and be true to His Word. Any gospel that is
not completely faithful to the Bible is a false gospel, and those following a false gospel are not serving the God of
the Bible.

Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more. Go and
cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.
(Judges 10:13-14)

7. The Bible Alone

Both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are equally important, together they are God’s only way of
speaking to us today. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew and most of the New Testament was written in
Greek.

God has preserved the Bible through the ages, so when we read the Bible we need to make sure
we are studying a version that is faithful to copies of the original Hebrew and Greek. The King
James version has been found to be a very reliable translation, that is why the Biblical quotations
in this paper are from the King James Bible.

While the King James version contains some old English words and phrases not used today, other English
translations, in an attempt to be readable, have distorted original meanings and therefore cannot be trusted as
God's authoritative Word. Therefore, the King James Bible is highly recommended for Bible study. We want to
read God’s message as spoken by God through the prophets, not an interpretation by man.

Furthermore, we are not to add or subtract words from the Bible. If a translation attempts to add meaning or
make modifications to try to fit with preconceived ideas of what God is conveying, it violates God’s command.

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man
shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away
his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in
this book. (Revelation 22:18-19)

It is a wonderful blessing from God that no one can add or subtract from His Word. This means
that we can disregard anyone who claims to have a dream or vision from God or anyone who
claims that God spoke directly to them.

Before the Bible was completed about 1,900 years ago, God spoke to His prophets either directly or through
dreams, visions and tongues. However, God no longer breaks the supernatural barrier. He speaks to us solely
through the Bible.

Prior to the Bible being completed, people had to wait to see if someone’s prophesy came true in order to know
whether or not the prophesy came from God. Because we have the completed Bible, and it is the only way God
is speaking to us, we know that everything God wants to tell us can be found through careful study of the Bible.
We can ignore any prophesies, dreams, visions, speaking in tongues, etc. because we know those messages
aren’t from God. God is not adding to His prophesies. The Bible is our only authority. This is a tremendous
blessing; we have only one source of truth, the Bible.

-9- may21-2011.com
But if God isn’t adding or subtracting from His Word and He speaks to us only through the Bible, then how is He
able to reveal end time revelations? How come for two thousand years nobody, no matter how diligently they
studied the Bible, was able to understand these end time revelations until very recently?

These questions have two answers. First of all, God deliberately wrote the Bible in a complex and confusing way
making it very difficult to discern truth. By doing this, God has hidden end time revelations in the Bible. God’s
plan was to hide many truths about time and judgment so that they would not be revealed to mankind until it
was near the end of time. Someone who is wise in God’s eyes is a saved person, that is, a person whose sins
have been pardoned and who will spend eternity with God.

Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth
(recognizes) both time and judgment. (Ecclesiastes 8:5)

Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
(Amos 3:7)

Secondly, God has to open our “spiritual eyes” so that we can find truth. We see with our physical eyes, but
spiritually we are blind unless God opens our spiritual eyes so we can understand what we are reading from the
Bible. Most people will not “see” truth and won’t understand the end time revelations that have been unsealed.
God has to apply His Word to our hearts, that is the only way we can come to truth and understanding.

That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand.
(Mark 4:12a)

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom
and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that
ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance
in the saints. (Ephesians 1:17-18)

In our day, because the seals have been lifted, God is pouring out spiritual truths from the Bible
that never before were understood. We should be reading the Bible and praying to God to open
our spiritual eyes so that he can reveal and apply His truth to our lives.

We have spent a lot of time talking about the authority of the Bible because this is a foundational principle. The
Bible is the only source of truth. Are you studying the Bible? Do you believe that the words of the Bible, in the
original languages, are from the mouth of God and not man? Are you fearful that you might have beliefs that
are contrary to what the Bible is teaching? Do you pray to God that He might open your spiritual eyes for truth
and understanding? Do you check beliefs you have and doctrines that you’ve been taught against the Bible? Are
you willing to correct your past beliefs as God reveals truth through the Bible?

VERY IMPORTANT: The Bible is from the very lips of God. It is the only way God is speaking to us
today. It is the only authority, it is the only source of truth. Any doctrine that does not harmonize
with the Bible, and the Bible alone, is a false doctrine.

We must listen to the teachings of the Bible with reverence and in humbleness. We should be trembling before
His Word and have the fear of God so that we don’t believe and teach anything contrary to the Bible. Only those
who God has saved have the peace of God that is beyond understanding, and the true believers fear and tremble
before His Word. The unsaved do not have the fear that they might be following a false gospel.

And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. (Romans
3:17-18)

8. Interpretation

Did you ever wonder, how can there be one Bible and yet there are dozens of mainstream Christian religions and
hundreds and hundreds of various churches and denominations, many with similar teachings but each having
their own unique interpretation of portions of the Bible? Catholics do not agree with Baptists who don’t agree
with Methodists who don’t agree with Presbyterians who don’t agree with Lutherans who don’t agree with the
Reformed who don’t agree with the Assembly of God who don’t agree with non-denominational churches, etc.
But if you'd ask any church member, they would say that their church has the truth and the correct
interpretation. How can each church denomination say that they have the truth and that the other
denominations aren’t accurately interpreting the Bible?

We know that the Bible is from the very lips of God, the creator of the universe. The Bible is the final authority,
there can only be one truth. But because God wrote the Bible in a complex and confusing way, it is very easy to
come to different interpretations. It is very easy to pick out verses that reaffirm whatever someone is teaching.
Furthermore, when churches and individuals formulate their beliefs, then as they study the Bible they filter what
they are reading against their preconceived, established beliefs.

So how can we know how to interpret the Bible? The answer comes from the Bible! The Bible is its own
interpreter; it is its own dictionary.

The Bible teaches that we are to compare spiritual things with spiritual. That means that any
conclusion that we might draw from reading a passage of the Bible must harmonize with
everything else in the Bible, otherwise it is not God’s truth.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might
know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words
which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things
with spiritual. (1 Corinthians 2:12-13)

Everything that God is teaching us comes from the Bible and the Bible alone. We must not interject our own
logic or prior beliefs to draw conclusions. We must validate any teachings, including the teachings presented in
this paper, with the Bible to see if is God’s truth.

The Bible is the only authority, it is as authoritative as God Himself. The Bible is its own
interpreter, it is not open to private interpretation.

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. (2 Peter
1:20)

At the surface it might appear that the Bible has contradictions. We might say that the contradictions were
caused by different authors or that scribal errors occurred along the way. In doing so, we undermine the
authority of the Bible. God has preserved the Bible over the centuries, and God is perfect and does not
contradict Himself. If we find an apparent contradiction it means that we haven’t come to truth and we need to
continue to study the Bible and pray for understanding. We need to continue comparing Scripture with Scripture
until God opens our spiritual eyes and we're able to resolve the perceived contradiction. The Bible is its own
interpreter.

Finally, if we believe we’ve reached a conclusion, but then at another time find verses that don’t harmonize with
our previous conclusion, we then need to correct our belief. The Bible instructs us to be willing to correct
previous understanding as we continually strive to let God increase our understanding of His Word.

- 11 - may21-2011.com
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16)

When was the last time you heard a pastor, priest or other church authority correct a past teaching? Churches
are steadfastly holding onto their beliefs and doctrines because that is what differentiates them from other
churches and denominations. Especially in our day, as God is pouring out information from the Bible, the
churches are rigidly holding onto their past doctrines. Some churches have doctrines that go back hundreds of
years and have not changed. They are not correcting their creeds and doctrines even though God has opened
the seals of the Bible. The churches are in spiritual blindness. When the Bible appears to disagree with their
theological position, the Biblical citation is disregarded or modified in their thinking so that it agrees with their
doctrines.

VERY IMPORTANT: The Bible is a spiritual Book. It is from the lips of Holy God and therefore does
not have contradictions. We need to compare Scripture with Scripture, and need God to open our
spiritual eyes, in order to arrive at truth. No verse can stand alone; any interpretation we might
have must harmonize with the rest of the Bible and the Bible alone, otherwise it is not a correct
interpretation.

It is human nature for us to believe what we want to believe and filter out whatever doesn’t agree with our
preconceived understanding and opinions. With regard to the end time revelations coming from the Bible that
God has recently unsealed, many will choose to dismiss these teachings because it doesn’t agree with what they
have been previously taught. This is the sin of pride, we need to humble ourselves and let God correct past
beliefs that are not true to His Word.

God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. (James 4:6b)

The wicked, through the pride of his countenance (appearance), will not seek after God: God is
not in all his thoughts. (Psalm 10:4)

9. Parables

We have seen that the Bible is the only authority, and that God identifies Himself with His Word. We have also
seen that the Bible instructs us to compare spiritual things with spiritual so that every conclusion we draw
harmonizes with other verses in the Bible. God commands us to correct any past beliefs we might have as God
leads us to truth. In addition, we need to pray that God opens our spiritual eyes so that we can know and
understand what He is teaching to us through the Bible.

Another principle of Bible study is to understand that the Bible was written in parables. A parable is an earthly
story with a spiritual meaning. The four Gospels record numerous parables Jesus told such as the parable of the
Prodigal Son, the Good Samaritan, the Rich Man and Lazarus, and the Ten Bridesmaids. These parables can be
thought of as illustrative parables; they are stories that Jesus told to convey spiritual meaning. These are what
we typically think of as being parables.

However, it turns out that the entire Bible was written in parables. The Bible is the Word of God, and Jesus is the
Word made flesh who dwelt among us. God has told us that Jesus only spoke in parables, and because Jesus is
the Word, we know the Bible itself was written in parables.

And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it. But
without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things
to his disciples. (Mark 4:33-34)

- 12 - may21-2011.com
When we read the Bible knowing that it is written in parables, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can
see that the Bible is rich in spiritual truth. Not only did Jesus use illustrative parables to convey spiritual
meaning, God also uses numerous historical events to convey spiritual meaning that is relevant in our day.
These types of parables can be referred to as historical parables.

For example, Jesus performed the miracle of changing six containers of water into wine; this has the spiritual
meaning of demonstrating that God is the Infinite Creator of all things. Another example is Jesus healing those
with leprosy, an incurable disease at the time; this has the spiritual meaning of teaching how only God can
cleanse us from the incurable disease of sin. Jesus gave sight to the blind; spiritually this shows how we need
God to give us spiritual eyes so that we can understand His Word. Jesus performed the miracle of feeding 5,000
from a small lunch of fish and bread; spiritually this teaches us that God is the provider of our physical and
spiritual needs, He is the Bread of Life. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead; spiritually this shows how we are
dead in our sins, and just as a dead person cannot do anything to come back to life again, only God can do the
work of saving someone by giving them a new resurrected soul -- there is nothing we can do to contribute to our
salvation.

IMPORTANT: Both the Old Testament and New Testament are rich in historic parables that
provide very pertinent truths for our day, including end time prophesies that have recently been
unsealed by Holy God.

Some people believe that the Old Testament is just a history book and that only the New Testament is relevant to
us today. In actuality the Old Testament contains a tremendous amount of end time information that is
applicable to us. Now that God has unsealed the Bible, we can see that God through the Old and New
Testaments is revealing a great amount of information about the end times. Following the Biblical rule of
comparing Scripture with Scripture, we need to compare verses in both the Old and New Testament to find
truth. We can come to understanding only when we find harmony in the entire Bible, and we need to depend on
God to open our spiritual eyes to give us understanding.

An example of an Old Testament historical parable is when God fed the Israelites manna (a special type of food)
from heaven when they were wandering in the wilderness. Because God refers to Himself as the Bread of Life,
spiritually this demonstrated how we depend on God for our physical and eternal life. The flood of Noah’s day is
a significant historical parable that directly ties in with Judgment Day on May 21, 2011. Many books of the Old
Testament, including Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Isaiah, contain actual historical events of how God abandoned the
Nation of Israel as caretakers of His Word, and spiritually this points to events taking place in our day.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest
thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to
know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath,
to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him
shall be taken away even that he hath. (Matthew 13:9-12)

Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not,
neither do they understand. (Matthew 13:13)

Even the creation account in Genesis 1 is a historic parable. God created the heavens and earth, and the earth
was void and in darkness. God then commanded “Let there be light” and there was light, yet the sun and other
heavenly bodies weren’t created until the fourth day. God is showing how He is the light of the world and that
He gives the light of salvation that cuts through the darkness of sin and death. Throughout the Bible salvation is
associated with light; and sin, death and damnation are associated with darkness.

- 13 - may21-2011.com
The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the
shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. (Isaiah 9:2)

God wrote the Bible in parables; this includes both the Old and New Testaments. He commands us to study His
Word and to seek the spiritual meaning until God gives us truth. We’re to test our understanding with the rest of
the Bible, and be willing to correct any wrong past beliefs as we learn more truth. If verses seem to contradict
each other, it means we need to do more homework (that is, study the Bible), and we need to pray for wisdom
and understanding so that God will open our spiritual eyes. God is holy, He does not contradict Himself; any
perceived contradiction means we do not have a correct understanding.

God wrote the Bible in a complex and confusing way in order to hide the truths that He has
unsealed during these end days of the earth’s history. We need God to open our spiritual eyes so
that we may understand what He is telling us in the Bible.

Throughout the ages many have read God’s Word and have tried to understand. Many have believed that they
came to truth but in actuality have not; this has led to numerous false doctrines. We need God to give us truth
and understanding, God must open our spiritual eyes.

But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you,
That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have
not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. (Matthew
13:16-17)

10. The Flood

As previously mentioned, the worldwide flood of Noah’s day is a historic parable. It was an actual event that
took place in 4990 BC, and it also conveys much spiritual meaning and prophesies for our day. The ark spiritually
represents Jesus Christ, and just as eight people (Noah and his family) were saved from the flood, those saved
from the wrath of God on Judgment Day are given safety in Christ. The floodwaters formed a sea covering the
entire earth, and spiritually the sea represents the grave, that is, death. The millions of people alive at the time
of the flood who were not in the ark were punished by death.

Interestingly, the word “pitch” is used in Genesis 6 to describe the tar-like substance Noah spread over the wood
of the ark to make it watertight. The original manuscripts of the Old Testament were written in Hebrew, and the
very same three letter Hebrew word for pitch is the word for “atonement”, a word that means “reconciliation”,
or reestablishing a close relationship. The Bible refers to the sacrificial death of Jesus as the atonement for the
sins of those He saved. Jesus reconciled, or reestablished, the relationship of His people with God through His
death, resurrection and salvation. Jesus paid the penalty for the sins of those He saved so that they would
obtain the gift of eternal life. The pitch on the ark spiritually represents the covering of sins by Christ.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Romans 6:23)

We have seen that the ark that saved Noah’s family spiritually represents Christ. On May 21, 2011, only those in
the safety of Christ, represented by the ark covered with pitch (atonement), will be spared from death. In
Matthew 36 Jesus tied the historical parable (the actual event) of the flood of Noah’s day to His coming on May
21, 2011.

- 14 - may21-2011.com
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But
as the days of Noe (Noah) were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days
that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until
the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all
away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Watch therefore: for ye know not what
hour your Lord doth come. (Matthew 24:36-39, 42)

In the above verse and other places in the Bible, God is teaching that only the Father knows the day or the hour
of Christ’s return. In Mark 13 it states that the son does not know. Note that most of the New Testament was
written in Greek, and in the original Greek the word “son” is not capitalized; it was capitalized by the Bible
translators.

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels that are in heaven, neither
the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. (Mark
13:32-33)

By carefully studying the Bible we know that the son cannot refer to Jesus. Jesus never ceased to be God. He
taught His disciples that if they saw Him, then they have seen the Father. The word “son” in Mark 13:32 refers to
Satan who in 2 Thessalonians 2 is called the “son of perdition”. Perdition means hell and utter destruction.
There is one God, and three persons in the Godhead. In a mysterious way that goes beyond our human
understanding, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit persons of the Trinity is one God.

Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me. (John 14:11a)

He that hath seen me hath seen the Father. (John 14:6b)

I and my Father are one. (John 10:30)

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his
shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting
Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

This is an example of how God wrote the Bible in a complex way to hide information until He chooses to reveal it
to those whose spiritual eyes are opened by God. Many have been taught and continue to believe that no one
can know the day and hour of Christ’s return, and that He will come unexpectedly as a thief. In fact, no one
could know the day of His return until very recently, but now we can know because in these end times God has
unsealed end time revelations that previously had been hidden in the Bible.

VERY IMPORTANT: God is telling us to watch. If we don’t watch, He will come as a thief. If the
time of Christ’s return could never be known, then why would God instruct us to watch?

If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I
will come upon you. (Revelation 3:3)

God told us to watch and pray so that His coming won’t be unexpected. As the ark provided Noah and his family
safety from death, only those who are saved by Jesus Christ will be given safety from God’s wrath that will take
place beginning on Judgment Day – May 21, 2011.

- 15 - may21-2011.com
In the Bible God is relating the worldwide flood of Noah’s day to His coming on Judgment Day.
Just as Noah, referred to in 2 Peter 2 as a preacher of righteousness, was giving warning of the
coming worldwide destruction, God is using individuals today to give warning to the world of the
coming destruction on May 21, 2011.

After reviewing the timeline of history, we will discuss another very close association with the worldwide flood
of Noah’s day and May 21, 2011.

11. Spiritual Numbers

Before reviewing the timeline of history, it is important to understand how God uses numbers in the Bible. The
Bible contains words that are from the very lips of God. Numbers are words and numbers can have spiritual
meaning; everything God does He does deliberately and for a purpose. When studying the Bible we are to look
for the spiritual meaning and compare Scripture with Scripture.

Numbers are words and therefore should be studied and defined like any word in the Bible. We
need to compare Scripture with Scripture to determine the spiritual meaning of the numbers God
uses in the Bible.

The Bible is from God and does not contain contradictions. When there are apparent contradictions, especially
when numbers are involved, it causes mistrust in the Bible. Many theologians and others familiar with the Bible
believe the Bible contains scribal errors. The Bible in the original manuscripts was written by God; that is why it’s
important to use the King James version because that version was translated to English from copies of the
original manuscripts. Each and every word and number in the original manuscripts contains precisely what God
desired to convey to us.

God purposely wrote the Bible to foster unbelief and skepticism in the hearts of those who are not saved; for
them the Bible appears to contain errors, contradictions, and many things that have no relevance to us today.
Many Bible teachers stress that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God, yet in practice they subject
themselves to the authority of the Bible only when it appears to agree with their own beliefs or with the
doctrines of their church. They are putting the wisdom of man over the authority of God.

The key spiritual numbers God uses in the Bible are as follows:

2 – Sending out the Gospel

3 – God’s purpose
4 – Universality; worldwide
5 – Atonement; used in connection with both salvation and judgment
6 – Work

- 16 - may21-2011.com
7 – Perfect completeness
10 – Completeness
12 – Fullness of time
13 – End of the world
17 – Heaven
23 – Judgment
40 – Testing, and at times, used to signify punishment and judgment
43 – Judgment
84 – Tribulation

For example, the number three (3-purpose) is used a number of times in relation to Jesus crucifixion on the cross
including 3 crosses, 3 denials by Peter, Jesus prayed 3 hours in the Garden of Gethsemane, the words on the
cross were in 3 languages, there were 3 hours of darkness, and Jesus’ body was in the grave 3 days. Also, the
number 3 is featured in the 30 pieces of silver used for the betrayal by Judas. The number 3 is conveying a great
spiritual message; everything connected with the crucifixion of Jesus was according to God’s purpose.

The number 5 is at times used in connection with salvation, other times with judgment, and sometimes both
salvation and judgment. In Matthew 14 Jesus fed 5,000 by miraculously multiplying 5 loaves of bread. Jesus
refers to Himself as the Bread of Life, and the 5,000 signify those who spiritually feed on God’s Word and are
given salvation. In Revelation 9 the number 5 (5-judgment) is associated with the five months of judgment that
will begin on May 21, 2011.

In the parable of the 10 virgins in Matthew 25, the number 5 is used to convey both salvation and judgment.
Christ describes Himself as the bridegroom, and those saved, the eternal church, as the bride. The 5 wise virgins
are those who were saved, but that 5 foolish virgins were not saved; they did not have oil for their lamps where
oil represents the true Gospel.

The number 6 represents work. God created the universe in 6 days and rested the 7th day (6-work, 7-
completeness). Christ’s first recorded miracle while on earth is described in John 2 where Jesus turned 6 vessels
of water into wine. This historic parable demonstrated that He is the Creator. The Bible makes a point to show
that 6 vessels of water were changed into wine just as the work of creation took place in 6 days.

The number 13 conveys the end of the world. The earth was 13,000 years old in 1988 which was the beginning
of The Great Tribulation. In Joshua 6, after the Israelite soldiers marched around the city of Jericho the 13th time,
the priests blew their trumpets and the city walls fell down and the soldiers destroyed the city and all the
occupants aside from one family (Rahab’s family).

The number 40 (testing and judgment) is used extensively in the Bible. It rained 40 days and nights to cause the
worldwide flood (judgment). After God led the Israelites out of Egypt, as described in Exodus 19, they waited at
Mount Sinai for 40 days (testing) while Moses received the ten commandments from God, and the failed the test
by creating and worshipping a golden calf. In Numbers 13 the spies were in the land of Canaan 40 days (testing)
and as punishment for not trusting God, God caused the Israelites to wander in the wilderness for 40 years
where those over 20 years of age perished (judgment). Jesus was in the desert for 40 days (testing) without food
and He demonstrated how Satan was not able to tempt Him to sin. In Jonah 3, Jonah warned the Ninevites that
God was going to destroy Nineveh in 40 days (testing). In this historic parable God chose not to destroy the
Ninevites because they humbled themselves and pleaded to God for mercy.

- 17 - may21-2011.com
The numbers in the Bible can convey spiritual meaning. Just as words can be broken down in
order to understand their meaning, numbers are also words that can be broken down into smaller
numbers to understand their spiritual meaning.

Jesus demonstrated how a number can be made up of spiritual numbers when Peter asked Him how many times
we are to forgive. Jesus responded by saying 70 x 7 where 7 and 10 represent completeness. That is, He wasn’t
telling us to forgive up to 490 times, instead we’re to forgive an unlimited number of times (complete
forgiveness).

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive
him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until
seventy times seven. (Matthew 18:21-22)

The number 43 is in view in Exodus 12 where we’re told the Israelites were in Egypt for 430 years, many years
held captive as slaves. The 430 years breaks down to 43 x 10 (43-judgment, 10-completeness), or complete
judgment. It is recorded in John 21 that Jesus’ disciples were fishing and did not catch any fish. Jesus came up
to them and told them to cast their net on the right side of the boat, and they caught 153 large fish in their net
and yet the net did not break. In this historic parable, the fish represent the saved believers who were brought
out of the sea, a representation of the grave. Why did God use the number 153? The number 153 breaks down
to the spiritual numbers of 17 x 3 x 3 (17-heaven, 3-purpose) showing that it is God’s purpose to bring His chosen
people to heaven.

Every word in the Bible, including each number, is used by God to convey His message to us. God
has a purpose for everything He says and does.

This is not numerology where someone assigns letters to numbers and then attempts to find some type of
meaning. And it is not a Bible code where secret messages are hidden in the Bible that can be decoded. Rather,
this is interpreting the Bible using the Bible as its own dictionary. Just as we can break down long words into
components to understand the meaning of the word, God gives numbers that can be broken down into smaller
numbers in order to convey spiritual meaning of the number.

The “Study Basics” section of the web site “The Latter Rain”, and Chapter 8 of the book “Time Has an End” (see
Appendix A) contains other examples of how spiritual numbers are used in the Bible.

12. The Timeline of History - Introduction

When we study the Bible, especially the Old Testament, we might wonder why God provided detailed
information about individuals including how long they lived and who their offspring were. God has a purpose for
everything. Through the genealogies (the “begats”) and other time information such as elapsed time periods;
through careful study of the Bible; and by God opening spiritual eyes, the very accurate timeline of the world’s
history is now known. This timeline was determined about 35 years ago from information given in the Bible.
This timeline has been carefully scrutinized over the past years and found to be absolutely accurate.

In these end times, through careful study of the Bible and the Bible alone, God has revealed the world’s timeline.
We now know the heavens and earth were created by God in 11,013 BC, the worldwide flood occurred in 4990
BC, Jesus was born in 7 BC, Jesus was crucified in 33 AD, and in 2011 AD the earth will be 13,023 years old.

- 18 - may21-2011.com
While in many cases the dates in the Bible’s timeline coincide with archeological records, the archeological
records aren’t always accurate whereas the Bible is from God and is completely trustworthy.

IMPORTANT: God has provided the very accurate timeline of the world’s history in order to reveal
end time events, and He gave us many tremendous proofs so that we can be certain that our
knowledge of the calendar is correct.

For many years theologians have concluded that creation took place in 4004 BC and the worldwide flood
occurred in 2348 BC. They arrived at these dates by adding together the genealogies recorded in Genesis 5 and
11. However, this timeline doesn’t align with archeological records. For example, archeological records show
the Egyptian, Mayan and Chinese civilizations all began before 2800 BC, and we know from the Bible that the
earth wasn’t divided until after the flood. Prior to the flood everyone spoke the same language and there was
just one continent on the earth.

And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. (Genesis 11:1)

Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all
the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
(Genesis 11:9)

And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the
earth was divided. (1 Chronicles 1:19a)

From information recorded in the Bible, after harmonizing the Biblical calendar with our modern day calendar, it
is known that Peleg lived from 3153 BC to 2914 BC and from secular records, archeologists have determined the
Mayan calendar began on August 11, 3114 BC. While the Bible only tells us the continents were divided in
Peleg’s lifetime and doesn’t provide enough information to determine the exact year, from archaeological
records it appears the people were scattered and the continents were miraculously, supernaturally divided by
God prior to 3114 BC. Many geologists accept that the earth was once one land mass and believe that the
continents drifted apart a long time ago. The Bible provides the explanation. The “drift” was likely very rapid,
and we know it occurred during Peleg’s lifetime.

By using the Biblical rule of comparing Scripture with Scripture, and through God’s mercy, we now
have a very accurate timeline of the world’s history from creation to the end of the world. God,
the creator of the universe, has devised a very precise timeline with events occurring at
predetermined times. Everything is under God’s control!

The key to knowing the early Biblical timeline is to understand that the word “son” doesn’t always imply a father-
son relationship. For example, in Matthew 1 Jesus is referred to as the son of David, and David the son of
Abraham. This was to show that Jesus was, through His mother Mary’s line, a descendent of David, and David
was a descendent of Abraham. Prior to the birth of Abraham, time was measured in generations, and
generations were defined by life spans. It is like a clock, when a calendar patriarch died it marked the end of that
generation. The “clock” would then be reset to zero and a descendent born in that year became the new
calendar patriarch. While this might seem strange at first, it actually is the same method used today! When
Christ was born the clock was set back to zero and the years were counted as His life continued (although the
modern day calendar is off by six years). Because Christ is eternal, Christ’s generation on earth will continue until
the end of the world in 2011 AD (where AD is the abbreviation for the Latin phrase “The year of our Lord”).

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. (Matthew
24:34)

- 19 - may21-2011.com
Beginning with Abraham being called by God in 2092 BC, the calendar patriarch method was no longer the
method used to determine the earth’s timeline. Instead, the Bible provides information about time spans and
when key events occurred so that we can know the timeline from 2092 BC to 2011 AD. There are 1,189 chapters
in the Bible and starting with Genesis 12, the Bible focuses almost exclusively on the last 4,000 years of the
earth’s 13,023 year history. The majority of the chapters in the Old Testament concentrate on the Nation of
Israel because God used Israel as a historic parable to provide us with a tremendous amount of spiritual
knowledge that is very relevant to the end times of our day.

The booklet “The Biblical Calendar of History”; the book “Time Has an End”; and the “Earth’s Timeline” section
of the web site “The Latter Rain“ (see Appendix A) provide detailed information on the timeline of the world’s
history and how it was determined from the Bible.

13. The Timeline of History - Creation

Many might be skeptical that the timeline in the Bible shows that the world is only a little over 13,000 years old.
You might have been taught that the universe is billions of years old, the earth is hundreds of millions of years
old, and that life evolved over millions of years. Textbooks, public and private schools and universities,
museums, zoos, scientific publications, the entertainment industry, the media, and even a number of
mainstream church denominations support evolution and accept it as scientific fact.

But any belief where God isn’t the creator of the heavens and earth undermines the power, authority and
majesty of Almighty God. Evolution and other non-Biblical origin theories are in fact a type of religion. It is the
faith and belief that the earth and the universe, the animals, insects, plants and humans, all came into existence
by some way other than being created by the God of the Bible. Any belief that does not acknowledge God as the
Supreme Creator robs God of the glory that God alone deserves. Placing man’s ideas above God’s thoughts is
nothing more than idolatry.

I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to
graven images. (Isaiah 42:8)

Evolution and other non-Biblical origin theories are held by those who reject God and don’t want
to have a God they must to answer to. Out of pride and arrogance many don’t want to
acknowledge the God of the Bible.

God spoke the world and universe into existence and created mankind in His image. How could He do that? God
is infinite in power and might. He is eternal, without beginning and without end. Our feeble minds cannot
understand an infinite God, we need to trust what God tells us as recorded in the Bible.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. (Revelation 22:13)

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought
forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting,
thou art God. (Psalm 90:1-2)

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the
heavens, and all their host have I commanded. (Isaiah 45:12-13)

And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the
works of thine hands. (Hebrews 1:10)

- 20 - may21-2011.com
Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves. (Psalm
100:3a)

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible,
whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by
him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (Colossians 1:16-17)

Evolution is not scientific, it is a philosophy that attempts to explain creation through random chance without a
designer. While evolution continues to be conveyed as scientific fact, the theory of evolution has proven to be
completely bankrupt, especially in recent years. Evolutionary theories are constantly changing, they often
contradict themselves, and the theories violate very basic scientific principles including thermodynamic laws and
biological and chemical principles. Explosions and chaos don’t produce order. An intricate, finely balance design
can’t take place without a designer. Life doesn’t come out of non-life. Mutations do not create new species.
The fossil record refutes evolution – unlike Darwin’s prediction, no intermediate fossil forms have ever been
found, the fossils show creatures and plants in their finished form. In addition, evolutionists have created many
hoaxes and have come up with wild speculation and unproven theories that often get conveyed as scientific fact.

Life, the earth, and the universe are complex and awesome beyond imagination. The more we learn about the
complexity of life, nature, and the universe, the more we can see the glory of Almighty God revealed in His
creation. In our day we can now begin to appreciate the incredible complexity of things not seen by the naked
eye including molecules, cells, DNA, genes and bacteria. Humans, insects, animals and vegetative life are all
remarkably complex and are very dependent on each other. There are over a million animal species, over a
million insect species, and over 300,000 plant species, each with their own unique design and characteristics.
More species are discovered every year, and an untold number have gone extinct. Through observation, we can
see that each organism, from the singled cell bacteria to fungus to plants to insects to animals to humans, all
have intricately arranged parts that fit together for a purpose. The complexity of each organism demonstrates
features of design where it would be impossible to come about through random chance but only by intelligence.
Science is based on observation and testing. Real design, not chance, is the only scientific explanation.

Evolution cannot explain how or why eyes and ears would evolve, there is no explanation for reproduction, there
is no explanation for plant evolution. Human, animal and insect eyes are vastly more complex than the most
advanced camera; the brain is exceedingly more powerful than any computer humans can develop; birds and
insects were designed to fly with incredible precision; a tree can pump water much more efficiently than any
pump man can devise; the billions of galaxies, each containing millions if not billions of stars, are beyond what
we can comprehend. Our earth’s sun is one of an estimated 300 to 500 billion stars in our Milky Way galaxy
alone! God’s infinite power and majesty can be seen from the complexities of a single cell to the billions of
galaxies in the universe. Yet in this vast universe, even though our world is but a speck, God has shown His love
for this world.

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast
ordained; what is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! (Psalm 8:3-4, 9)

Whether saved or unsaved, people were created in the image of God and God cares for His creation. In Matthew
5 God tells how He sends the rain on the just (the saved) and the unjust (the unsaved). The world was a perfect
place and mankind was created perfectly, but because of sin, God cursed the world. Even so, due to God’s
mercy, many of the saved and unsaved people of the world are still able to enjoy the wonders and pleasures of
this life – family, friends, health, shelter, delicious food, travel, careers, education, entertainment, etc. God is the
creator and sustainer of life.

Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their
host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou
preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee. (Nehemiah 9:6)

Much more can be said about the intricacies and complexities of life and how only an all-powerful God could
have created and continues to sustain this world and its inhabitants. You are encouraged to visit the web site
“Creation Moments” (see Appendix A). This site contains many examples on how evolutionary theory is
completely bankrupt and how we can see from nature that only a wise and Almighty Creator, the God revealed
to us through the Bible, could have created this awesome universe, the world, and the life that inhabits the
world. The “Creation Moments” site contains scientific evidence for the infallible (certain) truth of the Bible.

14. The Timeline of History

The following table contains key dates in the timeline of history. Knowing the timeline of history is fundamental
to observing the signs of the end. The timeline is the basis for showing the clues and proofs Christ gives which
guarantee He will return on May 21, 2011. The signs, clues and proofs related to the timeline will be covered in
upcoming sections of this paper.

Each of these milestones in the world’s history was calculated solely from information found in the Bible. There
is no other accurate record in existence that approaches the accuracy of the recording of these historical events.

Note that all of the dates in the timeline have been converted from the Biblical (Hebrew) calendar to our modern
day calendar.

15. A Sign – Israel Becomes a Nation

In the Old Testament the Nation of Israel was identified with a fig tree.

I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness, I saw your fathers as the first ripe in the fig tree at her
first time. (Hosea 9:10a)

- 24 - may21-2011.com
In Matthew 24, a chapter that describes The Great Tribulation, Jesus said that when the fig tree (representing
the Nation of Israel) produces leaves, we will know that summer is near.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know
that summer is nigh. (Matthew 24:32)

The end of summer identifies with the harvest. The final harvest is the Latter Rain, the second part of The Great
Tribulation.

The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the
angels. (Matthew 13:39)

The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. (Jeremiah 8:20)

The Nation of Israel was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. Following World War II, on May 14, 1948, very
unexpectedly, Israel became a nation again. This fulfilled the prophesy of the fig tree bearing leaves and was a
sign that the end of the world is near. Jesus did not say that the fig tree would bear fruit; He just said that the fig
tree will bear leaves, or show life. In John 15 Jesus illustrates that He is the vine and those who are saved are the
branches. His chosen people bear fruit, that is, they perform good works as a result of their salvation.

But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it;
which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
(Matthew 13:23)

It is interesting that Israel became a nation on the day of the feast of Pentecost in 1948. The beginning of The
Great Tribulation, on May 21, 1988, was exactly forty years and seven days after Israel became a nation (40-
testing, 7-completeness). The Nation of Israel was tested and never bore fruit; aside from a very small number
of individuals the Israelites have not shown any interest in acknowledging Jesus Christ as the promised Messiah.
But this event was a time clue that the end is near. The first Jubilee Year which followed 1948 was the year 1994
which we now know was also the beginning of the Latter Rain of The Great Tribulation.

16. Be Not Ignorant of One Thing

It was mentioned in a preceding section that God has tied the worldwide destruction that took place during the
flood of Noah’s day (4990 BC) to Judgment Day in 2011 AD.

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things
continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. (2 Peter 3:3-4)

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the
earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being
overflowed with water, perished: (2 Peter 3:5-6)

Immediately after reminding us of the worldwide destruction of the flood, God speaks of the Day of Judgment.

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved
unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition (destruction) of ungodly men. (2 Peter 3:7)

In the next verse God is telling us that we are to not be ignorant of one thing, that a day is as a thousand years.
God states it twice to stress the significance.

- 25 - may21-2011.com
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand
years, and a thousand years as one day. (2 Peter 3:8)

In the account of the flood God gave Noah the warning that the flood will occur in seven days. Noah and his
family had seven days to get into the safety of the ark which spiritually represents the safety of Jesus Christ.

For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and
every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. (Genesis
7:4)

If a day is as a thousand years, the seven day warning that Noah was given is a 7,000 year warning for us. The
flood took place in 4990 BC, and 7,000 years after 4990 BC is the year 2011 AD. Is this a coincidence? Noah was
given a seven day warning, and we’re told not to be ignorant of the fact that a day is a thousand years.

IMPORTANT: In 2 Peter 3 God has given the world a seven thousand year warning of Judgment
Day – seven thousand years from the worldwide flood in 4990 BC is the year 2011 AD.

17. An Infallible Proof

In Genesis 7 God declared that the doors of the ark were shut on the 17th day of the 2nd month in 4990 BC (17-
heaven, 2-Gospel). Noah and his family were told to enter the safety of the ark; the doors were then shut by
God and no one else could become saved from destruction. Spiritually the ark represents the safety of Jesus
Christ, and the water of the flood represents death and destruction.

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the
month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of
heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. In the
selfsame day entered Noah...into the ark. (Genesis 7:11-13)

Why did God give the specific information of the day and the month that Noah entered the ark? Converting the
dates of the Biblical calendar to the calendar of our day shows that in the year 2011, the 17th day of the 2nd
month falls on May 21, 2011!

SUPER IMPORTANT: We are told not to be ignorant of one thing, that a day is as a thousand
years, and just as Noah was given a 7 day warning, we have been given a 7,000 year warning.

Furthermore, the door of the ark was shut by God on the 17th day of the 2nd month. Converted
to our modern day calendar, the 17th day of the 2nd month falls on May 21, 2011!!!

This cannot be a coincidence. God has precisely tied the worldwide destruction of the Great Flood to the next
worldwide destruction, the Day of Judgment, which will begin on May 21, 2011. This is an infallible proof (i.e., a
certain proof) that God has given to us through the Bible.

In Genesis 7 God tells us that it rained forty days and nights (40-judgment) resulting in a flood that covered the
entire world including the mountains. Noah, his family, and pairs of all land dwelling animals floated on the ark
for 150 days. In the calendar of Noah’s day, a month was thirty days, so the 150 days was a period of five months

- 26 - may21-2011.com
(5-salvation/judgment). This five month period foreshadowed the five month Day of Judgment beginning on
May 21, 2011 and ending on October 21, 2011.

And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five
months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
(Revelation 9:5)

After five months the ark was grounded, but Noah, his family and the animals could not leave the ark until after
the waters receded, a period of 370 days (37-judgment, 10-completeness) as can be determined from Genesis 8.

VERY IMPORTANT: Through careful study of the Bible God has revealed the precise calendar of
history including the warning that the Day of Judgment will be on May 21, 2011.

Numerous proofs, from the Bible and the Bible alone, have been given that lock in the date of May 21, 2011
including the direct tie-in of Judgment Day to the worldwide judgment that occurred during the flood of Noah’s
day. As God warned Noah of the coming destruction, God is also warning us of Judgment Day on May 21, 2011
which will be followed by five months (153 days) of God’s wrath leading to the destruction of the heavens and
the earth on October 21, 2011.

18. Signs, Clues and Proofs

Through His mercy God has provided a very accurate timeline of the world’s history, and He gave many signs,
clues and proofs to GUARANTEE to us that Judgment Day will be on May 21, 2011. God is eternal, He is the
Creator, and nothing is done haphazardly; He knows the end from the beginning.

For at the appointed time the end shall be. (Daniel 8:19b)

Because he had appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness. (Acts
17:31a)

Below is a recap of the key dates of the world’s timeline. Section 14 of this paper presented additional dates as
well as details surrounding these dates. Remember, the dates were converted from the Biblical calendar and are
coordinated to our modern day calendar. From the timeline we will see how God has provided tremendous
proofs so that we can know without a doubt that the timeline is accurate including the knowledge that May 21,
2011 will be the Day of Judgment. The time intervals between dates convey spiritual truth.

October 21, 2011 – Destruction of the heavens and earth on the final Feast of Tabernacles Day

The following is a summary of the many signs, clues and proofs that God has provided to guarantee that the day
of His return will be May 21, 2011.

[Note: When doing a calculation from BC to AD, remember to subtract one because there was no year zero.]

 A Sign: We previously saw that when Israel became a nation (“putteth forth leaves”) in 1948, it was a sign
that the end of the world is near. The next Jubilee Year after Israel became a nation was in 1994.
 A Proof: We also saw that 2011 is exactly 7,000 years from the worldwide flood of Noah’s day in 4990 BC.
God instructs us to not be ignorant of one thing, that a day is as a thousand years. As Noah was given 7 days
warning to enter the ark, the world was given a 7,000 year warning to enter the safety of Jesus Christ (7-
completeness).
 An Infallible Proof: Furthermore, Noah and his family entered the ark on the 17th day of the 2nd month.
Converting the Biblical calendar to our present day calendar, in the year 2011 the 17th day of 2nd month will
be May 21, 2011.

Clues – The following are not proofs of the timing of the end, but they do give credence to the accuracy of the
calendar of history. It isn’t coincidental that spiritual numbers of 5, 6, 13 and 23 are present in the anniversary
dates of the world; God is following a very precise, pre-arranged calendar.
 The 13,000 anniversary of the earth occurred in 1988 AD (11,013 BC to 1988 AD) (13-end of world).
 There were 6,023 years from creation to the worldwide flood in 4990 BC (6-work, 23-judgment).
 There were 5,023 years from the worldwide flood in 4990 BC to Christ’s death on the cross in 33 AD (5-
judgment/salvation, 23-judgment).
 There were 11,006 years from creation to Christ’s birth in 7 BC (6-work). Jesus performed the work needed
to save His people.

- 28 - may21-2011.com
 There were 13,006 years from creation to the beginning of the Latter Rain in 1994. (13-end of world, 6-
work).
 In 2011 the age of the earth will be 13,023 years (13-end of world, 23-judgment).

There are two time paths that lead to May 21, 2011, the first being the 7,000 years from the flood of Noah’s day
as previously described. The other time path was found by recognizing that 1994 was a Jubilee Year. The first
Jubilee occurred when the Israelites entered Canaan, the Promised Land, in 1407 BC. By God’s command, as
recorded in Leviticus 23, the Jubilee was to be celebrated every year with a special celebration every 50th year.
Modern day Israel became a nation in 1948 which was a sign the end is near (the fig tree “putteth forth leaves”).
The next Jubilee Year following 1948 was the year 1994 which turns out to be a very significant year in the
timeline of history.
 The Jubilee Day in the Jubilee Year of 1994 was September 7, 1994. The Great Tribulation was divided into
two parts, the first being 2,300 days (23-judgment) as described in Daniel 8 and spiritually represented in
Revelation 8 as about a half hour (a part of the whole). During these 2,300 days there was silence in heaven;
God was preparing the world for judgment and virtually no one was being saved. Exactly 2,300 days prior to
September 7, 1994 is the date that marked the end of the church age and the beginning of The Great
Tribulation, May 21, 1988.
And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half
an hour. (Revelation 8:1)

 The length of time from September 7, 1994 to May 21, 2011 is 17 years (17-heaven) or more specifically, it is
exactly 6,100 days. During this second part of The Great Tribulation, the Latter Rain, a great multitude are
being saved during the final harvest of those given salvation.

 The 2,300 days of the first part of The Great Tribulation added to the 6,100 days of the second part of The
Great Tribulation is 8,400 days. The number 84 is associated with the three tribulations in the world’s history
as will be described in an upcoming section. The number 8,400 breaks down to 7 x 10 x 10 x 12 (7-perfect
completeness, 10-completeness, 12-fullness of time).
 The 8,400 days of The Great Tribulation (May 21, 1988 to May 21, 2011) are exactly 23 years to the very day
(23-judgment).

 A proof: The church age began on May 22, 33 AD on the day of Pentecost and ended exactly 1,955 years
later to the very day on May 21, 1988. The number 1,955 breaks down to the spiritually significant numbers
5 x 17 x 23 (5-judgment/salvation, 17-heaven, 23-judgment) with the number 17 signifying that there were
those in the churches who were saved (the wheat), and the number 23 referring to those who were not
saved (the tares). The Great Tribulation began on the day the church age ended.

- 29 - may21-2011.com
 Just as the churches were designated by God to be caretakers of the Bible for 1,955 years, the Nation of
Israel was designated to be the caretaker of God’s Word for 1,480 years inclusive, beginning with the Ten
Commandments given to them from God in 1447 BC followed by the first five books of the Bible and
eventually the entire Old Testament. As recorded in Matthew 27, Israel’s role as caretaker of the Word
ended when Christ died on the cross in 33 AD when there was an earthquake and the veil of the temple was
torn. The veil separated the Holy of Holies from the rest of the temple, and when Christ died the veil was
split in two signifying that God’s saving Word is for all nations and not just the Israelites.
The number 1,480 factors to 37 x 40 (37-judgment, 40-testing). The Israelites had God’s Word and were
tested but most came under God’s judgment, the Bible declares that only a remnant were saved.
For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet (only) a remnant of them shall return.
(Isaiah 10:22a)

 An Infallible Proof: Christ was crucified on April 1, 33 AD, the day of Passover in 33 AD, with Christ being the
sacrificial Passover Lamb as foreshadowed during the tenth plague as recorded in Exodus 12. There are
exactly 722,500 days inclusive from April 1, 33 AD to May 21, 2011, the Day of Judgment.
The number 722,500 can be broken down to the spiritually significant numbers of (5 x 10 x 17) x (5 x 10 x 17)
(5-judgment/salvation, 10-completeness, 17-heaven). Refer to Appendix C to see how number of days
between the cross and Judgment Day was derived.
It is absolutely incredible that two dates (April 1, 33 AD and May 21, 2011) separated by almost 2,000 years
break down into two pairs of very significant spiritual numbers (5, 10, 17). Only God, who created this great
universe with all of its precise physical laws, could have designed the timeline of history in such a precise and
marvelous way. It cannot be coincidental that these two dates are tied together in such an exact manner.

There are numerous other interesting relationships between significant dates of the world’s history. We realize
that these time relationships can’t be coincidences. Almighty Infinite God is the creator of this world and our
universe, and He has designed a precise timeline for the world that no human could ever devise.

If any of the dates in the calendar of history are off by a year, or in some cases by a day, then the
relationships between the dates would not be associated with spiritual numbers. In God’s mercy,
these relationships give us proof that the timeline is accurate and that we can be certain that
May 21, 2011 will be His Day of Judgment.

The number 23 is associated with judgment:

 In 1047 BC the Israelites entered Canaan, the Promised Land. Jerusalem, located in the Promised Land, was
destroyed 460 years later in 587 BC. The number 460 breaks down to 2 x 10 x 23 (2-Gospel, 10-
completeness).
 The current Great Tribulation, a time when God is preparing the world for judgment, will be exactly 23 years
in length from May 21, 1988 to May 21, 2011.
 The first part of the Great Tribulation, from May 21, 1988 to September 7, 1994 was 2,300 days. During this
period virtually no one was being saved, but then the 17 year (17-heaven) 6,100 day Latter Rain began on
September 7, 1994 where God began saving a great multitude.

- 30 - may21-2011.com
 Following the death of Solomon in 931 BC, the Nation of Israel was divided into two kingdoms, Israel and
Judah. Each of these kingdoms had 20 kings before they were destroyed (Israel was destroyed in 709 BC and
Judah in 587 BC). Prior to the division in 931 BC there were three kings: Saul, David and Solomon.
Therefore each nation had a total of 23 kings (23-judgment).

The number 43 is also associated with judgment:

 From the time that Abraham entered the land of Canaan in 2092 BC to the time Jacob had to depart from
Canaan to Egypt in 1877 BC was 215 years which is 5 x 43 (5-judgment/salvation).
 As recorded in Exodus 12, there were 430 years to the very day from when Jacob entered Egypt in 1877 BC
to the escape of the Israelites from Egypt in 1447 BC.
 From the year Abraham entered Canaan in 2092 BC to the destruction of Judah in 587 BC is 1,505 years
which is 5 x 7 x 43.
 The Israelites were freed from Egypt in 1447 BC and Judah was destroyed in 587 BC, a period of 860 years
which is 2 x 2 x 5 x 43.

In addition to spiritual numbers appearing over and over when breaking down the time intervals between key
Biblical events, we cannot help but notice how many past events are linked with the significant years of 1988,
1994 and 2011 AD. Is this coincidental or is it an indication of God’s careful plan for the unfolding of His salvation
program?
 As mentioned, the institutional church age went from 33 AD to 1988. The year 1988 marked the 13,000
anniversary of the world and was also the beginning of the 23 year Great Tribulation. The number 1,955
breaks down into the spiritually significant numbers of 5 x 17 x 23 (5-salvation/judgment, 17-heaven, 23-
judgment).

 Through careful study of the Bible it was determined that God completed the writing of the Old Testament in
391 BC with the book of Esther. Refer to Chapter 7 of the book “Time Has an End” (see Appendix A) for
additional information on how the year 391 BC was determined.
Jesus was born in 7 BC which is 384 years after the completion of the Old Testament. This number breaks
down to 3 x 27 or 2 raised to the 7th power (2-Gospel, 3-purpose, 7-completeness).
The number of years from the completion of the Old Testament in 391 BC to 2011 AD is 2,401 years which
quite amazingly breaks down to 7 x 7 x 7 x 7 (7-completeness).
 The number of years from the cross in 33 AD to 2011 is 1,978 years which factors into 2 x 23 x 43 (2-Gospel,
23 and 43-judgment).
 The number of years from when the Israelites entered the land of Canaan in 1407 BC to 1994 is 3,400 years
which is 2 x 17 x 43 (2-Gospel, 17-heaven, 43-judgment).
 The number of years from when the Israelites were freed from Egypt in 1447 BC to 1994 is 3,440 years which
is 2 x 2 x 2 x 10 x 43.
 The number of years from when Israel was divided in 931 BC to 1994 is 2,924 years which is 2 x 2 x 17 x 43.
 The number of years from when Israel became a nation again in 1948 to 1994 is 46 years which is 2 x 23, and
the number of years from 1948 to 2011 is 63 years which is 3 x 3 x 7 (3-purpose, 7-completeness).
 The number of days from May 14, 1948 when Israel became a nation again to May 21, 2011 is exactly 23,017
days (23-judgment, 17-heaven).

- 31 - may21-2011.com
 The number of days between the beginning of the second part of The Great Tribulation on September 7,
1994 and the end of the world on October 21, 2011 is 6,253 days which is 13 x 13 x 37 (13-end of the world,
37-judgment).

On September 25, 29 AD Jesus began His earthly ministry. On that date He was announced as the Lamb of God,
and was baptized to show that He had not only come to show Himself as the Lamb sacrificed for sins, but the
ceremonial washing of baptism showed that He had come as the High Priest to offer Himself as the sacrificial
Lamb (in the Old Testament the High Priest was cleansed before entering the Holy of Holies in the temple on the
annual Day of Atonement).
September 25, 29 AD was the Jubilee Day in the year 29 AD. The Jubilee Day commemorated the day when God
parted the Jordan River so the Israelites could enter Canaan, the Promised Land. Jesus was announced and
baptized on the Day of Jubilee. Jubilee means liberty, and Jesus is the essence of liberty; Jesus frees His people
from the bondage of sin.
 It is significant that the number of days between Christ’s baptism on September 25, 29 AD and the pouring
out of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday in May 21, 33 AD (the beginning of the church age) was 1,335
days inclusive. Over 500 years prior to Christ’s baptism, God prophesized this time span of 1,335 days in the
Book of Daniel.
Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
(Daniel 12:12)
 It was three and a half years to the very day from Christ’s baptism on September 25, 29 AD to Palm Sunday in
33 AD. At His baptism He was announced as the Lamb of God, and when Jesus entered Jerusalem on Palm
Sunday it was a great announcement that Christ was the Passover Lamb sacrificed as payment for the sins of
His people.

There are numerous other interesting relationships between significant dates of the world’s history that give us
clues and proofs that the timeline of the world’s history is absolutely accurate.
 From the Bible it can be determined that Christ was born on October 2, 7 BC which was the Day of
Atonement in a Jubilee Year. There have been 40 Jubilee Years inclusive (40- testing) from the birth of Christ
in 7 BC to the Jubilee Year of 1994.
 There were 2,100 years inclusive between the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah in 2067 BC and Christ’s
crucifixion on the cross in 33 AD. The number 2,100 breaks down to 3 x 7 x 1000 (3-purpose, 7 and 10-
completeness). It was God’s purpose to save His chosen people from God’s wrath.
 The number of years from when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed in 2067 BC to when Judah was
destroyed in 587 BC was 1,480 years which is 2 x 2 x 10 x 37 (37-judgment).
 Jacob (who God later gave the name “Israel” which means “Prince of God”) was born in 2007 BC and exactly
1,000 years later (10-completeness) David became the King of Israel in 1,007 BC. Even though they were
sinful, Jacob and David were portraits of Christ. For example, David was a shepherd who cared for his sheep
and later ascended to the throne as King of Israel. Interestingly, Christ, the Shepherd and King of His people,
was born in 7 BC exactly 1,000 years after David became king. And 2,000 years after Christ was born was the
year 1994, the beginning of the Latter Rain (2-Gospel, 10-completeness).
 The number of years between the tenth plague in Egypt in 1447 BC where the firstborn were killed to 33 AD
when Christ was crucified was 1,480 years inclusive which is 2 x 2 x 10 x 37 (2-Gospel, 37-judgment). Christ
was the firstborn Son who was slain to bring salvation to His people just as the Israelite firstborn were spared
(“passed over”) while all other firstborn were killed.

- 32 - may21-2011.com
 The Israelites left Egypt in 1447 BC and Jesus was born in 7 BC, a difference of 1,440 years which is 10 x 12 x
12 (10-completeness, 12-fullness). Just as God delivered the Nation of Israel from the bondage of slavery,
this escape pointed to how in the complete fullness of time, Jesus the Deliverer will come.
 The Jordan River was miraculously parted and the Nation of Israel crossed through to the land of Canaan in
1407 BC. Canaan was the Promised Land, a portrait of salvation, and 1,400 years later Jesus was born in 7
BC. The number 1,400 is 2 x 7 x 10 x 10 (2-Gospel, 7 and 10-completeness) indicating that Jesus gives
complete salvation to His people.
 In 931 BC Israel was divided into two nations, Israel and Judah. Israel was later destroyed by the Assyrians in
709 BC so they existed for a period of 222 years which is 2 x 3 x 37 (37-judgment).
 Judah also became a nation in 931 BC and was destroyed in 587 BC by the Babylonians. Judah was a nation
for 344 years which is 2 x 2 x 2 x 43 (43-judgment).
 The number of years from when Abraham, Sarah and Lot entered Canaan, the Promised Land, in 2092 BC to
Christ on the cross in 33 AD was 2,125 years inclusive. This factors to 5 x 5 x 5 x 17 (5-salvation/judgment,
17-heaven, and three 5’s reminding us it was God’s purpose). The land of Canaan and the resurrection of
Christ remind us that the purpose of God’s salvation plan is to bring His people to heaven.

This cannot all be a coincidence. Every single timeframe above can be factored into spiritually
significant numbers. God uses numbers to convey spiritual truth. In His mercy God opened
spiritual eyes and gave signs, clues and proofs so that we can be assured that the timeline of
history is correct, including proof that May 21, 2011 will be Judgment Day.

Take any two dates, calculate the timeframe between them, and try to break the difference down into spiritually
significant numbers with no decimals. Normally it can’t be done. God is infinite, He is the creator the universe
and the laws of the universe. God is in control, and He has laid out a very precise timeline and has provided
tremendous proofs so that we can know the timeline is accurate.

The booklet “We Are Almost There”, the book “Time Has an End”, and the “End Times” section of the web site
“The Latter Rain“ (see Appendix A) contain additional details showing where these clues and proofs can be
found in the Bible.

19. Ceremonial Feasts

In Old Testament times God commanded the Israelites to perform animal sacrifices and celebrate ceremonial
feasts such as Passover and the Feast of Atonement. The animal sacrifices pointed to Christ as the Lamb who
was sacrificed as payment for the sins of His chosen people. While the Israelites performed sacrifices and
celebrated the feasts, this did not result in payment for their sins; rather, these were a shadow that pointed to
things to come. Just as a shadow has no real substance, following the laws and celebrating the feasts did not
give salvation.

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new
moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
(Colossians 2:17)

- 33 - may21-2011.com
The Old Testament ceremonial feast dates pointed to, or foreshadowed, significant future events.
All but one of the feasts, the Feast of Tabernacles, has already been fulfilled.

 Day of Jubilee – This feast, also known as Rosh Hashanah and the Feast of Trumpets, was held on the 1st day
of the 7th month of the Biblical calendar. The Day of Jubilee commemorated the Children of Israel crossing
over the Jordon River to enter the Promised Land, the land of Canaan, after 40 years (40-judgment) of
wandering in the wilderness after escaping from the captivity of the Egyptians. The wilderness was a
representation of the world, Canaan was the external representation of heaven, and Jubilee means “liberty”.

On September 25, 29 AD, the Day of Jubilee in the year 29 AD, Jesus was announced as the Lamb of God and
baptized to demonstrate the washing away of sins, and He then began His 3½ year ministry. Jesus is the
essence of liberty because He frees His chosen people from the bondage of sin and gives them the gift of
eternal life in heaven instead of coming under His judgment. Jesus fulfilled the Day of Jubilee feast in 29 AD.

 Jubilee Year – God commanded that every 50th Jubilee be a special celebration where liberty was to be
proclaimed throughout the land.

And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the
inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you. (Leviticus 25:10a)

Careful study of the Bible shows that Jesus was born on October 2, 7 BC. The year 7 BC was a Jubilee Year.
Jesus was the fulfillment of the special Jubilee Year that was celebrated every 50th year. He brought liberty to
His people. The year 1994, the beginning of the Latter Rain, was also a Jubilee Year.

 Day of Atonement – Once a year, on the 10th day of the 7th month of the Biblical calendar, was the Day of
Atonement also known as Yom Kippur. On this day the high priest entered a special room in the Temple called
the Holy of Holies to offer the sacrifice of an unblemished lamb. To atone is to reconcile, or reestablish a
relationship. Only the high priest could enter the Holy of Holies, and he could only enter once a year on the
Day of Atonement. The high priest was in the presence of God, and the smoke of incense was used to
symbolically shield the priest from God’s infinite glory.

This feast foreshadowed Jesus as the perfect Lamb of God who was sacrificed to pay for the sins of His
people, and how Jesus atoned, or reestablished, the relationship of God to His people. Jesus was born on the
Day of Atonement in 7 BC (October 2, 7 BC). Jesus was the fulfillment of the Day of Atonement feast.

 Passover – The annual Feast of Passover was held on the 14th day of the 1st month of the Biblical calendar,
and it was a remembrance of how God “passed over” the houses of the Children of Israel when they were
captives in Egypt in 1447 BC. During the tenth plague on Egypt, the firstborn in every family was killed.
However, the Israelites were commanded to sacrifice an unblemished lamb and put the blood of the
sacrificed lamb on their doorposts; these houses were passed over and the firstborn were spared from death.

This foreshadowed how God sacrificed Jesus, the Lamb of God, to save His people from God’s judgment.
Jesus was crucified on April 1, 33 AD which was the Passover day in 33 AD. Jesus was the fulfillment of the
Passover feast.

 Pentecost – Each year the Feast of Pentecost was celebrated fifty days after the first Sabbath following the
Passover. Pentecost is the feast of first fruits where the Israelites were to bring in a portion of their first

- 34 - may21-2011.com
harvest as an offering to God. This feast pointed to the first harvest of God’s chosen people, a period the
Bible refers to as the Early Rain.

In 33 AD, the feast of Pentecost took place on May 22, 33 AD. On that day the disciples preached God’s Word
and 3,000 were saved marking the beginning of the institutional church age, the period of the first harvest
and Early Rain. The beginning of the church age in 33 AD was the fulfillment of the feast of Pentecost.

 Feast of Tabernacles – The end of the Biblical year was celebrated with two simultaneous feasts, the Feast of
Tabernacles and the Feast of Ingathering, as described in Leviticus 23. The Feast of Tabernacles, held in the
seventh month of the Biblical calendar, commemorated how God preserved His law and cared for the
Israelites while they were wandering in the wilderness for 40 years due to not trusting God. The Ten
Commandment tablets (God’s Word) were kept in the Ark of the Covenant inside a tent which was called a
“tabernacle”, a precursor to the Temple. God miraculously shielded the tabernacle by a cloud and smoke
during the day, and a flame of fire was over it at night. As recorded in Isaiah 4, this signified how God’s Word
is our refuge.

The great temple built in Solomon’s day was dedicated during the Feast of Tabernacles. This feast was
celebrated along with the Feast of Ingathering where the Israelites were to bring in a portion of their final
harvest for the year as an offering. The Feast of Tabernacles ended on the 23rd day of the 7th month (7-
complete, 23-judgment). When converted to our modern day calendar, in 2011 the 23rd day of the 7th month
will fall on October 21, 2011.

And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he (Solomon) sent the people away
into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the Lord had shewed unto David,
and to Solomon, and to Israel his people. (2 Chronicles 7:10).

The Feast of Tabernacles has not yet been fulfilled. In 2011, the Feast of Tabernacles will end on
October 21, 2011 which is exactly five months from May 21, 2011, the Day of Judgment.

In a preceding section we saw that while the earth was judged during the worldwide flood, Noah and his
family floated in the safety of the ark for exactly 150 days which was five months (5-salvation/judgment). In
the calendar of Noah’s day each month was 30 days. This is another association of the worldwide flood and
Judgment Day; we are not to be ignorant of this relationship. Just as the ark spared Noah’s family from
destruction, God will spare His chosen people from the Day of Judgment which will begin on May 21, 2011
and end on the final day of the world, October 21, 2011, a period of exactly five months!

Additionally, the number of days in the five month period between May 21, 2011 and October 21, 2011 is
exactly 153 days. This reminds us of the historical parable in John 21 where 153 fish were caught by the net
that did not break. The number 153 breaks down to 17 x 3 x 3 (17-heaven, 3-purpose). The fish represent
those who will be spared from the grave, represented by the sea, on the Day of Judgment.

The Feast of Tabernacles marked the end of the Biblical year and foreshadowed the end of the world, and the
Feast of Ingathering is associated with the end of the final harvest. As will be covered in an upcoming section,
after Judgment Day on May 21, 2011 there will no longer be the possibility of salvation for those who Christ
did not take to heaven. On October 21, 2011, following 5 months of God’s wrath for those left behind, the
world will be destroyed by God.

The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. (Jeremiah 8:20)

- 35 - may21-2011.com
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass
away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the
works that are therein shall be burned up. (2 Peter 3:10)

Chapters 6 of the book “Time Has an End” (see Appendix A) contains additional information about the
ceremonial feast days

20. The Great Tribulation

The Bible speaks of three tribulation periods in the world’s history. The first two were historic parables
foreshadowing The Great Tribulation of our day. Note that each tribulation period consisted of two parts.

 The first tribulation was due to a famine during the time of Jacob. Jacob was the son of Isaac, grandson of
Abraham and the father of the 12 sons who became progenitors of the 12 tribes of Israel. The tribulation
period was seven years from 1879 BC to 1872 BC.
In 1877 BC, the second year of the famine, Jacob and his sons were forced to leave Canaan and go into Egypt
where food was stored. Canaan was the Promised Land given to Abraham. Canaan was the physical
representation of God’s kingdom which Jacob was forced to leave, and Egypt represented the world. Those
who left the Promised Land were spared from starvation.

 The second tribulation period was 70 years in length from 609 BC to 539 BC. The kingdom of Judah, which
represented God’s kingdom, was taken captive by the Babylonians whose king was Nebuchadnezzar, a
representation of Satan. God’s prophet Jeremiah warned the Judeans to allow the Babylonians to take them
into captivity.
In the year 587 BC, the Babylonians destroyed Jerusalem, the capital of the land of Judah. They also
destroyed Solomon’s Temple, located in Jerusalem, which was an external representation of heaven. Those
who were taken into captivity by the Babylonians were spared.

 The Great Tribulation we are currently in began on May 21, 1988 and will go until May 21, 2011. It is 23
years in length (23-judgment) and is exactly 8,400 days in duration. After the first 2,300 days (23-judgment),
the Latter Rain began on September 7th, 1994 which was the Day of Jubilee in 1994, and 1994 was a Jubilee
Year. The Latter Rain is 17 years (17-heaven) in duration, ending on May 21, 2011, the Day of Judgment.
Like the other two tribulations, The Great Tribulation was divided into two periods. September 7, 1994
marked the end of the first 2,300 days which was a period of silence where virtually no one was saved, and it
marked the beginning of the current 6,100 day Latter Rain where a great multitude are being saved.

Each of three tribulations had a division point, the first was in 1877 BC, the second in 587 BC, and the third (The
Great Tribulation) in 1994 AD. Curiously, the number of years between the first two tribulation periods was
1,290 years, and the number of years between the second and third tribulations was 2,580 which is 2 x 1,290
years.

The number 1,290 breaks down to 2 x 3 x 5 x 43 (2-Gospel, 3-purpose, 5-atonement, 43-judgment).

In the Bible, God has linked the 1,290 year relationship of the three tribulation periods giving us
yet another proof that the timeline of the world’s history is accurate.

And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh
desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. (Daniel 12:11-12)

- 36 - may21-2011.com
Note that at times God uses days to represent years. For example, in Numbers 14 God punished the Nation of
Israel by causing the Israelites to wander in the wilderness for 40 years, one year for each day the spies were in
the land of Canaan. The spies were in Canaan 40 days (40-testing) and based on their report of the land being
occupied, the Israelites did not trust that God would protect them from their enemies so God punished them for
40 years (40-judgment).

All three tribulations feature the number seven (7-completeness). The tribulation of Jacob’s day was seven
years, the tribulation in the land of Judah was 70 years (7 x 10), and the current Great Tribulation will be 8,400
days in duration which is 7 x 10 x 10 x 12 (10-completeness, 12-fullness).

All three tribulations also feature the number 84. The first 7 year tribulation was 84 months, the second 70 year
tribulation was 840 months, and the current Great Tribulation will be 23 years in duration (23-judgment) which,
remarkably, will be exactly 8,400 days in duration.

Chapter 4 of the booklet “We Are Almost There” (see Appendix A) contains additional information on the
relationship of the three tribulation periods. Also, Chapter 8 of the book “Time Has an End” (see Appendix A)
goes into addition detail regarding the patterns among the three tribulation periods.

21. Review

Recognizing that the Bible is from the lips of God and that the Bible is its own interpreter, we have seen that God
has unsealed the Bible and is revealing information about the current Great Tribulation. God has opened our
spiritual eyes so that we now have the precise timeline of the world’s history from the creation year of 13,011 BC
to the end of the world in 2011. In His mercy God has given two time paths that point to May 21, 2011 being
Judgment Day.

Many people are noticing the signs of the times including the great increase of sin in the world, and they are
recognizing the end is near. We also saw that Israel becoming a nation in 1948 was a sign. The first Jubilee Year
following 1948 was the year 1994, and from there the dates of May 21, 1988 and May 21, 2011 (the beginning
and end of the Great Tribulation) were determined. God gave many marvelous proofs showing us that these
dates are correct.

The second time path pointing to May 21, 2011 was determined by God giving us precise information about the
date of the flood of Noah’s day. The flood began on the 17th day of the 2nd month in the year 4990 BC. God
declared that we should not be ignorant of one thing, that a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a
day. Just as Noah was given 7 days to enter into the safety of the ark, the people of the world were given a 7,000
year warning to enter into the safety of Jesus Christ. The year 2011 is exactly 7,000 years after 4990 BC, and May
21, 2011 is the 17th day of the 2nd month in the year 2011.

In addition to giving us many proofs, we have seen how the events in the New Testament were foreshadowed by
the ceremonial feasts that the Israelites were commanded to perform in the Old Testament. Key events in the
New Testament took place on the feast days. The only unfulfilled feast is the Feast of Tabernacles / Feast of
Ingathering which will be fulfilled on October 21, 2011, the last day of the world’s existence.

Finally, we have seen how God associated the first two tribulations and the current Great Tribulation by the
number 1,290 as prophesized in Daniel 12. This is another proof that our knowledge of end time events is
accurate.

By God’s mercy He has given us warning, with many tremendous proofs, that Judgment Day will
be on May 21, 2011 so that the day of His return will not come upon us as a thief in the night.

- 37 - may21-2011.com
We are now changing our focus to cover Biblical truths about God’s salvation plan, hell and damnation,
Judgment Day events, God’s warning to those in the churches, and God’s command to His saved people.

These teachings are likely to be different than what you were taught and what you understand
and believe, but this is from the Bible. Do not trust this paper, rather check what is presented
here with the Bible to see if it true. The Bible is the only authority, it is the only way God is
speaking to us today.

22. Mankind’s Desperate Situation

In the Bible God declares that we were created in the image of God. Everyone has a body and a soul. Our soul is
our spirit essence, it is our identity. God created Adam and Eve without sin and to live eternally, they were
created perfect and without sin in both body and soul. But after Adam and Eve succumbed to temptation and
fell into sin, all people came under God's wrath. God is holy and hates sin. God has given us laws to follow, and
whenever we sin we are violating God’s laws. Committing sin is an act of rebellion against God, and by God’s law
the payment for sin is death. Because of sin, everyone begins life with a dead soul, and a sinful body that will
die.

Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death
passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. (Romans 5:12)

For the wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23a)

The soul that sinneth, it shall die. (Ezekiel 18:20a)

If we are guilty of even one sin we have disobeyed God and are subject to death. Because sin entered the world
through Adam and Eve, everyone is cursed because of sin, and everyone is under the wrath of God even before
being born.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. (James
2:10)

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

In sin did my mother conceive me. (Psalms 51:5b)

Because of sin, everyone begins life being spiritually dead. Just as a dead person cannot do
anything to become alive again, a spiritually dead person cannot do anything to become
spiritually alive with a new resurrected soul. There is nothing we can do to get ourselves saved!

To be saved means to be pardoned from our sins and given a forgiven, sinless eternal soul with a body that will
be resurrected on Judgment Day. The saved will reign with God in heaven eternally. But because of sin,
everyone begins their life in a very desperate situation.

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. There is none that understandeth, there is
none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become
unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Romans 3:10-12)

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jeremiah
17:9)

23. Chosen by God

Everyone was conceived in sin and begins life under the wrath of God. However, before the foundation of the
world, God in His love and mercy chose a remnant, a relatively small number of people, for Himself. His chosen
people are saved from eternal destruction. A saved person receives the inheritance of God’s kingdom and will
live and reign with God in His kingdom eternally. An inheritance is given to someone as a gift; it is not something
they work to receive.

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be
holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of
children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. (Ephesians 1:4-5)

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of
him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will. (Ephesians 1:11)

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the
called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be
conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also
justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. (Romans 8:28-30)

But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because
God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and
believe of the truth: whereunto he called you. (2 Thessalonians 2:13-14a)

God’s chosen people, referred to as His elect, had nothing to do with being chosen for salvation.

In John 3 Jesus said we need to be born again in order to be saved. To be born again means that God gives His
elect a new soul that is free from sin and without blemish. A saved person still has a sinful body, but they have a
new eternal soul that has been “born from above” meaning that God gives each of His chosen people a
resurrected, forgiven, perfect, sinless, eternal soul sometime in their lifetime.

Who does God choose? Some teach that God looked down the corridors of time and chose those who turned
out to live good lives or those who were baptized or those who made a decision to accept Christ. But the Bible is
clear, nobody can seek God on their own, God draws to Himself only those who He chose to save from before
the creation of the world.

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did
understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become
filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Psalms 53:2-3)

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring
forth fruit. (John 15:16a)

Who God chooses is His business. He tells us He is not a respecter of persons. This means that God has chosen
people from all walks of life, from all races and nationalities, no matter how sinful they might be. The saved can
be mentally handicapped or smart, infants or elderly, rich or poor, or anybody in between. It is all up to God.

God is no respecter of persons. (Acts 10:34b)

- 39 - may21-2011.com
I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have
compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that
showeth mercy. (Romans 9:15-16)

I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest (made known) unto them that
asked not after me. (Romans 10:20b)

24. The Work of Salvation

God through the Bible has instructed that He did all of the work of saving those who He has chosen before the
creation of the world. There is nothing we can do to contribute to our salvation; it is by the grace of God, it is an
underserved gift.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; Not of
works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto
good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

(God) Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but
according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world
began. (2 Timothy 1:9)

In John 11 God tells us about the historical parable of His friend Lazarus who had died. Lazarus died four days
prior to Jesus arriving and his body was a stinking corpse in the grave. Jesus told Lazarus to “come forth” and
Lazarus rose from the dead. This was an actual event, but it was also a historical parable giving us spiritual truth.
Jesus demonstrated how we are dead in sin, and just as a dead person can’t do anything to make themself alive
again, there's nothing we can do to save ourselves. We are dead in sin and need to be “born again” to receive a
new resurrected soul. We need God to do the work of salvation, and God does this work to those who He has
chosen before the world was formed.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not
that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:7)

Just as no one had any part of the decision to be born, neither did anyone have any part of the decision for their
soul to be reborn into a new, glorified resurrected soul. God did all of the work of saving His elect.

Mankind is desperately wicked and rejects God. We cannot come to Him on our own; rather, God
draws those whom He had chosen before the creation of the world to Himself.

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up
at the last day. (John 6:44)

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but
by me. (John 14:6)

And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given
unto him of my Father. (John 14:65)

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14)

- 40 - may21-2011.com
Those not elected by God will not be saved. They are born with souls that are dead, and their bodies will
eventually perish. However, those who are chosen (predestinated) by God are guaranteed their salvation. At
some time in the life of a chosen person, God will give them a new resurrected soul, and when they die their
soul existence will be with God in heaven. Once God saves someone, they will never lose their salvation, they
will not be cast out.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast
out. (John 6:37)

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. (John 10:11)

But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice,
and I know them, and they follow me. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never
perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (John 10:26-28)

When one of God’s elect has been given a new, glorified, sinless soul, he or she will have a strong desire to obey
God, study His Word, do His will, and do good works.

Good works do not contribute to anyone’s salvation, but doing good works are a result of being
saved because a saved believer has an intense desire to please and obey God. They fear and
tremble at His Word, they want to do His will.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. (1 John 5:3a)

If ye love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:15)

That they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are
good and profitable unto men. (Titus 3:8b)

God will save each chosen person sometime during their lifetime; they will receive a new, glorified, sinless soul.
However, they will still have a body that is corrupted with sin.

And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of
righteousness. (Romans 8:10)

When a saved person dies, their body is put in a grave but in their soul existence they are living with God in
heaven.

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with
the Lord. (2 Corinthians 5:8)

All of God’s elect will be given a new glorified soul sometime in their lifetime. It could be while in their mother’s
womb, moments before death, or anytime in between. All that is necessary is to be under the hearing of God’s
Word as He uses His Word to give a saving faith. This includes infants, the deaf, and mentally handicapped who
were chosen by God; they don’t need to physically hear or understand the Word, God does all of the work of
salvation through His Word, the Bible.

Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17)

- 41 - may21-2011.com
God’s sheep hear His voice, and He promises to grant salvation to His elect before their physical
body dies or before Christ returns on Judgment Day on May 21, 2011.

In 1 Corinthians 15 God instructs us that on Judgment Day He will unite the earthly body with the reborn,
resurrected soul of each of His chosen people. They will be given new, glorified, incorruptible bodies that will be
caught up (raptured) to live with God in heaven throughout eternity. This is all by God’s will, He is in charge. The
saved are given eternal life by grace, by God’s undeserved love. There is nothing a saved person did to
contribute to their salvation.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and
remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so
shall we ever be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:15-16)

That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
(Titus 3:7)

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:24)

The booklet “I Hope God Will Save Me” (see Appendix A) provides additional information from the Bible on
God’s salvation plan.

25. Believing

Many people think that they can just call on God to be saved, and that it is their free will to accept and receive
God if and when they choose to do so. The Bible has verses that seem to support this.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that
God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in him
shall not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

However, we need to apply the Biblical rule of comparing Scripture with Scripture. As we have seen, there are
none that are righteous; there are none that seek God. This is a test from God, we must make sure that our
understanding of the Bible harmonizes with other verses in the Bible. In previous sections we saw that it is God
who chooses who is saved, and that God does all of the work of saving. No one can come to God unless the
Father draws them.

So what does it mean to believe? Over 2 billion people, about a third of the world’s population, say they are
Christian which means they believe Christ is their Savior. But simply believing in God doesn’t mean someone is
saved. Even the devils know God and believe in God, but it is clear that they aren’t going to be saved.

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
(James 2:19)

- 42 - may21-2011.com
Careful study of the Bible shows us that believing is a work. The word “believe” is the verb form
of the word “faith”, and the Bible instructs us that a saving faith in God is work. That is, God did
the work of giving His elect people the faith to “believe in thine heart”.

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in
our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father. (1 Thessalonians 1:3)

… the work of faith with power. (2 Thessalonians 1:11b)

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus
answered and said until them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath
sent. (John 6:28-29)

A number of verses tell us that we are saved by the faith of Jesus, He did all of the work. Incidentally, most if not
all of the Bible translations aside from the King James version changed the wording to “faith in Jesus”, but the
Bible in the original Greek is clear that it is the “faith of Jesus”. That is why it is important to use the King James
Bible as it is translated from copies of the original manuscripts and not altered to say what people want it to say,
or what they believe it should say. We want to follow God’s Word as spoken from the very lips of God.

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even
we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the
works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (Galatians 2:16)

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which
I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for
me. (Galatians 2:20)

According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have
boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. (Ephesians 3:11-12)

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is
through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. (Philippians 3:9)

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the
faith of Jesus. (Revelation 14:12)

God is a jealous God, He does not want anyone to take any of the glory from Him. God did all of
the work of salvation; it is God who draws His chosen people to Himself.

In Numbers 15 God demonstrates His anger on those who believe they contributed in any way to get themselves
saved. God commanded that the seventh day of the week was to be a day of rest where no one was to work,
this demonstrated how God did all of the work of salvation. As described in Numbers 15, a man was seen
picking up sticks on the Sabbath Day, and God told Moses to put the man to death. This historical parable, an
actual event, is teaching us how we’re not to do any work to contribute to our salvation. ALL of the work of
salvation, and our ability to have a saving faith in God, was done by God. Sin has separated us from God, and we
need God to reconcile us to Him. God is doing the work of saving those who He has chosen from before the
creation of the world. There is NOTHING we can do to contribute towards our salvation. We need God to give us
a new spirit and a new heart so that we can “believe in thine heart”.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that
God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9)

- 43 - may21-2011.com
For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring
you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from
all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and
a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will
give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my
statutes (laws), and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. (Ezekiel 36:25-27)

Many believe that baptizing someone in water is a way to initiate salvation, but baptism is a work that we do,
and our works do not get us saved. Like the ceremonial laws of the Old Testament, baptism with water points to
how we need God to wash away our sins. Water baptism doesn’t save, we need God to do the work of salvation,
the work of cleansing those who He has saved from their sins.

John (the Baptist) answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one
mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize
you with the Holy Ghost and with fire. (Luke 3:16-17)

We have spent a lot of time talking about works and salvation, but it is very important to understand that the
Bible teaches us that we can in no way contribute to our salvation. All churches teach to varying degrees that we
can make a contribution to being saved which might include baptism, accepting Christ, praying a sinners prayer,
reciting a creed, being a member and attending church, confessing Christ, saying they believe in God, repenting,
etc. Most churches teach that a person has a free will and can decide whether or not they want to accept Christ
into their lives.

But the Bible is clear, the only way we can receive God is if He chose us before the foundation of the world. He
gave power to become the sons of God through His will, not the will of man. We do have a free will to make
decisions in our lives, but we can’t make a decision for Christ, we do not have a free will to decide if we want to
be saved. Through our pride we might think that it is up to us to accept Christ and be saved, but the Bible
teaches that the only ones who are given a saving faith in Christ are those who the Father draws to Him. Like a
corpse, the unsaved are spiritually dead and therefore cannot do anything to contribute to their salvation.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them
gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were
born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:11-13)

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up
at the last day. (John 6:44)

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2)

Any doctrine that is not the doctrine of the Bible is a false doctrine, it is not following the God of
the Bible. The Bible does not allow for private interpretation, there can be only one true
interpretation which is found by comparing Scripture with Scripture, and by God opening our
spiritual eyes so that we can understand His truth.

It is through the pride of mankind that people believe they’re contributing to their own salvation. Any doctrine
where mankind contributes towards their salvation robs God of the glory. It is God, and God alone, who does
the work of salvation. We need to set pride aside and should be humbly crying out to God that He might save us
from His wrath, the eternal death we deserve because of our sins against God.

I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to
graven images. (Isaiah 42:8)

- 44 - may21-2011.com
Only those who God has chosen, His elect, will be given a true, saving faith from God. God’s
chosen people will have a strong desire to follow His Word and will trust that God did all of the
work for their salvation.

Those saved from God’s wrath through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ will want to follow sound doctrine and be
ready to correct their beliefs as God reveals truth from the Bible. However, the unsaved are not given a saving
faith and will be blinded to the truth. They might think they are following the God of the Bible and think their
belief in God will save them, but unless God grants them the undeserved gift of salvation they will not have a
saving faith; they remain as unbelievers in the eyes of God.

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the God of this world hath
blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who
is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4)

Believing is a work, and only those who God gave the faith to believe are the saved believers. We can believe
that God created the world, we can believe that Jesus paid the penalty for sins, we can believe that Christ will
come in judgment on May 21, 2011, but this doesn’t save us. Even the devils believe in Christ. We are only
saved by the faith of Christ, and after God gives His elect a new resurrected soul, they will have a saving belief in
God – not by their works, but only by God’s underserved mercy.

And as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. (Acts 13:48b)

These are difficult teachings but this is what God is declaring in the Bible. The booklet “I Hope God Will Save
Me” (see Appendix A) provides additional information from the Bible on what it means to believe and how God
did all of the work of salvation for those who He chose to save.

26. The Demonstration

Through careful study of the Bible, as God opens our spiritual eyes, we can know that Jesus Christ was slain
(sacrificed) before the world was created and that is when He made the payment for the sins of His chosen
people.

...the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8b)

For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they
shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
(Hebrews 4:3)

So what occurred on April 1, 33 AD, Passover Day, when Jesus was crucified on the cross? Only in these latter
days has God made it clear through the Bible that all of work of salvation was performed by Christ before the
world was created. Christ was the Passover Lamb, the perfect sacrifice, who endured God’s wrath for the sins of
those whom God chose to save from before the foundation of the world. The payment had to have been made
before the world was created, otherwise no one living in Old Testament times prior to Christ’s crucifixion could
have been saved.

Without (the) shedding of blood is no remission. (Hebrews 9:22b)

For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made
the righteousness of God in him. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

- 45 - may21-2011.com
The cross was a demonstration of how Jesus, before the creation of the world, paid for the sins of
His chosen people by becoming the sacrificial Lamb in their place.

An example that shows how Christ demonstrated making payment for the sins of His elect can be seen in Luke 23
where Christ told the thief crucified on His right that he would be with Christ in paradise that day. If Christ was
making actual payment for sins He would have had to die in both body and soul, but from this account we know
that only His body died and rose again on Easter Sunday; His soul existence was in heaven (paradise) after His
physical body died.

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shall thou be with me in paradise. (Luke
23:43)

Jesus was and is eternal God, without beginning and without end. Our feeble minds cannot understand an
infinite, eternal God, but we are to trust the Bible where it teaches that Jesus was slain to pay for the sins of His
people, and then resurrected to life to conquer death and declared to be the Son of God, all before the creation
of the world.

And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the
resurrection from the dead. (Romans 1:4)

God through the Bible instructs us that there is one God with three distinct persons in the Godhead: The Father,
Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus told us that anyone who has seen Him has seen the Father. God is without beginning
and without end. There are three persons yet one God. Our minds cannot understand God, and we cannot
comprehend how eternal God poured out His wrath on eternal God. Jesus, who never ceased to be God, was
killed by God to make payment for the sins of His chosen people, and then raised to life and declared to be the
Son of God, all before the creation of the world. Then, on April 1, 33 AD, out of His love He endured the physical
agony on the cross just to demonstrate to us the terrible, horrific sacrifice He made.

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. (2 Corinthians 9:15)

Most people have been taught that God made the payment for sins while on earth, but we are to trust what the
Bible teaches us, and we need to let God through the Bible correct our past misunderstandings and beliefs.
Jesus did the work of providing eternal life to His elect before the world began, and manifested (made known)
His sacrifice for their sins while on earth as the Son of Man.

(God) Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but
according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world
began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath
abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. (2 Timothy
1:9-10)

The payment demanded by God for sin is the death of both the body and soul. Christ paid the
penalty by being a substitute for His chosen people and incurring God’s wrath for their sins before
the world was created.

Sometime in their lifetime God gives each saved believer a new, resurrected soul that will never die. Although a
saved person has a sinful body that can die, they are guaranteed eternal life with Christ. If they die before
Judgment Day, their soul will be with the Lord the moment their body dies. On May 21, 2011 the elect, which

- 46 - may21-2011.com
includes those who are alive and those who previously died, will be given new glorified bodies that will be united
with their eternal souls. This is difficult to understand, but we need to trust what God teaches in the Bible.

Chapter 4 of the booklet “To God Be the Glory” (see Appendix A) instructs us from the Bible how we can know
that Jesus paid for the sins of His chosen people before the world was created, and how He demonstrated on the
cross the sacrifice He made for His elect, and how His body was resurrected on Easter Sunday to demonstrate His
victory over death.

27. What is Hell?

Another Biblical teaching that we were not able to understand until God unsealed the Bible and opened our
spiritual eyes is that hell is the grave. It is commonly taught that hell is punishment that goes on eternally,
forever and ever. Terms from the Bible like “fire and brimstone”, “lake of fire”, “unquenchable fire” and “smoke
of their torment” are used to describe hell. But through careful study of the Bible, we now know that hell is not
a place of fire and torment, rather it is eternal (final) death and total annihilation, and those cast into hell (the
unsaved) will have no possibility of salvation ever again. They are eternally damned and destroyed and will
never again have a conscious existence. Many will dismiss this teaching because it is not what they’ve been
taught. However, we need to let the Bible correct our beliefs and understanding, we shouldn’t allow the sin of
pride to cause us to cling to past beliefs.

Before the foundation of the world Christ was slain as the sacrifice of sins for a remnant of people, His chosen
and His elect, sparing them from the punishment of eternal death. The elect will receive the undeserved
inheritance of eternal life with God. But for the unsaved, the punishment for sin is death and the grave. God is a
merciful God, He does not eternally punish and torment the unsaved in a place called hell.

In Deuteronomy 25 God shows us how He instructed that punishment be limited, a person could be punished by
no more than 40 stripes, or floggings with a rod. God is a merciful God, and while God’s law demands that sin
must be punished by death, God takes no pleasure in the death of the unsaved. In Luke 19 Jesus wept over
Jerusalem knowing that the people living in Jerusalem were unsaved and would be destroyed.

And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If though hadst
known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now
they are hid from thine eyes. (Luke 19:41-42)

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but
that the wicked turn from his way and live. (Ezekiel 33:11a)

When an unsaved person dies, the punishment is eternal destruction. They have not received the
inheritance of eternal life, and he or she will never again come to conscious existence.

The unsaved are shamed before God because of their sins; their punishment is they lost the inheritance of
reigning with God eternally in heaven. Their punishment is hell which in the original Hebrew and Greek of the
Bible means “the grave”. It has been incorrectly interpreted to mean a place where the unsaved will suffer
eternally, but God through the Bible is correcting this wrong interpretation.

In Jude God tells us that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah are suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. We know
that the fire went out within a few days after those cities were destroyed.

- 47 - may21-2011.com
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over
to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the
vengeance of eternal fire. (Jude 1:7)

Other places in the Bible speak of unquenchable fire, and the smoke of their torment ascending up day and
night. Through careful Bible study we know that eternal fire and unquenchable fire means that the punishment
is total annihilation and it is final. In other words, the unsaved are eternally destroyed and will never come to
conscious existence again. In Hebrews 12 we’re told that God is a consuming fire. Spiritually this means that the
fire will not be quenched, or put out; it is all consuming and final. The punishment is that the unsaved will never
exist again; they’ve lost the inheritance of reigning with Christ in heaven due to their rebellion against God.

In Revelation 14 God is telling us that there will be no rest day or night. This does not mean there will be eternal
tormenting; rather, it refers to the final five months of the earth’s existence beginning May 21, 2011 until
October 21, 2011. During this period there will be day and night, and as will be covered in the next section, the
unsaved who are living on May 21, 2011 will be under God’s wrath and anger until October 21, 2011 when the
heavens and earth will be eternally destroyed.

We know from the Bible that the traditional view of hell is bankrupt. Hell is the grave, it is not a
place of fire, brimstone, and eternal torment. God in His mercy will eternally destroy those who
He has not chosen to salvation, they will not be eternally tormented.

It is a comforting to know that while the unsaved have lost their inheritance due to sin, they will not be eternally
punished and tormented as has been commonly taught. Eternal punishment is an awful concept and is not in
agreement with what God is teaching in the Bible. In 2 Peter 3 we’re told that the heavens will pass away and
the earth will be burned up, this will be the final end to all of the unsaved. Those chosen by God (the elect)
whose sins have been covered by the sacrifice of Christ will be eternally reigning with God in a new heaven and
earth. The non-elect will be destroyed, they will be cast into the lake of fire and will be annihilated, this is the
second death.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was
not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:14-15)

God in His mercy does not eternally punish those who He did not save. Those who will have died prior to May
21, 2011 will not be resurrected to life in order to be judged; when they sinned they had already been judged
and have lost the inheritance of eternal life with Christ. The unsaved who are still alive on May 21, 2011 will face
five months of God’s judgment and wrath for their sin, but they too will die and will never have conscious
existence again; they will be annihilated in the lake of fire, the second death.

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which
is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28)

Chapter 3 of the booklet “To God Be the Glory” (see Appendix A) provides additional information on what the
Bible teaches about hell and the grave.

28. May 21, 2011 To October 21, 2011 – Five Months of Horror

As God destroyed the inhabitants of the world in 4990 BC by a worldwide flood, He is also going to destroy the
world 7,000 years later beginning on May 21, 2011, the Day of Judgment. In other places of the Bible God has
used the word “day” to signify a period of time rather than a literal day. For example, in Genesis 2 God refers to

- 48 - may21-2011.com
the six days of creation as the day He made the earth and heavens. This shows how we need to let the Bible be
its own interpreter, a day can mean a period of time and not just a single day.

In Revelation 9 the Bible tells us that Judgment Day will be a 5 month period. Through careful study of the Bible
we now know that Judgment Day will begin on May 21, 2011 and end exactly five months later, on October 21,
2011 which will be the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles in 2011. The Feast of Tabernacles is the only feast
that has not yet been fulfilled. Other feasts which pointed to future events, such as Pentecost and the Feast of
Atonement, have been fulfilled. October 21, 2011 will be the fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles. It will be
the day that the heavens and the earth will be destroyed by fire.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass
away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the
works that are therein shall be burned up. (2 Peter 3:10)

On Judgment Day, May 21, 2011, God through the Bible is telling us there will be a tremendous earthquake like
the world has never seen before.

And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as
was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake and so great. (Revelation
16:18)

God’s elect people, those He chose to save from before the foundation of the world, will be raptured, or caught
up in the air, and will be given new resurrected bodies and receive the undeserved inheritance of eternal life
reigning with Christ in heaven forever.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the
earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and
great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather
together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matthew 24:30-
31)

Those who are not raptured and remain on earth, the non-elect, will face five months of God’s
wrath. This will be a time of horror and sorrow. There will be death everywhere.

The worldwide earthquake will cause great damage. God will use the earthquake to open the graves, and
whatever is left of the bodies of the unsaved throughout the earth’s 13,023 year history will be thrown from the
graves and be shamed before God. The Bible is clear that the dead will not be resurrected to life, their remains
will be resurrected to their final shame before being destroyed with the rest of the world on October 21, 2011.
These are difficult teachings that have not been previously taught, but it is what God is telling us through the
Bible which He recently unsealed.

As previously mentioned, it is stated in Genesis 7 that the water from the Flood of Noah’s day covered the entire
world for 150 days. In the calendar of Noah’s day each month was 30 days, so the earth was completely under
water for five months (5-judgment/salvation). Not coincidentally, the Day of Judgment, the period from May 21,
2011 to October 21, 2011, is 153 days which is exactly five months.

And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five
months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
(Revelation 9:5)

- 49 - may21-2011.com
The number 5 is associated with Christ’s atonement where Christ came to save His elect and judge the non-elect.
Like Noah and his family being in the safety of the ark, those who God has chosen will be in the safety of Christ
and will not perish during the 5 months of judgment on earth.

WARNING: The unsaved who are alive on May 21, 2011 will face five months of chaos,
pestilence, starvation, terror and horror beyond imagination. This is not speculation, it is not
someone’s interpretation, it is not someone’s prophecy. This is from the Bible, found by
comparing Scripture with Scripture. God is giving us warning of the five months of torment that
will come to the non-elect who are alive on May 21, 2011.

The end is come upon the four corners of the land. Now is the end come upon thee, and I will
send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense
(pay) upon thee all thine abominations (evils). And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I
have pity. (Ezekiel 7:2b-4a)

Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none. (Ezekiel 7:25)

They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented (mourned); neither shall they be
buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth. (Jeremiah 16:4a)

That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a
day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness… And I will bring distress
upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord: and
their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. (Zephaniah 1:15, 17)

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord’s wrath; but
the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy
riddance of all them that dwell in the land. (Zephaniah 1:18)

In those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall
flee from them. (Revelation 9:6)

And they gnawed their tongues for pain, and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their
pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. (Revelation 16:10b-11)

God gave the prophet Daniel a vision of what would occur during the 5 month Day of Judgment, and Daniel was
horrified and sickened by what he saw.

And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up
the vision; for it shall be for many days. And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days;
afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none
understood it. (Daniel 8:26-27)

God is a jealous God, He alone should be receiving all the glory, but man wants to be in control
and take glory from God.

God created mankind to be perfect and in His own image, yet we rebelled. All have sinned against God, there
are none who are righteous. Mankind creates idols and false religions out of pride, it is a way to show how they
can make a contribution towards their salvation. Most Christians follow a gospel where they do something to
contribute towards their salvation such as water baptism or thinking they have free will where they can choose
whether or not they want to accept Christ.

- 50 - may21-2011.com
Although everyone deserves to die because of their sins, in His mercy God has saved a remnant for Himself. His
elect will receive the undeserved inheritance of eternal life with God. The unsaved who will be alive on
Judgment Day, May 21, 2011, will be under God’s wrath for their sins and for not obeying and worshipping the
God of the Bible. God will pour out His wrath to the unsaved to demonstrate that He, and He alone, is the true
God.

And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken
me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.
(Jeremiah 1:16)

Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more. Go and
cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.
(Judges 10:13-14)

Beginning on May 21, 2011, the beginning of Judgment Day and the end of The Great Tribulation, there will be
no more possibility of salvation.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall
not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be
shaken. (Matthew 24:29)

This is spiritual language, Revelation 14 declares that there will be day and night during the five months of
torment. The sun refers to God, the light of the world, and the moon represents the law, the reflection of God’s
glory, and the stars represent the institutional churches.

VERY IMPORTANT: The Great Tribulation ends on May 21, 2011 and after that there will be no
possibility of salvation. Now is the time of salvation. That is why it is extremely important to seek
the God of the Bible and cry out to God for mercy. In fact, NOTHING Is More Important!

Behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2b)

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near. (Isaiah 55:6)

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness. (Matthew 6:33a)

A broken and a contrite (penitent, sorrowful) heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. (Psalm
51:17b)

Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the Lord understand all things. (Proverbs
28:5)

God is merciful and will limit the torment of the unsaved to no more than five months. By careful study of the
Bible we now know there is not a place called hell where there is eternal punishment. On October 21, 2011 the
heavens and earth will be burned up and forever destroyed. Those who God has saved will reign forever with
Christ in a new heaven and new earth. The unsaved will be destroyed and never again experience conscious
existence. Their deaths are eternal, they will be consumed by a fire that won’t be quenched (extinguished).

The booklet “To God Be the Glory” (see Appendix A) has information on hell and on Judgment Day events. You
are encouraged to carefully study the booklet and check out the teachings with the Bible, the only source of
truth.

29. The Churches

Following Christ's crucifixion and resurrection in 33 AD, God abandoned the Nation of Israel as the caretaker of
His Word and began using churches as caretakers of the Bible. The institutional church age began on Pentecost
Sunday on May 22, 33 AD. As recorded in Acts 2, on Pentecost Day the disciples preached the Gospel and over
3,000 were saved by the Holy Spirit. This was the fulfillment of the Old Testament Feast of Pentecost where the
Jews brought the first fruits of the harvest to the temple. Pentecost foreshadowed the New Testament church
age. Churches were established to bring in the first fruits of God’s harvest of saved believers, a period referred
to as the Early Rain.

As caretakers of the Bible, the institutional churches were responsible for following the Great
Commission and spreading the Gospel throughout the world.

During most of the church age, many people were illiterate and Bibles were scarce, so God used preachers,
teachers and missionaries in the churches to spread the Gospel. In more recent times the churches translated
the Bible into many languages and distributed Bibles throughout the world in the local languages. Even though
the church teachings were usually not faithful to God’s Word, the people in the churches were under the hearing
of the Bible, and faith comes by hearing. God used the churches as the instrument to spread the Gospel so that
those He elected to salvation throughout the world would be under the hearing of His Word.

It should be pointed out that God makes a distinction between the institutional churches and God’s eternal
church. The institutional churches are the church buildings, church members, pastors, leaders, synods,
denominations, etc. that can physically be seen. The eternal church cannot be seen; it is spiritual, it is made up
Christ, the head of the eternal church, and the souls of the saved believers. Christ compares His intimate
relationship with the eternal church as the relationship of a bride and groom where the eternal church,
comprised of the saved believers, is the bride of Christ, and Christ is the groom.

And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all. (Ephesians 1:22-23)

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. (1
Corinthians 3:16)

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his
wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen,
clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write,
Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. (Revelation 19:7-9a)

The institutional church age began on May 22, 33 AD on Pentecost Sunday and ended on May 21, 1988, the day
before Pentecost in 1988 and the first day of the 23 year Great Tribulation. The year 1988 also marked the
13,000 anniversary of the world. The church age lasted 1,955 years to the very day. The number 1,955 breaks
down into the spiritually significant numbers of 5 x 17 x 23 (5-salvation/judgment, 17-heaven, 23-judgment).
The churches were instruments that God used to bring both salvation to the wheat (the saved) and judgment to
the tares (the unsaved). God’s Word was read in the churches and in Hebrews 4 His Word was compared to a
two-edged sword, it both saves and it condemns.

In chapters 2 and 3 in the book of Revelation, God used seven early churches as historic parables showing the
falling away of the churches from the true Gospel. The church age had a great beginning with 3,000 people
being saved on Pentecost Sunday, but before the Bible was completed around 95 AD the churches were already
in trouble with God. In Revelation 2 and 3 God showed how the churches were losing their candlestick which is a

- 52 - may21-2011.com
reference to losing the true Gospel, the spiritual light of the world. In fact, God called the church at Smyrna the
synagogue of Satan!

I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, but thou art rich and I know the blasphemy of
them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. (Revelation 2:9)

And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and
of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the
earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. (Revelation 18:23)

It may be surprising to learn that God, through the Bible, has a lot to say about the New
Testament churches. A majority of the Old Testament, especially the books of Jeremiah, Ezekiel,
Amos and Isaiah, are historical parables which contain information that is very significant and
relevant to us today.

God wrote the books of Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah and other books in the Bible in a complex and confusing way to
hide meaning, and during the church age these Old Testament books were largely ignored. But in these last
days, God has unsealed the Bible and is teaching us what is taking place during The Great Tribulation including
what is occurring in the churches. In fact, the book of Jeremiah has been referred to as “a newspaper for our
day” because the prophesies in Jeremiah are unfolding in the churches. Careful study of the Old Testament
books shows how God used the Nation of Israel to convey to us what is occurring in the churches today. In other
words, the historical events of Israel recorded in the Bible are historical parables that have direct significance to
us today.

In the Old Testament we can see that God used the Nation of Israel as the custodian of His Holy Word for 1,480
years inclusive, from 1447 BC when God gave the Israelites the Ten Commandments to the time of the cross in
33 AD. God gave favor and blessings to the Nation of Israel, but many Israelites rebelled against God. They
followed heathen gods, worshiped idols, were ungrateful for the blessings and protection God gave them, and
they ignored His Word. In fact, the Book of the Law (the partially completed Bible of their day) was completely
abandoned and was rediscovered years later when King Josiah ordered that the Temple be repaired.

For great is the wrath of the Lord that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not
hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning
us. (2 Kings 22:13b)

God was very patient with Israel. It was His plan to use Israel as the external representation of
the Kingdom of God until 33 AD. We’re told in the Bible that only a remnant, a small number, of
Israelites were saved.

For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet (only) a remnant of them shall return.
(Isaiah 10:22a)

So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day and forward. And
the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity; because
they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of
their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. (Ezekiel 39:22-23)

For 1,955 years, from 33 AD to 1988, God used the institutional churches as the spiritual representation of His
Kingdom. But as foreshadowed in Jeremiah, Revelation, and many other books of the Bible, we can see how the

- 53 - may21-2011.com
churches have fallen away from the true Gospel. The Nation of Israel is a historic parable that shows us, from
the Bible, how God has abandoned the institutional churches in 1988 just as He abandoned Israel as the
caretakers of His Word in 33 AD.

30. Come Out of Her My People

Although Satan has been very active throughout the 1,955 year institutional church age, God restrained Satan
and a remnant of people in the churches were saved, the first fruits of the Early Rain. However, beginning on
May 21, 1988, the start of The Great Tribulation, just as God abandoned the Nation of Israel, the Bible shows us
that God was finished using the churches as caretakers of the Bible, and the churches came under His judgment.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God. (1 Peter 4:17a)

The judgment process as described in Matthew 13 is the separation of the wheat representing the saved
believers, from the tares (or weeds) representing the unsaved. Prior to the end of the church age, God tolerated
having both saved believers and the unsaved in the churches.

IMPORTANT: But now during The Great Tribulation God has commanded the true believers to
leave the churches, the light of the Gospel is no longer there. Just as God abandoned Israel as the
caretakers of His Word, beginning on May 21, 1988 God has also abandoned the churches as the
caretakers of the Bible.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not
partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto
heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. (Revelation 18:4-5)

The plagues refer to the horrors that will occur beginning on Judgment Day, May 21, 2011 for those who are not
saved. In Matthew 24, God is commanding the true believers to flee from the perceived safety of the church to
the safety of God.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
stand in the holy place, whoso readeth, let him understand: Then let them which be in Judaea
flee into the mountains. (Matthew 24:15-16)

The abomination of desolation refers to Satan who is evil (abomination) and is void of the truth of the Gospel
(desolation). The holy place refers to the churches because they were assigned to be the caretakers of the Bible,
the Holy Word of God. The reference to Judaea associates the churches to the children of Israel who resided in
the land of Judah which includes the city of Jerusalem. The true believers are commanded to flee from the
churches into the mountains – the mountains spiritually represent the safety of Christ.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. (Psalms 121:1)

As described in a previous section, there were two tribulation periods in the Old Testament that were historical
parables foreshadowing the present Great Tribulation. All three tribulation periods involved fleeing from an
external representation of heaven. The first tribulation was the 7 year famine from 1879 BC to 1872 BC where

- 54 - may21-2011.com
God told Jacob to flee the land of Canaan in 1877 BC. The land of Canaan was the external representation of
heaven.

The second tribulation was 70 years from 609 BC to 539 BC where God through the prophet Jeremiah warned
the Israelites in the land of Judah that they were to be taken captive by the Babylonians when Jerusalem was
destroyed by the Babylonians in 587 BC. Solomon’s temple was in Jerusalem and it was also destroyed.
Jerusalem was the external representation of heaven, and those who obeyed God allowed the Babylonians to
take them out of Jerusalem as captives; they were spared from the destruction in Judah.

The current Great Tribulation will be 23 years from May 21, 1988 to May 21, 2011. During The Great Tribulation
God is commanding people to flee from their churches; the churches were the external representation of heaven
because the churches were the caretakers of the Bible.

Just as God abandoned the Nation of Israel as caretakers of His Word in 33 AD, now that we are in the Great
Tribulation we can see through careful study of the Bible that on May 21, 1988 God has abandoned the churches
as caretakers of the Bible. The true believers are commanded to flee from the churches. This is an astonishing
teaching, especially for those who are members of a church, but this is what God is declaring in the Bible, the
only source of truth.

People feel safe and secure in their churches. They are hearing a message of hope and forgiveness. They are
hearing that Jesus saved them and they will have eternal life with Christ. They are hearing the Bible being read
and sermons being preached. They have family and good friends in their church. Their church is involved in
charity such as feeding the poor. Church members feel that all is well.

The majority of people in the churches will immediately dismiss this teaching. God would never
command them to leave their church, would He?

The Great Tribulation is a time of sorrow and anguish, and it is a time of testing. The Bible teaches how in these
end times judgment must begin with the house of the Lord. It also teaches that Satan would be seated in the
holy place (the churches) showing himself as God, people will be given great delusion, and that Satan’s
ministering spirits would be transformed into angels of light. This may be a very uncomfortable teaching, but it
is what God is declaring in the Bible.

Each of three tribulations had a division point: The first was in 1877 BC, the second in 587 BC, and during The
Great Tribulation it occurred in 1994 AD. These three division points are linked to the number 1,290 as
prophesized in Daniel 12, and the number 1,290 breaks down to 2 x 3 x 5 x 43 (2-Gospel, 3-purpose, 5-
atonement, 43-judgment).

And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh
desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. (Daniel 12:11-12)

In the New Testament the churches were the external representation of heaven because the churches were the
caretakers of the Word of God. The Great Tribulation was divided into two parts, the first being the 2,300 days
from May 21, 1988 to September 7, 1994. During this period God cleansed the sanctuary which means He began
His judgment of the world in the churches.

- 55 - may21-2011.com
Then beginning in 1994 God began saving again, but the great multitude that are being saved are being saved
outside the churches. The churches are under God’s judgment and we are told to flee from the churches just as
Jacob had to flee Canaan, a representation of the kingdom of God, in 1877 BC; and just as the Israelites were
taken captive from Jerusalem in 587 BC where Jerusalem was an external representation of the kingdom of God.

Why would God instruct us to abandon the churches? Just as many Israelites in the Old Testament
put their trust in their sacrifices and their observance of the ceremonial laws, the churches are
also following works-based doctrines that are not faithful to God’s Word.

They sought it (righteousness) not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they
stumbled at that stumblingstone. (Romans 9:32b)

All churches have a works-based, do-it-yourself gospel where someone has to perform an action in order to
contribute to their salvation. God is a jealous God. Trusting in works to get oneself saved robs God of His glory.
Only God can do the work of salvation, we are dead in our sins, there is nothing we can do to get ourselves
saved.

Works do not contribute towards salvation, yet they are part of church doctrines in varying degrees, include
trusting in water baptism for salvation, praying a sinners prayer, accepting Christ into your heart, believing
salvation is obtained through the Lord’s Supper, being a pastor or Bible teacher, doing good works, living a moral
life, and believing in a free will doctrine where someone can choose to accept or reject Christ on their own terms
rather than giving God all of the glory for the work of salvation. God is a jealous God, He did all of the work of
salvation, but out of pride, people want to feel that they’ve made a contribution towards their salvation which
robs God of all of the glory.

I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to
graven images. (Isaiah 42:8)

Without exception, there is no church today that is faithfully listening to the entire Bible. Each
church has its own salvation program. Just as the Nation of Israel fell under God’s wrath, today
the churches are under the wrath of God, they are not following the God of the Bible.

Any salvation program that involves work that an individual needs to perform in order to be saved is a false
gospel. God has made it very clear that we are not saved by our works. We are not to trust in church doctrines,
creeds, and teachings; our trust needs to be in what the Bible declares, God’s Word is the only authority.

IMPORTANT: Anyone who is not following the God of the Bible is following a false religion and
will come under the wrath of God. There is only one truth, and that is the truth of the Bible as
found by following the Biblical rules of comparing Scripture with Scripture, looking for the spiritual
meaning, and praying to God to open our spiritual eyes.

These are astonishing teachings, especially for those who are members of a church. But this is what God is
declaring in the Bible, the only source of truth. Tribulation is associated with sorrow. During this Great
Tribulation period, God is no longer saving those who are in the churches. All churches have a do-it-yourself
gospel where members do something to contribute to their salvation. Any contribution we make towards our
salvation robs God of the glory. Any salvation program that does not harmonize with the Bible, the Holy Word of
God, is a false gospel. God did all of the work of salvation, we’re to wait on Him with the hope of salvation –
there is nothing we can do to contribute towards our salvation.

- 56 - may21-2011.com
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my
salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock
of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your
heart before him: God is a refuge for us. (Psalm 62:5-8)

God instructs us to cry out to Him for mercy and salvation. Pleading for mercy does not get us saved, but it does
put us in an environment where God might save if it is His will. Our hope is in God, but only God does the work
of salvation for those He has chosen. We are to wait upon God, He alone is the source of our salvation.

31. Today’s Churches

Anyone who has been observing churches for a period of time has witnessed significant changes over the past 20
or 30 years. The music is different, the preaching is different, personal behavior of those who attend is different.
The following is taking place in today’s churches in varying degrees from church to church:

 A decline in reverence towards God in the worship services.

 Preaching political and social justice messages from the pulpit.
 Preaching prosperity messages on how God will materially bless you if you accept Him into your life.
 Preaching uplifting messages on how God loves everybody and how ”God has a plan for you” rather than
teaching Biblical warnings about sin, God’s curse on the world, God’s judgment and damnation.
 Becoming entertainment oriented including interjecting comedy and entertaining stories in the worship
services.
 Worshipping with music that is patterned after the music of the world rather than music that is prayerful and
God glorifying. Often times the music is shallow in spiritual content and is used to entertain rather than truly
worship God.
 Being careless with the Word of God, not faithfully following the God of the Bible, and dogmatically following
established doctrines of the church rather than diligently studying God’s Word for correction of doctrines
that do not harmonize with the entire Bible.
 Not recognizing the absolute authority of the Bible but rather elevating the church as the authority.
 Interpreting the Bible to teach what they want it to say and to believe what they want to believe rather than
making sure every teaching harmonizes with the entire Bible.
 Trying to fit into the world, including compromising God’s Word to conform to worldly beliefs such as
evolution and the message that “all paths lead to God”.
 Accepting worldly practices such as remarrying those who are divorced.
 Not following God’s rule where, according to 1 Corinthians 14 and 1 Timothy 2, women are not to have
spiritual authority over men and lead worship services. This includes woman being pastors as well as
women members reading the scripture lessons to the congregation. God gave women the privilege of child
bearing and has instructed that men lead the worship services. Women pastors and women leading worship
are prevalent in most churches, a violation of God’s Word.
 Church member behavior is for the most part indistinguishable from non-Christian behavior with sinful
practices including divorce, adultery, cohabitation without marriage, homosexuality, sexual perversion,
taking the name of the Lord in vain, cheating, pride, and other sins.
 Disregard for the Sunday Sabbath. God has set aside Sunday as the New Testament Sabbath, a day that
should be devoted to the Lord. Instead, for a number of people, worship is something “to get over with” for
the week, and most churches offer services on Saturday so that members have Sunday free for their own
pleasure (see Isaiah 58:13-14).
 Using the ceremonial practices of baptism and the Lord’s Supper as a means to become right with God and
to be in the presence of God. Like Old Testament ceremonial laws, baptism and the Lord’s Supper were

- 57 - may21-2011.com
intended to be signs – baptism points to Christ washing away sins, and the Lord’s Supper was a way to
remember the sacrifice Christ made for His elect. Getting baptized and taking Holy Communion are works
and are not a means of salvation as is taught in many churches; God did all of the work of salvation (see Luke
3:16-17).
 Using signs and wonders, speaking in tongues and other means of divine messages to supplement God’s
Word, a violation of God’s command to not add to the words of the Bible. Before the Bible was completed
God spoke through the prophets and spoke through tongues. But when the Bible was completed around 95
AD, the Bible became the only way God speaks to us (see Revelation 22:18-19). Signs and wonders and
speaking in tongues are messages that are not from God.
 And finally, as presented in the previous section, all churches have a do-it-yourself gospel where individuals
make a contribution to their salvation rather than giving God all of the glory. This has been prevalent
throughout the church age, but in recent times churches have been focusing on getting baptized in order to
be saved, and teaching that individuals having a free will to decide whether or not they choose to be saved.

Churches are faithful to their doctrines and not the Bible. They use Bible verses to support their doctrines which,
in some churches, go back hundreds of years and have not changed. Pastors are taught church doctrines in their
seminaries and that is the framework for their teaching and preaching. Those in the churches are not diligently
searching the Bible for truth, they aren’t comparing Scripture with Scripture, and they are not correcting their
doctrines with the truth of the Bible, especially in these end times now that God has unsealed the Bible and is
pouring out information from the Bible that previously could not be understood.

During The Great Tribulation, the churches came under God’s judgment, and they are going
further and further away from the truth of the Bible. They are faithful to their church doctrines
and creeds, and they use Bible verses to support their doctrines rather than for correction.

The churches have twisted God’s word and have created a man-made, “do-it-yourself”, works-based gospel.
These are harsh teachings, but the Bible has declared that this would happen during the present Great
Tribulation.

For ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the Lord of hosts our God. (Jeremiah
23:36b)

This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they
worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the
commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men. (Mark 7:6b-8a)

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye
have received, let him be accursed. (Galatians 1:9)

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall
they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from
the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (2 Timothy 4:3-4)

The reference to itching ears in 2 Timothy 4 means that people gravitate to churches that teach
what they want to hear and believe. The churches are not fearing and trembling before God’s
Word, fearing that they might be teaching a gospel that is contrary to God’s Word.

And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. (Romans
3:17-18)

- 58 - may21-2011.com
Any gospel that is not the Gospel of the Bible is a false gospel just as the religions of Hinduism, Buddhism,
Mormonism, Islam, Judaism, idol worship, and atheism are false religions (atheism is a type of religion, a belief
that there is no god). Any belief that is not completely faithful to the God of the Bible is a false religion making
the followers subject to God’s wrath and destruction. However, there is still hope for those in a church or those
following any false religion. This is the day of salvation and God is saving a great multitude that no one can
number during this period of the Latter Rain and final harvest. Salvation from God is the only way possible to be
saved from destruction and be given the undeserved inheritance of eternal life with Christ.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but
by me. (John 14:6)

32. The Great Deceiver

One-third of the world’s population identifies themselves with a Christian church of some form or another.
There are a large number of mainline church denominations (Baptist, Roman Catholic, Methodist, Episcopalian,
Lutheran, United Church of Christ, Presbyterian, Reformed, Assembly of God, etc.) as well as many other
denominations plus many non-denominational churches. Each church believes that they have the truth.

Furthermore, the churches adamantly cling to their doctrines, some of which have been around for hundreds of
years, rather than correcting their creeds and doctrines. Instead of comparing scripture to scripture, churches
pick and choose verses in the Bible to support their teachings and doctrines.

IMPORTANT: All Bible verses used for teaching and instruction, including those presented in this
paper, need to harmonize with the other verses in the Bible. Any teaching that does not
harmonize with the entire Bible is a false gospel and is not of God.

God has opened the seals of the Bible, yet the churches are sticking with their past beliefs and interpretations
because that is what differentiates them from other churches and denominations. They are ignoring the
information God is pouring out of the Bible during this Latter Rain. When was the last time you heard a pastor,
priest or other church authority correct a past teaching? Those in the churches are blinded from these end time
revelations, God is not opening their spiritual eyes.

During the current Great Tribulation, God has removed Himself from the churches leaving Satan as the ruler of
the churches. The Bible teaches that Satan, the son of perdition (destruction) is sitting in the temple of God.
The temple is the church, and to be seated in the temple is to rule. Satan is ruling in the church, he is showing
himself as God.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling
away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. (2 Thessalonians 2:3)

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that
he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2 Thessalonians 2:4)

For those in the churches, it is very difficult to accept that Satan is ruling in the churches.

Church members sincerely believe that they have the truth, but there can only be one truth, and that is the truth
of the Bible as revealed by God to those whose spiritual eyes He has opened. The Bible is clear that beginning

- 59 - may21-2011.com
with The Great Tribulation, Satan began ruling in the churches. Churches are now under the authority of Satan
who is showing himself as God.

Satan is the ruler, and the ministers and teachers in the churches are transformed as ministers of righteousness.
In other words, by all appearances those in the churches believe they are worshipping God, but in reality they
are worshipping Satan!

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of
Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no
great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end
shall be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. (Matthew 24:11)

Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! Saith the Lord.
(Jeremiah 23:1)

How can that be? No Christian would willingly worship Satan. No pastor or Bible teacher in the church would
purposely lead the congregation in worshipping Satan. Those in the churches truly believe they are worshipping
the true God and that they are saved.

But God has given those in the churches a strong delusion, so those who are not following God’s
command to leave the churches continue to believe they are worshipping God, but they are
actually worshipping Satan.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. (2
Thessalonians 2:11)

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders;
insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Matthew 24:24)

As described in the account of Satan tempting Christ in Matthew 4, Satan used Bible verses to tempt Christ. In
the same manner, the Bible is being used in the churches to distort God’s true Word. Church members are
taught that if they do certain works like getting baptized, believing in Christ, accepting Christ, praying the sinners
prayer, having a free will to choose Christ, etc., then they will be saved, just as the Israelites believed they would
be saved by following the ceremonial laws and performing sacrifices. Church members are being taught that
God loves them and by taking certain actions God will save them. They believe that all is well. They believe
Christ will come unexpectedly as a thief in the night.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail
upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:4)

The Great Tribulation is a testing program. It is the 23 year period (23-judgment) where God is
preparing the world for judgment beginning with the churches. God’s chosen people who are in
the churches will obey His command and come out of the churches.

Beginning with the 6,100 day Latter Rain in 1994, the second part of The Great Tribulation, God is saving a great
multitude outside of the churches. Leaving a church doesn’t guarantee salvation, but it takes people out of an
environment where the gospel is distorted and Satan is unwittingly being worshiped.

- 60 - may21-2011.com
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and
kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with
white robes, and palms in their hands. (Revelation 7:9)

These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made
them white in the blood of the Lamb. (Revelation 7:14b)

The churches were the first to be called, that is, to be under the hearing of the Gospel. God commissioned the
churches to be caretakers of the Bible and to send out the Gospel to all the world. But beginning with The Great
Tribulation in 1988, God has abandoned the churches just as He abandoned the Israelites in the land of Judah in
the 70 year tribulation of 609 BC to 539 BC and as He abandoned the Nation of Israel as caretaker of His Word in
33 AD.

So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. (Matthew 20:16)

On the five month Day of Judgment beginning May 21, 2011, those who were worshipping in the churches will
be angry with God. In the spiritual language of Matthew 25 God is casting the unsaved into darkness, meaning
they never again will have the light of the Gospel.

And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing
of teeth. (Matthew 25:30)

There will be weeping due to the sadness church members will face when they realize they won’t be saved, and
gnashing of teeth showing their anger at God for not saving them. Those in the churches had truly believed that
they were going to inherit eternal life with Christ, but instead, beginning on May 21, 2011 they will face five
months of horror, destruction, starvation, pestilence and chaos during the 153 Day of Judgment, and then be
eternally destroyed on October 21, 2011.

Church members had thought they were children of God and that all was well. But God is a jealous God, and in
the churches people are being taught that they are contributing in getting themselves saved, such as having a
free will to choose God, accepting God into their hearts, getting saved through water baptism, saying a sinners
prayer, etc. God did all of the work of salvation, and He is saving those He chose before the foundation of the
world.

Any gospel where people contribute in even the slightest way towards getting themselves saved is
a false gospel, and the Bible is clear that those who follow false gospels will not inherit eternal life
with Christ.

Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that
doeth the will of my father which is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21a)

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesized in thy name? and in thy
name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I (Jesus)
profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:22-23)

Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! To what end is it for you? The day of the Lord is
darkness, and not light. (Amos 5:18)

The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. (Jeremiah 8:20)

There is a lot more that can be said about God’s judgment on the churches, the strong delusion God has put on
those in the churches, and God’s command to get out of the churches. The booklet “Wheat and Tares” and the

- 61 - may21-2011.com
book “The End of the Church Age and After” (see Appendix A) contain much more information on the end of the
age of the institutional churches. Also, an appendix in the book “The End of the Church Age and After” has a
good explanation of the teachings in the book of Revelation, a very difficult book to understand.

33. Is There Hope?

This paper presented a lot of information. This doesn’t mean that a saved person has to first understand
everything that God is teaching before God will save them. For example, the thief on the cross likely knew little
about Jesus, but Jesus saved him moments before he died. God is saving His chosen people while in the womb,
or moments before they die, or anywhere in between. God doesn’t require intellectual knowledge of his
salvation program; He is saving infants and people with mental handicaps as well as uneducated and educated
people. He might be saving those who are first hearing what He is revealing in the Bible as well as those who’ve
grown up with the Bible. He is saving people from all nations and ethnicities. God is not a respecter of persons,
His sheep will hear his voice. That is, God will save those He has elected even if they have very little or no
understanding.

Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the
world. (Matthew 25:34)

As can be read in the book of Jonah, under the command of God, Jonah warned the 120,000 people in the city of
Nineveh in Assyria that their city would be destroyed in forty days (40-testing). The Ninevites were heathens and
Israel’s enemy, and they had no prior knowledge of God. But when God through Jonah warned them they would
be destroyed in 40 days, they repented and humbled themselves before God. This historical parable, an actual
event, shows us that God wants us to repent and be humble; there’s no room for pride. Out of pride we might
think we’re already saved because our church assured us we were saved, or we might think we’re saved because
we had free will to choose Christ, or that we’ve lived a good life, or we’ve read the Bible, etc. The Ninevites
humbled themselves and repented, and God spared the city and saved His elect in Nineveh by giving them new
resurrected souls.

Crying out to God for mercy is illustrated in the historic parable of Mark 10 where a blind man cried to God for
mercy. God gave him his sight, and the man followed Jesus. The spiritual lesson is that we can cry to God but we
need God to give us spiritual eyes, and only His elect will have their spiritual eyes opened to God’s saving truth
and understanding.

Then opened he (Jesus) their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures. (Luke
24:45)

The Bible instructs us to plead to God for mercy, but crying out to God for salvation is a work and
we know we’re not saved by our works; there is nothing we can do to get ourselves saved.

Knowing that May 21, 2011 will be Judgment Day won’t save us. However, that doesn’t mean we should sit idly
by. God instructs us to humble ourselves, plead for mercy, pray, study His Word, and leave our church. While
these actions don’t get us saved, they are God’s commands that we must obey, and doing this puts us in an
environment where God will save because faith comes by hearing. God did all the work of salvation for those
who He has chosen.

Seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near. (Isaiah 55:6)

Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought (brought on) his judgment; seek
righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger.
(Zephaniah 2:3)

- 62 - may21-2011.com
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil
day. (Ephesians 6:13a)

The evil day and the day of the Lord’s anger in these verses refer to Judgment Day.

There are three types of people living in the world, 1) those who are not God’s elect and will not be saved, 2)
those who were chosen by God but have not yet been saved, and 3) those who were chosen by God and have
been spiritually reborn with a new resurrected soul. For those elected but not yet saved, God will give them a
new resurrected soul before they die or before Christ’s return on May 21, 2011, and the chosen will eternally
reign with Christ in a new heaven and new earth. Those who are not God’s elect will be eternally destroyed
(annihilated), they will not be living eternally in a place of torment called hell as is commonly taught.

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein
dwelleth righteousness. (2 Peter 3:13)

The booklet “I Hope God Will Save Me” and the booklet “To God Be The Glory“ (see Appendix A) contain
additional information from the Bible and the Bible alone on God’s salvation plan and end time events.

34. The Response of the Elect

Those who are saved are saved by the grace of God and not of their own works. No one can make any
contribution towards their salvation. However, after God does the work of salvation by giving the saved person
a new, risen eternal soul, the response of that person is to do good works. These good works don’t earn
salvation; rather, the saved believers have a strong desire to thank God and praise God, and to serve and obey
God and do good works out of their love for God. Bringing forth fruit is a spiritual reference to the harvest of
believers. The elect are saved through the spiritual water of the Gospel, both during the Early Rain (the church
age) and now during the Latter Rain which is rapidly coming to a close.

If ye love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:15)

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. (1 John 2:3)

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring
forth fruit. (John 15:16a)

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (Matthew 7:20)

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father
which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)

In addition to good works, God’s children also have a strong desire to pray to God, not just for our own needs but
we are also to pray others. Our desire is that God might save members of our family, our relatives, friends, and
even our enemies. What a privilege God gives us! Through prayer we can enter into the throne room of
Almighty God, the infinite creator and sustainer of the universe, earth, and all mankind. God promises to hear
our prayers and our pleas for mercy and salvation for ourselves and others.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your
requests be made known unto God. (Philippians 4:6)

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these
things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. (Luke 21:36)

- 63 - may21-2011.com
35. The Watchman

Those who are saved by God, His chosen people, are instructed to warn the world that judgment is near. As
mentioned in the previous section, the saved believers have a strong desire to do good works for God, not to get
themselves saved, but as a result of being saved. Warning the world that Judgment Day will be May 21, 2011 is a
work we do as part of the Great Commission where Jesus instructed Christians to preach the Gospel to all the
world.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark
16:15)

During the 1,955 years of the church age (May 22, 33 AD to May 21, 1988), God used the institutional churches
to spread the Gospel. Even though the churches weren’t faithful to God’s Word and perverted the doctrine of
the Bible with works-based gospels, nevertheless the Bible was read in the churches and those whom God had
chosen before the foundation of the world were under the hearing of the Gospel and were given a saving faith
by God’s grace.

Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17)

God gives a strong warning to those who know of His coming on May 21, 2011 but do not warn others. In earlier
sections we saw how we are to watch for His coming. God through the Bible tells us to warn others that the end
is near. In Hebrews 4 we’re told that God’s Word is like a two-edged that cuts both ways, it proclaims eternal
salvation to the elect, but it also proclaims eternal damnation to the unsaved.

If when he (the watchman) seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn
the people; then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the
sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. (Ezekiel 33:3-4)

We are commanded by God to warn others of Judgment Day. If people disregard the warning,
then we’ve done all we can do; we cannot argue anyone to salvation, it is God’s business who He
chooses. But if we know of Christ’s coming on May 21, 2011 and do not warn the world, then we
are disobeying God and will also come under His judgment.

But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not
warned; if the sword come, and take away any person from among them… his (the watchman’s)
blood will I require at the watchman’s hand. (Ezekiel 33:6)

God saves through His Word and He uses His chosen people to spread His Word. The vast majority of people who
hear about May 21, 2011 being Judgment Day will scoff at this warning and disregard it. This is especially true for
those in the churches – they are comfortable where they are, they are promised eternal life if they are baptized
and choose Christ, they feel they have peace and safety, and they believe Christ will come as a thief in the night.
Most in the churches are unwilling to listen to the Bible and correct any beliefs they have that aren’t faithful to
the Bible.

The prophet Jeremiah had the unhappy task of declaring to the Israelites in Jerusalem and the surrounding
nation of Judah that God was going to use the Babylonian armies to destroy the nation of Judah. Jeremiah is
known as the weeping prophet because it brought him no joy to preach judgment to Judah.

In our day, now that we are nearing the end of the Latter Rain, the evidence that judgment is near cannot be
denied, and we are to warn the world. Warning those in the churches that Judgment Day is near and that
judgment began with the house of God is the saddest possible task assigned by God to the saved believers.

- 64 - may21-2011.com
Those elected by God are warning their friends, loved ones, enemies and strangers, but most people will
disregard the warning that Judgment Day will be on May 21, 2011. They are enjoying the pleasures of the world
and don’t want the world to end.

Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come:
and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
(Revelation 14:7)

God has to open the spiritual eyes of those He chooses. There will be a relatively small number of people, a
remnant, who will hear this warning and want to know more about it. God’s chosen people will seek God and
plead to God for mercy – they will have a strong desire to understand what God is revealing from the Bible,
especially in these last days. Are you warning others about Judgment Day coming on May 21, 2011?

36. God’s Testing Program

Tribulation is associated with sorrow and anguish. It is not physical tribulation and persecution, rather, it is
spiritual sorrow. We are currently in the period of history known as The Great Tribulation, and as May 21, 2011
quickly approaches we are to warn the world of Christ’s coming. Sadly, most people will ignore these warnings –
the vast majority of people are comfortable with their current beliefs and the gods they have chosen whether it
be another religion, atheism (the belief there is no God), or a Christian religion that is not faithful to the God of
the Bible. But those who God has elected to salvation will hear His voice. God will save His chosen people
before they die or before May 21, 2011 after which there will no longer be the possibility of salvation.

In addition to sorrow, tribulation is also associated with testing. We are to use God’s Word the
Bible to test and examine ourselves to see if we might be one of God’s elect.

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith. (2 Corinthians 13:5a)

Give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.
(2 Peter 1:10b)

There are many false religions, false gospels and false prophets. God commands that we “try the spirits”, that is,
test any teachings, including what is presented in this paper, to see whether or not the teachings completely
harmonize with the Bible. We are to test ourselves to see if our beliefs and actions are in complete agreement
with God’s Word the Bible.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false
prophets are gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1)

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but
by me. (John 14:6)

 Do you believe that the entire Bible, in the original languages, is not from man but from the very lips of
Almighty God?
 Do you believe that the Bible, and the Bible alone, is the only authority and not your church, pastors, or any
other author or teacher?
 Do you believe the Bible is the only way God is speaking to us today, and not through dreams, visions and
speaking in tongues?
 Do you let the Bible be its own interpreter knowing that the Bible is not open to private interpretation?

- 65 - may21-2011.com
 Do you compare Scripture with Scripture to make sure you are following the entire Bible and that every
teaching harmonizes with the entire Bible?
 Are you praying to God for truth and understanding and to open your spiritual eyes?
 Are you willing to correct past beliefs as God reveals truth from the Bible?
 For those in the churches, are you leaving your church as commanded by God?
 Are you seeking God while He may be found? Are you humbling yourself before Him and pleading for mercy
and salvation as God commands?
 Do you have an intense desire to obey God? When you do fall into sin, do you beg God for forgiveness?
 With thanksgiving, do you let your requests be made known to God through prayer? Do you worship, praise
and thank God for all He has done?
 Are you obeying God’s command to be a watchman and to warn others of the coming Day of Judgment?
 Are you praying for others that God might save them?

37. Conclusion

As Judgment Day rapidly approaches, we’re finding that God is opening our eyes to much truth that had been
sealed in the Bible until these end times. By His mercy God has provided an overwhelming amount of evidence
and numerous, amazing proofs that May 21, 2011 will be Judgment Day. You are strongly encouraged to reread
the signs, clues and proofs shown in Section 18 of this paper. These time relationships can’t be coincidences.
God, the infinite creator of the universe, has designed a precise timeline for the world that no human could ever
devise.

God is warning the world through His Word the Bible. By God’s grace and mercy, we can know
the day of His return – He will not come as a thief in the night to those who are watching.

We now know that we are near the end of the 23 year (8,400 day) period of Great Tribulation. This period of
Latter Rain is the final harvest where God is saving a great multitude of people. Christ will return to gather his
elect on May 21st, 2011 and begin His Day of Judgment, a five month (153 day) period of horror and death for
those who are alive on May 21, 2011 but not saved. After this five month period God will destroy the heavens
and earth on October 21, 2011.

God has given us two time paths that point to May 21, 2011 being Judgment Day – the association of Judgment
Day with the worldwide flood of Noah’s day, and associating the Great Tribulation with the year 1994, the first
Jubilee Year that followed Israel becoming a nation again as foretold by Jesus. By His mercy God has given us
many tremendous, absolute proofs that the world’s timeline is accurate including the date of May 21, 2011 being
Judgment Day.

By God’s grace, prior to May 21, 2011 God is saving a great multitude that no one can number. We have learned
that before the creation of the world God chose a remnant for Himself who He will save from eternal death.
Even though God chose His elect before the world was created, He commands that we seek Him by reading the
Bible and making sure any teaching we receive and any beliefs we have are faithful to the Bible. God commands
us to humble ourselves and plead for mercy as the Ninevites did in Jonah’s day. Seeking God and pleading for
mercy will not get ourselves saved, but it does put us in an environment where God saves His chosen people.

No one is smart enough to understand the Bible by themselves. If we learn any truth from the Bible it is by the
mercy of God. We need God to open our spiritual eyes, we cannot come to truth on our own. If we are saved

- 66 - may21-2011.com
from God’s wrath and eternal death, it is only by the undeserved love of God. There is nothing we can do to get
ourselves saved, God does all of the work of saving His elect. God will only give a saving faith to His chosen
people.
He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
(John 8:47)

We should constantly be praying to God for truth and pleading to God for mercy. There are many who believe
they have the truth and that they are saved from eternal death, but in reality they don’t have truth and are
under the wrath of God. As recorded in I Thessalonians 5, they are the ones who believe they have peace and
safety and that Christ will come as a thief in the night – the Bible warns that sudden destruction will come on
them.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail
upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:4)

God is speaking to us through His Word, the Bible. He is commanding us to seek Him, we need to
be reading the Bible and pleading to God for salvation.

Any instruction we receive, including what is presented in this paper, must harmonize with the entire Bible.
Focus on the Bible, it is the Word of God, it is the only way God is speaking to us. We need to study the Bible
and trust it completely, looking for spiritual meaning and comparing Scripture with Scripture until God allows us
to arrive at truth. Do not put your trust in anything else.

They received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether
those things were so. (Acts 17:11)

Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
(Revelation 22:7)

The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly. (Zephaniah 1:14a)

Appendix A – References

This Appendix contains references to study material that can be used for further understanding of the Biblical
truths presented in this paper. Of course the ultimate reference is the Bible itself, the Word of God from the lips
of Almighty God. All study material must be faithful to the Bible. If any teaching does not harmonize with the
entire Bible then it is a false gospel that is not teaching God’s truth.

 The Bible (King James version) – The main reference must be the Bible, it is the ultimate source of truth and
the only authority because it is from the mouth of Eternal God. We are commanded to study the Bible,
comparing Scripture with Scripture, to arrive at truth. We are also to pray to God for wisdom and
understanding; He must open our spiritual eyes so that we can correctly understand what He is teaching
through His Word. As noted in this paper, the King James version of the Bible has been found to be the most
faithful English translation from the original languages of the Bible. We should be reading and studying the
Bible daily. That is how we seek the Lord while He may be found.

The following material is from Family Radio (see Appendix B) and is listed in a recommended reading order. All
of this material can be viewed online from the Literature page accessed from the FamilyRadio.com web site.
Printed material may be obtained free of charge by calling Family Radio at 1-800-453-1495.

 Judgment Day – A tract that summarizes truths about May 21, 2011 in a format that can readily be handed
out to others.

 I Hope God Will Save Me – A booklet describing God’s salvation plan as revealed in the Bible emphasizing
how the Bible declares that no one can make even the slightest contribution towards their salvation.

 To God Be the Glory – A booklet that focuses on new truths recently revealed in the unsealed Bible about
these end times, including Jesus coming as a demonstration, hell being the grave, and the 153 days of horror
as God pours out His wrath on the unsaved beginning on May 21, 2011 until the end of the world on October
21, 2011.

 We’re Almost There – A booklet that shows the dates and calculations made from information in the Bible to
prove that May 21, 2011 will be Judgment Day.

 The Biblical Calendar of History – A short paper that outlines the world’s history from a Biblical perspective
yet showing how the calendar harmonizes with secular historical events.

 The Wheat and the Tares – A booklet that describes how God allowed the saved and unsaved to coexist in
the churches until the beginning of the Great Tribulation at which point God began separating the wheat
(the saved) from the tares (the unsaved).

 The End of the Church Age and After – A book that goes into detail on how God abandoned the churches
and began preparing them for Judgment at the start of The Great Tribulation on May 21, 1988. [Note: This
book was written a few years ago which was prior to understanding Biblical truths about hell and damnation
that have only recently been revealed by God.]

bankrupt and how we can see from nature that only a wise and Almighty Creator, the God revealed to us
through the Bible, could have created this awesome universe, the world, and the life that inhabits the world.
You are encouraged to listen to the brief two minute “Creation Moments” – there are hundreds to choose
from – especially if you believe in the big bang theory and evolution. God’s intricate and complex design is
extremely remarkable; there is absolutely no way this world was formed by random chance over long
periods of time.

Appendix B – Family Radio

God has raised up Family Radio, a worldwide ministry devoted to sending out the Gospel message, to warn the
world that Judgment Day will be on May 21, 2011.

Family Radio is an independent, listener-sponsored, non-commercial, non-profit, non-denominational

organization not associated with any church or religious affiliation. Family Radio began in 1959 as a single radio
station in California and has grown to be a worldwide ministry sending out the Gospel on about 50 stations
across the United States, and worldwide in over 58 languages. Family Radio also has an extensive Internet
ministry, and they publish Bible-based tracts, books and booklets that can be viewed on their FamilyRadio.com
Internet site, or the material can be ordered free of charge by calling Family Radio at 1-800-453-1495.

Family Radio is dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel based solely on the teachings found in the Bible and not a
gospel devised by mankind. They strive to be as faithful as possible to the Bible using the Biblical rule of
comparing Scripture with Scripture to arrive at truth. Family Radio has often corrected what they are teaching as
God reveals new truth from the Bible, especially during these end times as God is pouring out new revelations
about Judgment Day, salvation, hell and damnation.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16)

- 69 - may21-2011.com
God is always in control, and over the past 100 years God has allowed incredible advancements in technology
including mass printing, radio broadcasting, computers and the Internet. In the past it was very difficult to
spread the Gospel message, but today God is using the Family Radio worldwide broadcasting ministry as well as
individuals to warn the world that May 21, 2011 will be Judgment Day. God saves by His Word, and God’s sheep
hear His voice and will respond to the Gospel call no matter where in the world they are located. God is using
His people and ministries like Family Radio to follow His command to preach the Gospel to all the world.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark
16:15)

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;
and then shall the end come. (Matthew 24:14)

This paper is not affiliated with Family Radio, but the Family Radio instructional material was used because it is
based on the truths of the Bible and the Bible alone – not by private interpretation, but by comparing Scripture
with Scripture (spiritual with spiritual).

A partial listing of Family Radio stations in the United States follows. Family Radio also broadcasts via shortwave
and overseas stations in over 58 languages.

Open Forum:
Each weekday from 8:30pm-10pm eastern, 7:30pm-9pm central, and 5:30pm-7pm pacific time, Family Radio
presents a live call-in show called Open Forum hosted by Harold Camping from Family Radio.

During the Open Forum anyone can call in to ask questions related to the Bible (1-800-322-5385). Callers are not
screened and they can ask questions on any topic. As one would expect, there are currently a lot of questions
being asked regarding May 21, 2011. Because Open Forum is out “in the marketplace”, if anything is taught that
does not harmonize with the Bible, others will call in and show from the Bible how the teaching is incorrect;
Family Radio then corrects its teachings accordingly. God declares that the Bible is for instruction and correction,
and the Open Forum is a way where Christians can make sure they are following the teachings of the God of the
Bible and not a gospel devised and interpreted by man as occurs with church doctrines.

You are challenged to listen to at least two or three Open Forum broadcasts and see if what you believe about
Christ and salvation is truly based on the Bible, especially as God is pouring out new truths now that He has
unsealed the Bible during this Great Tribulation period. You can also call in if you have a question or would like
to challenge a teaching.

An archive of previously aired Open Forum broadcasts can be found under the Audio Archives link on the
FamilyRadio.com web site. In addition, the Challenge tab on the may21-2011.com web site has a few previously
aired Open Forum broadcasts which were selected because they have a wide variety of interesting questions and
answers from the Bible. As you seek the God of the Bible, listen to Open Forum and check out what is being
taught with the Bible to see if it is God’s truth. The Bible is the only authority, it is God’s Word.

Appendix C – Additional Information

This Appendix contains information on various topics that was not presented elsewhere in this paper. The
material referenced in Appendix A can be used for further study. For example, an appendix in the book “The
End of the Church Age and After” has a good explanation of the teachings in the book of Revelation. Also, the
Dynamic Bible Query feature on the FamilyRadio.com web site is a useful tool for obtaining answers to Biblical
questions.

1. Many people believe that an Antichrist figure will appear before the Christ returns. In 1 John 4 it states that
the Antichrist was already present when the Bible was still being written. Because no human alive today
was present 2,000 years ago, this means the Antichrist must be Satan and the fallen angels.
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this
is the spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it
in the world. (1 John 4:3)

2. Revelation 16 mentions the Battle of Armageddon. This will not be a physical battle; rather it is a spiritual
battle. Satan is characterized as riding on a red horse representing death and Christ on a white horse
representing life. The Battle of Armageddon is the final condemnation of Satan and his followers where
Christ emerges victorious over death and the Devil.

3. The number 666, referred to as the mark of the beast, is found in Revelation 13. The whole chapter of
Revelation 13 deals with the current Great Tribulation where God’s judgment began with the churches
leaving Satan to rule in the churches. The number 666 identifies with those who claim they are a child of
God yet they don’t want to be obedient to the Bible – they are being faithful to their church doctrines.
Many people believe the mark of the beast is some type of ID or embedded chip, but actually it is a spiritual
reference to branding, just as cattle are branded to show who the owner is. It is interesting that the
number 666 breaks down into the spiritually significant numbers of 2 x 3 x 3 x 37 (2-Gospel, 3-purpose, 37-

- 71 - may21-2011.com
judgment). It is God’s purpose that Satan, who has been ruling in the churches using preachers of
righteousness to spread a false gospel, will come under God’s judgment.

4. In Revelation 20 the Bible states that Satan will be bound for a thousand years. This is spiritual language
where 1,000 (10 x 10 x 10) signifies completeness. Careful study of the Bible gives no evidence that this is a
literal one thousand years. Satan wasn’t loosed (unbound) until The Great Tribulation which began on May
21, 1988. Satan was bound for 1,955 years (not a thousand years) beginning at the time of the cross in 33
AD when Satan was bound by God, and he was loosed when the church age ended on May 21, 1988. There
are a number of churches that teach Christ will return to earth to rule for a millennium (a thousand years),
but that teaching is not supported in the Bible.

5. Those who God saves, His remnant chosen by grace, will reign with God in a new heaven and a new earth.
They will not have any memory of their life on earth. This includes any knowledge of friends and loved
ones. The saved will be new creatures in a new resurrected body and soul, and they will live eternally with
Christ in heaven. There will be no sin or hardships; the focus will be on worshipping and serving God. Any
knowledge of loved ones who were not been saved would bring sadness. Heaven will be a very joyous
place.

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered,
nor come into mind. (Isaiah 65:17)

6. The Bible is a spiritual book and we need to compare Scripture with Scripture to gain understanding. For
example, the city of Jerusalem at times can mean the city located in Israel, and many other times it signifies
heaven. Zion is also a reference to Jerusalem.
Bread represents Christ – just as our lives are sustained by food, Christ gives eternal life to His elect. Wine is
used to represent Christ’s blood – because Christ gave his life, the saved are given eternal life. Water
represents the Gospel which is the entire Bible – just as water is needed to give life, God saves through His
Word, especially now during the Latter Rain where a great multitude are being saved.
Spiritually, orphans, widows and the fatherless represent those who God will save but He has not yet given
them their new resurrected eternal soul. The poor are those who recognize they are spiritually dead and in
trouble with God – the poor are those who are pleading to God for mercy and salvation. Ambassadors are
those who God has saved – they are temporarily living in this world but their real home is in heaven.
Also, God uses people and places to provide spiritual meaning. For example, spiritually Babylon is a
reference to the institutional churches, and the King of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, spiritually represents
Satan who is ruling in the churches during the current Great Tribulation. In Revelation 18 God associates
the churches with Babylon.

7. We learned in Section 18 of this paper that there are 722,500 days between April 1, 33 AD and May 21,
2011, and that this number can be broken down to the spiritually significant numbers of (5 X 10 X 17) x (5 X
10 X 17) where 5 spiritually represents judgment/salvation, 10 represents completeness and 17 represents
heaven.
The 722,500 days are derived first by determining the number of years which is 2011 minus 33. The result
is there were 1,978 years from April 1, 33 AD to April 1, 2011. The 1,978 years are then multiplied by the
number of days in a solar year (365.2422). Then 51 days need to be added to account for the days from
April 1, 2011 to May 21, 2011. The result is there are a total of 722,500 days between April 1, 33 AD and
May 21, 2011.
It is remarkable that two dates (April 1, 33 AD and May 21, 2011) separated by almost 2,000 years break
down into two pairs of very significant spiritual numbers (5-judgment/salvation, 10-completeness, 17-
heaven). Only God, who created this great universe with all of its precise physical laws, could have designed
the timeline of history in such a precise and marvelous way.

Appendix D – Synopsis of God’s Judgment of the World
The following is an excerpt from Chapter 5 of the booklet “To God Be the Glory” (see Appendix A). It
summarizes what has been recently learned from the Bible in connection with God’s judgment program for the
world. You are encouraged to read the entire booklet for additional end time information.

1. The traditional view, which teaches that each and every unsaved person will literally stand before Christ as
the Judge, and be found guilty, and be sentenced to be forever grievously tormented in a place called hell, is
bankrupt.

2. The church age ended on May 21, 1988. The next period of time, which is precisely 8,400 days in duration,
ends on May 21, 2011. It is called the great tribulation.

3. The great tribulation is divided into two periods of time. The first period runs from May 21, 1988, to
September 7, 1994. During this time, virtually no one in the entire world became saved. The second period is
6,100 days, which runs from September 7, 1994, to May 21, 2011. During this period, no one is becoming
saved inside the churches, but outside the churches a great multitude do become saved. The Bible particularly
emphasizes that there will be many coming to salvation who identify with Ishmael, the son of Abraham.
Moreover, it emphasizes that many of those who are the last to become acquainted with the Bible will be
coming into the kingdom of God.

4. The entire 8,400-day period of the great tribulation will be a time when God is separating the true believers
(the elect) from those who claim to be believers, but are not. God is making this separation by setting forth a
number of tests, such as those that are found in the following principles.
a. Every word in the original languages in which the Bible was written came from the mouth of God.
b. Every word in the Bible is the law of God that has the same authority as God Himself.
c. Believing is a work that we do, so no one can believe in such a way that he will become saved. All the
work that had to be done to save someone was done by Christ, long before that person was born.
d. Even though the Bible is about 1,900 years old, and since it was completed, no words have been added to
it. In our day, when we are very near to the end of time, a great amount of new truth is being revealed by
the Holy Spirit.
e. The church age is finished and God commands people to leave the churches. Satan rules there, and God is
no longer saving people within the churches.
f. Christ has now revealed that He will not come as a thief in the night.
g. God has given the true believers the exact day, month, and year of His return so that the world can be
warned.
h. God has given the true believers much new information from the Bible concerning the details of God’s
judgment process.
i. God is giving the entire world the precise time of the end of the world so that they have an opportunity to
repent and cry to God for mercy, as did the Ninevites when Jonah warned them of impending destruction.
Those who are true believers are earnestly concerned about what the Bible teaches, and they recognize it
as their only authority. They will carefully check these teachings and believe them. For those who trust
their churches, or their church creeds, or their own thinking, these teachings are a severe test. Those who
are not elected to salvation will have great difficulty with them.

5. The great tribulation will end on May 21, 2011, which is also the date of the beginning of the Day of
Judgment, which is also called “The Day of the Lord”. The Day of Judgment will continue for 153 days, until
October 21, 2011, at which time the world will end.

6. May 21, 2011, will mark the end of God’s salvation program. On that day, the catching up (the rapture) of all
the elect (those who are truly saved) will occur. The bodies of those who were saved will be resurrected as

- 73 - may21-2011.com
glorious spiritual bodies. The believers who are still living on that day will instantly receive new spiritual
bodies, and they also will be caught up to be forever with Christ.

7. Almost seven billion people will be on earth at that time, and they will witness the rapture of the true
believers. Those left behind will be divided into two groups. About one-third of them, or about two billion of
them, will be church people. They have had some knowledge of Bible truth and believed they were
Christians. The remaining group will consist of all of the rest of the peoples of the world who were left
behind.

8. That awesome day, May 21, 2011, will be preceded by very ordinary days, during which time, all over the
world, it will be business as usual.

9. However, on that day, there will be a super enormous earthquake, so that all over the world, every grave,
every burial place will be thrown open. And the remains of people that had been buried there will be thrown
out on the ground. (Except for the remains of the true believers because their remains will become a glorious
body that is raptured.)

10. This earthquake will create great destruction over all the world, resulting in tsunamis, destroyed water
systems and power plants, etc. Thus, there will be great plagues.

11. This will be a time of horrible sorrow for the church people. They had thought that they were the ones who
were to be raptured. Suddenly, they will realize that they have been left behind and are under the full wrath of
God. They will dramatically realize that they can no longer enjoy the comforts and desires of living in this
present world. Much worse, they will know that they are forever cut off from eternal life with Christ and of
being inheritors of the new heavens and the new earth.

In addition, they will be in great shame in the eyes of those who knew nothing of the Bible but who now see
that their Christianity was totally false and hypocritical. More than that, they will be in great shame in the
eyes of God and the heavenly principalities and powers. In God’s eyes, their death will be a shameful
execution because they were completely under the curse of God. And they will experience physical pain,
which results from the plagues that will occur all over the world. All of them will die (be shamefully executed
in God’s eyes) on or before the last day, October 21, 2011.

12. The remaining group of people who never claimed to be Christians, and who were left behind when the
believers were raptured, will also experience the sorrow of knowing that they have been cut off from the joys
and aspirations of the life they were living on this earth. They, too, will endure great physical suffering, which
will result from the plagues they are enduring. They, too, will be shamed in the eyes of God and the heavenly
principalities and powers. They, too, will die on or before the last day, October 21, 2011. Their deaths, too,
will be a shameful execution in the eyes of God and the heavenly principalities and powers.

13. At the time of the rapture, all the graves will be thrown open, and all the corpses, bones, ashes, dust, or
whatever remains of people that were in them, and which had not been raptured, will be scattered like manure
on the earth. The vultures, dogs, and worms will feed on the dead bodies. These people, at the time of their
death, had no idea how great a penalty they had paid for their sins. Many of them were buried with great
honor, but in God’s sight, their death was a shameful execution. Most of them realized their death would
deprive them of the joys and hopes for this life, but none realized how great a penalty they paid in losing the
birthright, the inheritance of eternal life and the new heavens and the new earth.

14. By having their remains thrown out of the tombs, it is one more shame those people must endure, even though
they, themselves, will have been long dead and will not be aware of it. God emphasizes the shame of sin by
throwing open all the burial places of those individuals so that their remains can be desecrated. Their remains
are being shamed in the eyes of God, in the eyes of the principalities and powers in the heavens, and in the
eyes of those left behind who are to experience the day of judgment. The greater their knowledge of the law
of God, the greater will be their shame in the eyes of God and the heavenly creatures.

15. At the end of the 153 days of this great horror, which is called Judgment Day (May 21 to October 21, 2011),
the end of this world will come. The earth and all of its works will be burned up, even as the whole universe
will be destroyed. The 13,023-year history of the world and all that has transpired here will be remembered no
more.

16. The true believers, who will be raptured, will live forever in the highest joy and happiness as the bride of
Christ, and will reign with Him forevermore.

17. The usual means by which God brings judgment on sin, and condemns the sinner to endure all of the
punishments for sin, as described in the Bible, is the law of God. But God also uses the lives of the true
believers to be a condemnation on the sinner. This will be especially true on the day of the rapture. All the
believers being raptured before the eyes of the church people who are left behind will be a tremendous
witness that the Word of God, as followed by those who are raptured, is absolutely true and trustworthy. It
will be a vivid demonstration and proof that the church people and the others left behind had not obeyed the
Word of God.

18. The traditional understanding of God’s judgment plan, which teaches that the sinner will forevermore be in a
place called hell, suffering fearful torment, is completely contrary to the teachings of the Bible.
