Present Simple = Azioni abituali / realtà Presente (semplice)

Present Continuous = azioni di questo momento Presente (progressivo)
/ periodo
I am going to school (now). Io sto andando a scuola (adesso).

Azioni future programmate:

I am going to the cinema tonight.
Andrò (vado) al cinema stasera.
Past Simple = azione completata /finita Imperfetto Passato Prossimo
I was at home yesterday. Io ero a casa ieri. Sono stato a casa ieri.
Past Continuous = azione passata prolungata Passato Progressivo Imperfetto
He was watching TV. Lui stava guardando la Lui guardava la TV.

DURATA In italiano la forma di durata è al presente.

Present Perfect Continuous
Come il Present Perfect Simple ma per
sottolineare la durata:
I have been working all morning.
1) Lo conosco dall’anno scorso.
2) Lei non lavora da due mesi.

Ho lavorato tutta la mattina.

DURATA Si usa il presente

I have been living here for ten years. Vivo / Abito qui da dieci anni.

Past Perfect Simple Trapassato Prossimo

Azioni passate avvenute prima di un altro evento
passato (al Past Simple).

Let’s + verbo base Si usa in riferimento a “noi” soprattutto per fare
