Coleridge

Coleridge was born in Devon, after having studied in an English school he

decided to continue his studies in Greek and Latin and became interested
in political situations. In 1794 he met a poet Robert Southey and it
occurred to him to move to America and create a small utopian group.
For a long time I became cooperative friends with Wordsworth who both
wrote the lyrical ballads. Coleridge's most important text is the rhymes of
the ancient sailor. In addition to the rhymes of the ancient sailor, there is
also the text Kupla Chan which is based on a fantastic and super natural
vision. The rhymes of the ancient sailor are a narrative poem made up of
archaic ballads that dealt with romantic themes and super natural events.

occhio in vetro simile a quello di un aquila, inoltre gli elementi artistici di
questa storia hanno reso l’esperienza fantastica e supernaturale.
