This is the new program which commenced in 2006. A student must complete a total of 102 Units of Credit of Science courses in this program.
∗ Students who are attempting a Mathematics Major are required to replace MATH2019 with MATH2011 Several Variable Calculus and MATH2120 Mathematical
Methods for Differential Equations and replace MATH2089 with MATH2801 Theory of Statistics and MATH2301 Mathematical Computing. In addition students
are required to attempt MATH2520 Complex Analysis and MATH2501 Linear Algebra.
∗ Students attempting the Physics Major are required to replace MATH2019 with MATH2011 Several Variable Calculus and MATH2120 Mathematical Methods for
Differential Equations.
″ MMAN3200 has been replaced with the Mathematics course MATH3161 Optimization if you attempt the Mathematics Major or MATH2501 Linear Algebra if you
attempt any other Science Major. MATH2501 Linear Algebra runs only in session 2 of a year. Therefore a rearrangement of the schedule is necessary
