„ La Clínica del Pueblo, Inc. (LCDP) a bilingual, community clinic providing


culturally appropriate health services to persons in the Latino community seeks qualified
bilingual professionals for the following positions:

• HIV Prevention Program Coordinator - Bilingual (Full-time- 32/hrs/wk)

Position Emphasis: This position will work within the CHA Department to coordinate
community-level interventions targeting hard to reach Latino heterosexual men and women,
Latino MSMS and Latino/a Transgender in order to reduce the incidence of HIV within the
community and to promote healthy behaviors. Minimum Education Requirement: Two-year
college or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum Qualifications: Two
years minimum experience working in HIV prevention and/or with service delivery to Latino
men and women; Latino MSM and Latino/a Transgender. Knowledge of Latino immigrant
community and ability to work with all segments of the community. Experience with Popular
education and community organizing. HIV prevention street and community outreach,
educational workshops, and volunteer coordination experience. Previous experience with
implementation of work plans and submitting narrative and statistical reports. Experience
developing educational materials and/or peer educator training preferred. High motivation for
work in HIV prevention field and strong ethical core. Detail oriented, self-starter, highly
organized; ability to work evenings and weekends. Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word
and Excel) Bilingual Spanish/English; fluent spoken and written Spanish, bicultural. Salary
Range: $34,828 - $37,440 (full-time annual equivalent) dependent upon experience; plus

• Project Officer - Bilingual (Full-time)

Position Emphasis: Prepares grant and contract applications and related reports to raise funds to
enable La Clinica to fulfill its mission. Assists with other functions in the Development Office as
assigned by the Grants & Contact Manager and the Chief Development Officer. Minimum
Education Requirement: BA degree. Minimum Qualifications: The ideal candidate
possesses one to three years significant work experience in non-profit organizations. Project
Management and grant writing experience, a plus. Requires strong writing and listening skills;
possesses business math background and budget experience; able to multi-task and meet
deadlines under pressure. Ability to speak or read and write Spanish, strongly preferred.
Proficient with MS Word Excel or other similar software programs and the Internet. Familiarity
with Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge software, a plus. Submit two writing samples along with
resume and cover letter. Salary Range: $42.966 - $46,188 (full-time annual equivalent)

• Program Assistant - Bilingual (Full-time)


Position Emphasis: Under the direction of the Chief Program Officer, this position will provide
administrative, data entry, statistical, and program support to Medical Services, Practice
Management, and Patient Support Services units. Minimum Education Requirement: Two
years vocational /college. Minimum Qualifications: Two years administrative work experience
in a medical setting. Detail oriented, self-starter, highly organized. Knowledge of Latino
immigrant community and ability to work with all segments of the community. Experience
handling inventory control, preferred. Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English. Proficiency
with Microsoft Word, Excel (database management and data entry). Electronic medical records
experience, preferred. Salary Range: $26,690 - $28,692 (full-time annual equivalent), plus

• Accounting Manager (Full-time)

Position Emphasis: The Accounting Manager is responsible for management and financial
reporting for the organization by ensuring the accuracy of the reporting system, managing
general ledger activity, assisting the CFO in managing the budgeting process, and coordinating
the monthly closing process. .Minimum Education Requirement: BS/BA degree in
Accounting. Minimum Qualifications: Five years experience in accounting and
grants/contract management in a nonprofit; or an equivalent combination of formal
education/training and work experience. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles, Nonprofit accounting, Accounting and Systems software. Ability to organize and
manage time and multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Works as a team to accomplish broad
objectives of accounting and finance department. Successfully interacts with all levels of
internal and external customers. Competence using Microsoft office software products,
especially proficient with Excel and accounting software (Blackbaud software, including
Financial Edge financial management). ADP payroll processing system. Salary Range: $60,000

• Program Assistant (MHSA) Bilingual (Full-time)

Position Emphasis: This position will provide administrative, data entry and program support to
the Volviendo a Vivir Substance Abuse Treatment Program and Mental Health Program. Quality
patient care, patient satisfaction and teamwork toward the enhancement of the program are the
primary goals. Minimum Education Requirement: High School diploma or equivalent; two
years vocational /college. Minimum Qualifications: Two years administrative work
experience. Detail oriented, self-starter, highly organized. Knowledge of Latino immigrant
community and ability to work with all segments of the community. Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish
and English. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficient in Excel, database
management and data entry. Salary Range: $26,690 - $28,692 (full-time annual equivalent),

• Mental Health Therapist II (Bilingual) (Full-time)

Position Emphasis: Collaborates with the Mental Health & Substance Abuse Department
Director in the program development and overall program organization. Provides individual,
couples, family and group counseling services as needed to a diverse population with issues
including HIV and other chronic illnesses, substance abuse and domestic/sexual abuse, among
others. Participates in the planning and implementation of the “Mi Familia” program, as well as
the facilitation of one of the groups every week during program implementation. Quality patient
care, patient satisfaction and teamwork toward the enhancement of the program are the primary
goals. Minimum Education Requirement: Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or
Psychology from an accredited university. Minimum Qualifications: Licensed LICSW, LPC
or Psychologist in the District of Columbia. (Will consider candidates listed above who are
eligible to be licensed within the next 6 months.). Two years experience providing individual,
family and group therapy to the Latino population. Knowledge of a variety of therapeutic
approaches, including. Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic Therapies. Bilingual: Fluent
in Spanish and English. Excellent writing skills. (Ability to work some evenings) Computer
literate. Salary Range: $51,104-$54,937 (full-time annual equivalent), plus benefits. Closing

• Ryan White Services Coordinator (RN) (Bilingual) Part-time (32 hrs/wk)

Position Emphasis: This position will lead the interdisciplinary HIV team in the achievement
of positive health outcomes for La Clinica’s Ryan White clients. Minimum Education
Requirement: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing and licensed RN.
Minimum Qualifications: Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the District of
Columbia. Two years previous experience working in HIV care. Two years prior experience
working in a Latino community preferred. Program management and quality improvement
experience preferred. BLS certification. MS Office or equivalent computer experience; Practice
Management/EMR Software experience. Bilingual, Spanish-English. Salary Range: $55,174 -

• Chief Medical Officer (Bilingual) Full-time

Position Emphasis: The Chief Medical Officer is responsible for overall patient services to
ensure quality of care standards are met in the delivery of health care services and quality
assurance of LCDP programs/activities to allow LCDP to carry out its mission. This position
serves as a part of the executive management team. Minimum Education Requirement:
Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD, DO); MPH and/or MBA, preferred. Minimum
Qualifications: Board Certified in area of specialty, Family Physician preferred. Must possess a
current license to practice in the District of Columbia. Valid DC Controlled Substance and DEA
licenses required. Must meet requirements for credentialing. Three years experience and
demonstrated skills in quality medical care, leadership, management, quality assurance, planning
and evaluation. Experience supervising clinical and non-clinical staff and departments preferred.
Requires significant financial and budget management experience. Familiarity with data
collection and statistical analyses. Previous work experience in the Latino community
preferred. Fluent in Spanish and English. MS Office or equivalent computer experience;
