INTRA PLANT MODULES:

1. 70FA01:

 IPB ACCESS COUPLER

 This module serves for transfer data signals into the intra plant bus
cable and for transfer of address and data signals from the intra plant
bus cable into the local bus stations.
 It is required to connect to the normal local bus station (station without
intra plant bus traffic director 70FV01) with the intra plant bus.

2. 70FK01:

 IPB BUS COUPLER

 This module serves for:
 Transfer of address and data signals from the intra plant bus
cable to a local bus station.
 Transfer of address and data signals from a local bus station.
  Transfer of data signals from a local bus into the cable (coaxial or
triaxial cable) of the PROCONTROL P42 intra plant bus.

LOCAL BUS MODULES:

1. 70BV05:

 BUS TRAFFIC DIRECTOR FOR EXTENDING ADD RANGE

 This module generates clock and address signals for PROCONTROL
P13 local bus.
 It contains source resistances for the bus lines.
 It should be at one end of the local bus.
 The bus end module 70BA01 should be positioned at other end, if
bus extends over several racks.
 Two bus traffic directors may be configured ton increase system
availability, but only one is active at a time.
 The bus signals are active low.

2. 70BK02:

 IPB BUS COUPLING

 This module serves as coupler between the PROCONTROL P42 intra
plant bus and PROCONTROL P13 local bus.
 It performs bidirectional exchange of data between the two bus
systems in asynchronous cyclic mode.
 256 data words of transmitting or receiving are valid for bus cycle of
20ms.

3. 70BT01:

 BUS ISOLATION MODULE

 The 3 modules: 70BT01, 70BA02 and 70BL03 must always be used
together, form a functional unit.
 This unit serves to interconnect the bus circuit board 70BL01 of two
sub racks.
 70BT01, the Bus Isolating amplifier comprises of 2 DC/DC
converters
 The DC/DC converter1 will have its supply from sub rack 1 and
DC/DC converter2 obtains its operating voltages US2 from local bus
sub rack by way of Bus Access module 70BA02 and Bus Cable
70BL03.
 A 15-polefemale connecter on the front serves for the connection
of bus cable 70BL03. The cable may have maximum length of 30m
and is provided with 15-pole male connecter on both sides.

4. 70BA01:

 BUS END MODULE

 This module serves to terminate the local bus at its end with
matched impedance.
