Verniciatura originale bicolore, speciali humbuckers dal tipico sound vintage e custodia

Sposa la comodità del triplo cutaway, il profilo del manico e il timbro corposo dei due

This is simply unique! It is one of the rarest guitars EKO ever made.
Now highly collectable, very few of these guitars were produced back in 1964. Essentially,
this is a hollow bodied version of the EKO 700 with a stylish variation on the headstock. Now,
after an absence of 46 years, it is re-launched once again.
Available with original two-tone paint, with an option of two colour combinations, special
humbuckers vintage sounds.
It still has the comfortable styling of the triple cutaway, a slender neck and the meaty sound
of the twin humbuckers typical of the 700, but with further depth from the hollow body and
characteristic resonance. It offers some interesting tonal possibilities, with clean sounds or
slight saturation, but sets no limits on further experimentation.
It will appeal to the Jazz guitarist as much as it will to the New Metal merchant in search of
new tones from a retro styled instrument….(without being too retro!!) It is supplied with an
exclusive vintage-style hard case and cable.

chitarra di adattarsi ai movimenti del musicista,

un'ottima comodità nelle perfomance più virtuosistiche
e la possibilità di accedere in maniera davvero
confortevole alla seconda ottava, grazie all'ampio
taglio nella parte della spalla inferiore. Progettata in
cinque combinazioni di hardware per una soluzione
ideale che possa far risaltare il proprio stile.

The series K evolved from our research into the

balance and feel of instruments in demanding live
settings. Whatever movements the musician
makes during the show, the unique shortened body

Partendo dalla sua K GG3, il team R&D EKO ha fatto nascere una Custom con body
design modificato nel body e nella paletta, 24 tasti, segna tasti ovalizzati, tastiera in
ebano, tasti jumbo e un elegante battipenna che integra i pickups ed avvolge i
controlli di volume e toni posizionati in linea. L'hardware dedicato con ponte Gotoh
Floyd Rose® e pickup Seymour Duncan® splittabili in single coil consentono il
passaggio da timbriche stile heavy metal a sonorità fusion con la massima
naturalezza.
La K 24 custom viene prodotta in Europa e può essere ulteriormente personalizzata

An esoteric project planned and designed in collaboration with a great friend of

EKO, Marcelo Barrera (Rescate) to complement and match his virtuosity and
musical tastes.
Based on the K GG3, the EKO Research and Development team has created a
custom model with a modified body and headstock design, 24 frets, oval position
dots, ebony fretboard, wide frets, and a stylish pickguard that envelops the pick-
ups and linear positioned volume and tone controls. Special hardware with Gotoh
Floyd Rose® bridge and Seymour Duncan® pickups which can be split to single
coil to ease tonal transitions from Heavy Metal to Fusion. The K 24 custom is pro-
duced in Europe and can be further personalized at the EKO Custom Shop.

dotata di 24 inviti che “accorciano le distanze”, la scaloppattura degli ultimi due tasti facilita i
bending, l'ergonomico attacco manico-corpo agevola i passaggi nelle ultime posizioni. Piccoli
dettagli fanno la differenza: gommatura dei pickups per limitare inneschi, ingresso del jack

A model that evolved from a close

collaboration with a great Italian artist. Here is a
reliable guitar that makes technical
performances of the highest caliber simple to
achieve.
Developed by Donato Begotti with EKO's
Research and Development team, it has unique
characteristics. A smaller, light, well balanced
design with a neck that increases confidence
and assists virtuosity.
The fingerboard has 24 steps to 'shorten
distances', the scalloped profile of the last two
frets makes note bending easy, and the
ergonomic body/neck design eases access to
the top end. Small details make a big
difference: rubber-based pickups limit the
Larsen effect, secure upper jack socket
position, cutaway body 'S', tremolo with
sponged stoppers to dampen unwanted noise.
With the addition of the fine Seymour Duncan®
pickups and a Gotoh Floyd Rose® at the
bridge, everything adds up to making this a real
cult classic.

La chitarra ha il top in cedro massello e fasce e fondo
in mogano, la tastiera è in palissandro e la parte
elettronica è costituita da piezo più condensatore
interno gestiti dal sistema Presys della Fishman.
La forma è dreadnought a profilo basso quindi la
cassa, essendo meno profonda risulta molto più
comoda quando si suona in piedi; inoltre, i feedback
sulle frequenze basse vengo ridotti di molto, senza
perdere comunque di profondità sonora, grazie al

di uno studio sulle esigenze dell'artista che incontra il
consenso di molti chitarristi, in stile fingerpicking che
preferiscono la forma “mini jumbo” sia per comodità che
per sonorità.
Questo strumento è stato realizzato con un top in abete massello, fasce e fondo
in palissandro e manico in mogano con tastiera in palissandro; l'elettronica è un
modello EKO custom dotata di due uscite, una a jack e l'altra bilanciata con la
connessione XLR.
La spalla mancante permette un comodo accesso alla seconda ottava della
chitarra e la particolare sezione del manico rendono agevoli anche le esecuzioni
più complesse.

The Riccardo Zappa signature guitar is the result of a study from the exacting
specifications of an artist, that meets with the approval of many finger-picking
style guitarists who prefer the 'mini jumbo' both for comfort and sound.

ApplePie è un amplificatore per chitarra in Classe A pura.
La sua forza risiede nella possibilità di sfruttamento totale della dinamica dello
stadio finale, ossia il cuore vero e proprio del suono valvolare.
La scelta di una serie valvolare in Classe A a 3 e 7 Watt permette al musicista
di esplorare tutto il range dello stadio finale senza arrivare a volumi
improponibili sia in studio che dal vivo, cosa che spesso accade con
amplificatori dal “wattaggio” più alto, dove la potenza è maggiore ma l'utilizzo
della dinamica del finale è minore.
Grazie alla grande semplicità di utilizzo e alla sua morbidezza dinamica, le
barriere tra pensiero e suono vengono abbattute, in una simbiosi unica con il
musicista.
Alla grande funzionalità dei controlli di serie dell'amplificatore, si abbina uno

ApplePie is a pure Class A guitar amplifier. Its great strength lies in the fact that
the dynamics can be totally exploited in the final phase, at the very heart of
valve sound.
Choosing a 3 or 7 Watt valve series allows the musician to explore the full
spectrum of the final phase without reaching impractical volumes in the studio
or on stage, as often happens with higher Wattage amplifiers, with their greater
power but reduced final phase dynamics.
It is user-friendly, and its subtle dynamics break down the barrier between

circuito completamente valvolare concepito come se fosse un pedale
overdrive posto prima del canale pulito, il quale utilizza anche i parametri

Nell'Apple Pie 7W l'overdrive è realizzato con valvole opportunamente
selezionate, la cui alimentazione, opportunamente filtrata e regolata, fa

Among the features of the ApplePie 7 Watt is a 'dirty channel', which gives
the all-valve effect of an overdrive pedal plugged into the clean channel,
(using the same parameters).
The overdrive in the ApplePie 7W is created by selected valves, whose
filtered and regulated feed ensures that the signal / noise ratio (with
reduction of background noise) is superior to that of an external overdrive,
and results in excellent incremental dynamics.
The send-and-return is another technical innovation. Acting indirectly on the
signal from the amp, the signal is 'summed up' with the one emitted from
the send and appropriately mixed (by the control at the back), and then
bound at the final phase before the return. This 'electronic copy' concept
has the benefit of not interfering with the original dynamics between guitar

Il Museo della Chitarra Oliviero Pigini è stato inaugurato il

22 Maggio 2004, parte di un'iniziativa tra il comune di Recanati
e la EKO, nella persona del suo amministratore delegato Stelvio
Lorenzetti.
Direttore del museo è il sig. Giovanni Matarazzo, Responsabile
Marketing e Comunicazione della EKO.
L'attuale collezione esposta è soltanto una parte di un più
ampio progetto in evoluzione. Questa è l'aspirazione di
Lamberto Pigini,fratello di Oliviero Pigini, fondatore della EKO,
quale omaggio ad uno dei più illuminati imprenditori italiani.
The Oliviero Pigini Guitar Museum was opened on 22nd
May, 2004, as part of an initiative between the Local Authority in
Recanati and EKO General Manager Stelvio Lorenzetti .
Giovanni Matarazzo, EKO Marketing and Communication
Manager, is the museum's curator.
The current collection on display is only the first part of a further
planned expansion that will feature many more exhibits. This is
the aspiration of Lamberto Pigini, brother of EKO founder
Oliviero Pigini, who envisages the museum as a tribute to one
of Italy's most enlightened businessmen.

La collezione di chitarre Eko - che qualcuno ha definito “le più belle del mondo” - è un 'unicum' mondiale,
perché è l'unico museo che racconta la storia di un'azienda che è nata e in pochi anni si è sviluppata - fino a
raggiungere dimensioni mondiali - in un territorio che mai prima aveva costruito chitarre.
Racconta quindi l'intelligenza e le capacità di un imprenditore, Oliviero Pigini, che ha saputo riconvertire

Ogni anno, migliaia e migliaia di visitatori si recano a Recanati per visitare il museo di un Marchio che è
diventato un 'case history' mondiale.
The EKO guitar collection - once described as 'the most beautiful in the world' - is unique, as it is the only
museum of its kind that documents the history of a company launched and based in an area that had never
previously manufactured guitars, and that took only a few years to reach the heights of the global market.
It tells of the talent and vision of an entrepreneur, Oliviero Pigini, who wisely reinvented an industry that
specialised in accordions - an instrument whose popularity was in sharp decline at the time - into one for
guitars, which were very much in demand by a younger generation.
Inspired by EKO's experience and fortunes, the surrounding area has since expanded in the manufacture of
guitars and amplification, with several other brand names. Every year several thousand visitors and enthusiasts
come to Recanati to visit the museum and explore the case history of an internationally renowned musical
instrument company.
