DRM Sell Through

1. Access the menu 'Processes at distributor'.


2. Expand the node 'Sell Through'.
3. Double-click on 'Create Sales Order'.
4. Enter order type 'JOR', sales organization '2000', distribution channel '01' and division '01'.

You need to use order type JOR for the sell-through because - in this Best Practice process - just one system and
one client are used to process orders for both the manufacturer and the distributor. In the 'real world' manufacturers
and distributors use different systems and so that there are no restrictions for the order type.
5. Enter sold-to party '9900', material 'EXT-HT55HD-1000' and order quantity '1'. Then choose ENTER.
6. Select the item.
7. Choose 'Item conditions'.
8. On the 'Conditions' tab strip, you can see the Ship&Debit condition JDR3. It's a 'down-to' condition, which
means that a reduced purchase price has been agreed for a special resale.
In this example, the price has gone down to 350 EUR. The manufacturer has to reimburse the difference between
the original purchase price and the price that has been agreed.
Go back to the user menu.
9. Save the order.
10. Make a note of the order number, and choose 'Sales document' in the menu.
11. Choose 'Deliver' from the drop-down menu.
12. Enter '2000' for the shipping point, and choose ENTER.
13. Enter '1' for the pick quantity and press 'Post goods issue'.
14. Make a note of the outbound delivery number, and go back to the user menu.
15. Double-click 'Display Outbound Delivery'.
16. The field for the outbound delivery is already filled. Choose ENTER.
17. Choose 'Header' from the menu.
18. Choose 'Output' from the drop-down menu.
19. Go back to the user menu.
20. Double-click 'Create Billing Document'.
21. Save the billing document.
22. Go back to the user menu.
23. Double-click 'Display Billing Document'.
24. The field for the billing document is already filled. Choose ENTER.
25. Choose 'Goto' in the menu.
26. Choose 'Header' from the drop-down menu.
27. Choose 'Output' from the drop-down menu.
28. Go back to the user menu.
29. Double-click 'DRM R/3 Transactions (Update Lots)'.
30. Choose 'Execute'.
31. Select the delivery note.
32. Choose 'Release'.
33. Select the invoice.
34. Click on 'Release'.
35. Go back to the user menu.
36. Double-click 'Manual Lot Maintenance'.
37. Click on 'Execute'.
38. Select lot number 4.
39. Choose 'Details'.
40. Choose 'Audit Trails'.
41. You can see that the available quantity has changed due to the sell-through to the end customer.
Go back.

Go back to the user menu.
