Lucky  color  poker  game  is  a  new  kind  of  poker-­‐like  entertainment  
device,  which  is  based  on  the  principle  of  “lucky  color  dice  play  for  
love,  marriage  and  dating”.  However,  it  has  developed  two  
functions:  1.  Keep  the  original  “lucky  color  dice  play  for  love,  
marriage  and  dating”  to  provide  suggestions  by  adjusting  colors  
around  you,  thus  you  can  manage  your  luck  in  love.  2.  Play  poker  as  
an  entertainment  or  for  gambling  in  the  place  where  the  law  
permits.  The  main  principle  of  the  explanation  of  the  luck  is  based  on  
the  relationship  and  interaction  of  ancient  Chinese  five  elements,  
with  a  modification  that  a  sixth  element  was  added.        

幸運色撲克遊戲是一種新型的撲克牌般的娛樂工具，這是基於“

Rules  of  that  principle  are:  the  Gold  conquers  the  Wood;  the  Wood  
conquers  the  Soil;  the  Soil  conquers  the  Water;  the  Water  conquers

inference  to  other  five  elements.  On  the  other  hand,  the  Gold  
benefit  to  the  Water;  the  Water  nurses  the  Wood;  the  Wood  
produces  the  fire;  the  Fire  will  form  the  Ash  (Soil);  the  Soil  generates  
the  Gold;  the  Air  has  some  mutual  reversible  functions  to  other  five

The  poker  is  a  variation  of  the  dice  play.  But,  it  is  now  using  poker  to  
help  determination  of  who  shall  be  the  winner  after  a  lucky  color  
poker  game.  The  idea  of  the  strength  of  color  is  introduced  to  the  
play.  That  will  be  explained  later.  The  method  of  lucky  color  poker  
play  is  very  simple.  The  reader  can  make  the  poker  (in  smaller  file  
size  sample)  by  following  steps  and  play  with  the  luck  color  poker  
that  you  made  according  to  few  general  rules.

First  you  have  to  make  a  64  pieces  of  card.  There  are  six  colors.  Each  
kind  of  single  colored  card  needs  9  pieces.  They  have  9  pieces  of  red  
card,  9  pieces  of  brown  card,  9  pieces  of  yellow  card,  9  pieces  of  
green  card,  9  pieces  of  blue  card  and  9  pieces  of  purple  card.  And  
you  also  need  to  make  10  pieces  of  “clown-­‐like”  card.  That  card  is  a  
multi-­‐purpose  card,  which  can  represent  any  of  six  single-­‐colored  
cards.  Therefore,  each  set  of  poker  shall  have  64  pieces  of  cards  
totally.  Those  brand  images  are  shown  in  Figs  1-­‐7.

The  lower  resolution  sample  of  the  back  image  is  presented  in  Fig  8.  
The  cover  sheet  has  been  adjusted  to  the  same  size  of  the  color  card.  
So,  you  need  only  to  reverse  the  color  card  sheet  and  run  a  second  
printing,  then  to  cut  the  sheet  to  obtain  each  single  card.  The  high

1. Cut  those  individual  cards  from  paper  sheets  and  trim  them  to  
the  same  size.  You  need  to  make  9  single-­‐colored  cards  of  six  
different  colors  plus  10  pieces  of  all-­‐purpose  cards.  Totally,  there  
must  be  64  pieces  of  card  for  one  set  of  poker.

2. Wash  the  cards  in  the  usual  way  similar  to  normal  poker  
playing.

3. The  players  can  either  be  1  person,  or,  2  persons,  or,  3  persons  
and  4  persons.  The  one  person  playing  is  designed  for  the  player  
to  determine  his  or  her  lucky  color  at  a  time.  Those  2-­‐  4  persons’  
playing  is  for  gambling  only.  Now,  let  us  describe  the  2  person-­‐
playing  as  a  sample.

4. There  are  two  major  playing  forms.  In  the  active  playing  
method,  the  player  A  (the  banker  of  poker  play)  displays  
sixteen  cards  on  the  table,  4  cards  per  row,  all  together  for  4  
rows,  totally  16  cards  with  color  side  position  downward  and

 back  side  upward.  Now,  let  the  player  B  bid  with  his  stakes  (for  
example  he  put  down  one  chip  on  the  table).  Then,  the  player  
B  can  actively  pick  out  two  cards  randomly  and  turn  them  up  to  
see  the  color  combination  and  take  them  in  his  or  her  hand.  
Then,  the  banker  adds  two  cards  to  the  vacant  places.  Now,  it  
is  the  banker’s  term  to  pick  and  turn  up  two  cards  to  see  the  
color  combination  and  hold  them  in  the  banker’s  hand.

5. Then, two persons have to consult the winning rules to decide
who shall be the winner. The rule A, it says: If one person has
got a color pair and another person has got no pair (i.e. the two
cards in different colors). The first person is the winner. The
rule B, it says: If both persons have got a color pair, you must
consult the color strength regulation to determine who shall be
the winner. The strength sequence is that: Six full color > the
Red color > the Yellow color > the Green color> the Brown
color > the Blue color > the Purple color. That means the Joker
card > the Fire card > the Gold card > the Wood card > the Soil
card > the Water card > the Air card. (Please consult Fig. 8.)
There are two exceptions that the Purple color is less strong than
the Blue color. But, it is only stronger than the Six full color,

 although it is weaker than other five colors, and the Blue color
is stronger than the Red color although the Red color is before
the Blue color in the strength sequence, since the water can
extinguish the Fire. Of course the Blue color is also stronger
than the Purple color. The rule C, it says: if the banker and the
player have the same strength pairs or same strength single
cards, the banker wins.

6. In the passive method, the banker directly distributes one card to
the party. Then, he/she distributes one card to himself or herself.
And then, he distributes another card to the party followed by
another card to himself or herself. And then they can compare
who shall be the winner as in the article 5.

7. In case there are 3-4 plays, the distribution of cards is in the

clockwise direction and to determine whom shall be the winner
as described in the article 5.

8. In case there are 3-4 players, the banker can distribute 4 cards in
the clockwise direction to each player. The winning rules are: 4
matching color > 3 matching color > two pair of matching color
> one pair of matching color > no matching color. If both
persons got the 4 (or, 3, or 2) matching color cards, compare
there color strength as described before. If in case of players
have got 4 (or, 3, or 2) matching color cards, the real single-
colored cards defeats the 4 (or, 3, or 2) pseudo-matching color
cards. If there are two pairs of matching color cards, compare
the strongest pair first, and then, to compare the second pair
when the first pair is equal in strength. If there are no any pair
within the four playing cards, first compare the strongest
colored card, then, compare second, third and forth colored
card. The real colored cards are always beat the full-function
(pseudo-color) cards.

In the case that you need to play with the lucky color poker to find
what shall be your lucky color combinations, you need to use the
active playing method. You have to display sixteen pieces of card on
the table, 4 cards per row, all together for 4 rows, with the lucky
color side facing downward, and backside facing upward.
萬一你思考要找到玩的幸運色撲克什麼應該是你的幸運色組合

Then, you actively pick up four cards and turn them upside down.
Now, you try to see if there is at least a three-card-matching the same
color. If not, remove those cards away, and fill in those four vacant
places with four new cards. Then, you choose any four cards again to
see if there is a three-color-matching card in it. Continue the same
procedure until you got three color-matching cards. Then, you can
check out the number of that color pattern in the color chart (Fig. 9).

Finally, you need to use the following web site to consult how to
adjust your lucky color for your good luck. It should remind you that
there are 10 pieces of full-function cards mixed in with the whole
poker cards. In case one of such kind of full-function color card
appears, it can only become effective when there was a pair of two
cards within other three cards. If there appear 2-4 pieces of full-
function color cards in four turned-up cards, those full-function cards
become meaningless. For more accuracy, it is recommended that you
get rid of all joker-cards, when you want to use the lucky color poker
to determine your luck. That can avoid appearing of pseudo-color
matching. In that situation, normally in the first or second round of
poker play can get three matching cards.
