1. Open AFS Allocation Run


Open AFS Allocation Run.
2. Open ARun Optimizer
Open ARun Optimizer.
3. Open ARun Optimizer Control
Open ARun Optimizer Control.
4. Open Selection Report Generation
Open Selection Report Generation.
5. Display details
Display details of selected selection set. (Ctrl+Shift+F2)
6. Application
Application "1 Assignments" is used for normal management tool.
7. Press Simulation
You can display the current selection report as it would look like during the application.

Press "Simulation".
8. Go Back
Go back. (F3)
9. Display selection fields
Display the selection fields.
10. New Entries
Press " New Entries". (F5)
11. Enter "vbep" then press Tab.
You can chose field from tables
J_3ABDBS
J_3AVBUE
VBAK
VBAP
VBEP
VBKD

Enter "vbep" then press Tab.


12. Click to continue
Click to continue.
13. Enter "j_3asize" then press Tab.
You want to include the grid value as selection possibility

Enter "j_3asize" then press Tab.


14. Click on "Execute"
Click on "Execute". (F8)
15. Copy field name
Copy the field name.
16. Click please
Click to proceed.
17. Enter "5" then press Tab.
Enter "5" then press Tab.
18. Save
Save the changes. (Ctrl+S)
19. Go Back
Go back. (F3)
20. Go Back again
Mark that the new selection field has been added to the list.

Go back again. (F3)


21. Generate Report
Before the report can be used it has to be generated.

Click on "Generate Report".


22. Confirm Pop-up
Confirm the Pop-up with a click.
23. Confirm
A log is displayed that informs about the successful generation of the selection report

Click please.
24. Go Back
Go back. (F3)
25. Configure ARun Optimizer Type
Click on "Configure ARun Optimizer Type".
26. Click on "Details"
Display the details of the selected Optimizer type.

Click on "Details". (Ctrl+Shift+F2)


27. Display selection
Application "1" is used for the normal management tool together with an appropriate selection set.

Click to display the selection set..


28. Go Back
This is the selection report seen before. It selects assignments.

Go back.(F3)
29. Enter "var01" then press Tab.
A selection variant can be defined.

Enter "var01" then press Tab.


30. Click on "Create"
After a variant name has been entered it can be created.

Click on "Create".
31. Confirm Pop-up
Confirm the Pop-up.
32. Continue
Click on "Continue.
33. Enter "kaf1" then press Tab.
Here it is possible to pre-define values of the selection.

Enter "kaf1" as a sold-to party then press Tab.


34. Go to "Attributes"
Go to "Attributes".
35. Enter "var01" then press Tab.
In the attributes of the selection variant it is e.g. possible to protect or hide fields or make them a mandatory entry field.
The variant has to be saved with a short descriptive text.

Enter "var01" then press Tab.


36. Save
Save. (Ctrl+S)
37. Go Back
Go back. (F3)
38. Save
Save the ARun Optimizer type. (Crtl+S)
39. Enter "/n" then press Tab.
Enter "/n" then press Tab.
40. Display stock
Display stock with the new AFS Stock/Requirement List.

Click to continue.
41. Enter "af1" then press Tab.
Enter material "af1" then press Tab.
42. Enter "/nj4ab" then press Tab.
Some fixed allocations exist for material AF1.
To change them go to the management tool.

Enter "/nj4ab" then press Tab.


43. Execute
Execute ARun Optimizer type ZAF1. (F8)
44. Enter "640" then press Tab.

45. Execute selection
Execute selection. (F8)
46. Mark schedule line 1
Sales order 640 has two schedule lines for two different grid values. 20 pieces are allocated to each of them.

Mark schedule line 1.


47. Click on "Deallocate"
Click on "Deallocate". (Shift+F2)
48. Mark schedule line 2
The fixed allocation is deleted.

Mark schedule line 2.


49. Click on "Block"
Change the fixed allocation to a reservation.

Click on "Block". (Ctrl+Shift+F11)


50. Click on "Continue"
Select manual block reason 1.
Click on "Continue". (F6)
51. Mark both lines
The 20 pieces are now reserved for schedule line 2.

Mark both lines for saving them.


52. Save and End
Save the changes. (Ctrl+S)
