MANAGER STORE JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Develop & implement Stores Management system & procedures in line with the defined SOP to reduce
wastage & negative inventory.
2. Ensure that equipment/materials received are in accordance with the Right quantity, Right price, Right
time, Right source & Right quality.
3. Maintaining the stock of material without any variance by conducting stock verification and
documentation; Receipts, Issues, Accounting and monitoring the inventory of the raw materials
4. Budgeted planning, Material Tracking, Inventory control and Management Systems.
5. Develop & maintain fair, transparent scrap disposal system.
6. Identify & develop vendor source for achieving cost effective purchase of equipment, accessories &
timely delivery so as to minimize project cost.
7. Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the department to include staffing levels, budgets, and
financial goals.
8. Coordinate and implement solutions from process analysis in department / projects and direct staff in the
development, analysis, and preparation of reports.
9. Responsible for staff scheduling to include work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee
vacations, employee overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Devise, implement Stores Management policies & procedures.


2. Implementing different Stores / Inventory processes, execution of material to respective depts. for
smooth functioning.
3. Implement the just in time (JIT), FIFO, Kanban, ABC Analysis, & “0” inventory activities in stores.
4. Plan, develop and implement stores safety and security programmers and related activities
5. Prepare the plan for perpetual inventory using different techniques and also doing the physical
verification and reconciliation.
6. Coordinating with cross functional departments regarding material requirement and availability
7. To follow up with logistics and transporters for material receipts and issues
8. Dispose off scrap and return the rejected material to suppliers & moving the raw material from the place
of storage to the place of manufacture.

MANAGER STORE/PROCUREMENT (WORK EXPOSURE):


 Controlling and monitoring of 5000 no’s of items of Engineering Packing, Raw material and
consumables Procurements/Inventory of items on daily/Monthly basis.
 Procuring Rolling plan and Indent from Production / Packing.
 Weekly/Monthly Planning of Materials as per production/Project requirements within the stipulated time.
 Maintain Max / Min Reorder Level in inventory management by EOQ method.
 Responsible for taking care of FIFO/LIFO/FEFO/HACCP system in inventory management.
 Responsible for coordinating purchase needs with user departments.
 Conducting market studies for material purchases and proposal analysis.
 Supplier selection and issuing purchase order.
 Vendor management and sourcing multiple vendors for different materials.
 Responsible for all local purchase / procurement required in plant.
 Market Study e.g. Rate, Quantity, Quality and Fluctuation.
 Check and verify the all purchase order before sending to the vendor.
 Participating in HOD meeting and policy planning activities with concern to future planning.
 To execute the given targets within time limit with no compromise with the quality policy of the company.
MAN MANAGEMENT:

 Managing 30 casuals and 6 officers in Store.


 Maintaining the manpower for their maximum output.
 To control the manpower cost.
 Giving timely trainings and other briefing to subordinate for better performance and achievement of
targets.
