We can see how in just one year, these 4 sites have been growing their user base to the point
where they get nearly as much traffic or even more than the ubiquitous elephant in the room:
Google.

It is not just a small group of sites made for kids to chat and have fun. There are obscure sites
with weird names like renkoo, flagr, askeet, squeet, and hundreds more and they have incredibly
large communities with thousands of members.

Small mom-n-pop sites and single-person operations are getting more traffic from Web 2.0 sites.
Moreover, all the Web 2.o traffic is not the same. Traffic driving can be easy but getting more
visitors does not necessarily lead to substantial increase in sales or subscribers. It takes time to
get acquainted with the unwritten rules and little nuances of the Web 2.0. And then traffic starts
rolling and sales will increase.
