For the project of the 16th floor at Hotel Hilton in Tel Aviv, I was in charge of defining the shopdrawings for the (metal color: (ral 9010)

realization of the furniture and restrooms of the rooms, the corridors, and the hall of the elevators. According to each type of
room, I arranged its building system and material that I discussed directly with the designer and architect. Besides, I collaborated MR16-W-01

I designed the executive

drawings to produce a reception
desk for a hotel in Miami. The front
part is composed of structural glass
coated with 4 kinds of molded glass and
bronze profiles. The back part is made of
veneered American walnut wood with
tilted panels to insert a pc monitor. The
desk is made by 10 sectional parts in
order to both transport it from Venice to
Miami and assemble it easily.

The proposed set-up aims to relate and various activities such as temporary

 CONTEST “BASTIONI DI PORTA VENEZIA”
URBAN SET-UP _ MILAN

The project area is situated in Milan along the Porta Venezia Bastions. This street connecting Porta Venezia to Piazza Repubblica
is a peculiar spot located between the Old Lazzaretto and the city center.
Despite the many places of touristic interest, this area isn’t too crowded, due of the intense traffic that blocks the connection
between the Park - leading to the city center - and the Lazzaretto. The aim of this new urban rehabilitation project is to transform
the area into a connecting joint between the two zones, thus facilitating the pedestrian flow.
After studying the pre-existences of the site and observing how the citizens made use of the area, we conceived an element called
“the red thread”, which would connect the areas neighboring the Bastions.
This element serves as a multifunction urban fabric: it transforms alongside its itinerary, first becoming urban lighting, then a
bench, then a gate. The latter presents an informational graphics providing the pedestrians with information and pointing out the
places of interest nearby. The set-up has been conceived to be easily assembled and disassembled and it is formed by a series of
boltless modular elements made of polyethylene. The “red thread” is an element that serves both as a physical and as a visual
connection - between Porta Venezia and Repubblica between Montanelli Park and Lazzaretto- , guiding the pedestrian while
rehabilitating the Bastioni area.

The project proposes to divide the room
in two spaces: one where the finds are
exhibited in two opposite showcases
and in a glass raised floor panel. These
elements all follow the same module,
this is why -when entering the room- the
visitor has the impression of being in a
geometric, rational space. The second
room, on the other hand features the
reconstruction of the huts in which the
utensils have been found. In the attempt
of reproducing the real size of these huts,
we have used fabric cylinders that are
illuminated from the top. We have tried
to create a contrast between the first

Slow-Food is a cultural national and international ones, the Terra

Every two years, Slow Food organizes the
Salone del Gusto, within the fiera Lingotto
in Turin; the project concerns the 2016
edition, whose main theme is “Preserving
the land”.
I’ve chosen this theme in order to raise
awareness on the overbuilding issue and
on the important role of preserving a
healthy soil for agriculture and farming.

in five areas; each area corresponds to a

 A NEW ENTRY FOR PALACE OF FINE

The idea for this theme was
born from my experience with Erasmus
in Brussels. Probably the most influential
architect, in history and in Belgian
culture, was Victor Horta. Sure enough
his works influenced city aesthetic and
urban layout in Brussels. Among these,
the Palace of Find Arts, also called Bozar
it is a really important building due to
its functional complexity and its original
shape that was thought to respect the
urban context. During my university
course I held important proposed theme
enhancing the following points: planning
a new entry for Victor Horta’s Palace,
keeping in consideration relations with
the exist contest and the history of city.
With this approach I considered a building
that would be functional respecting the
Belgian architect’s thought and with the
aim to value the urban complexity of
Brussels.
This complexity is due to the proximity
with the main builds in the capital and to
the site where plan is to be found: indeed
there is an altitude gap almost 12 meters
