Hello Ladies, the official organization of University of the Philippines Cebu Mass Communication
students Batch 2011 and the University of the Philippines Cebu Student Council would like to invite you to
take part in Cook Out 2011 (August 12, 2011, UP Cebu Soccer Field, 6pm until dawn) by considering a
partnership with us through a sponsorship deal.

UP Cook Out is an annual event held every August to showcase UP talents through 4 segments: Kantahan,
Sayawan, Bandahan, Rampahan. We also invite guest bands to perform in between the segments. It can
start as early as 3pm and end at 6am the following day. Cook Out aims to highlight how UPians excel in
their fields of expertise, and at the same time to invite in outsiders to join in the fun.

This year’s theme is “STRIKE” with a tagline quoted from Erik Erikson, “The sense of identity provides
the ability to experience one’s self as something that has continuity and sameness, and to act accordingly.”
This year's Cookout is a Strike for Filipinism, a term used to what Filipinos say or do in the Filipino way.
It is a way to continue our struggle for national identity.

Also, to make this year a different one, we’re bringing back a blast from the past by paying tribute to how
Cook Out started by a prequel on August 8, 2011 to serve as a teaser to the big event.

With this regard, we hope that you would consider our proposals and help us achieve a successful Cook
Out 2011 and preserve UP Cebu’s celebrated culture. Attached are our proposed sponsorship packages (as
Presentor, Co-presentor, Major Sponsor and Minor Sponsor). We assure you that the terms stated are
guaranteed to work for your company’s advantage.

X-DEALS
To provide services in kind, such as media mileage, documentation,
merchandise, food and other perishable goods, to mention a few; the benefits
depending on the value of the value x-deal. The x-deal should correspond to
the value of any of the above sponsorship in order for you to avail of the
benefits that go with each classification.

Y-DEALS [Concessionaires]
To allocate 10 percent of the total income of sold products during the agreed
day/s of retailing.
 Permission for your company to put up a product
sampling/merchandise selling booth (if any) and at most 1 streamer
within school campus.
