NOTES

Mass

Holy Mass will be said in the College’s chapel. All priests attending
the conference are invited to concelebrate.

Conference Excursion

The excursion will take place on Wednesday 27 July immediately

after lunch. Michael Hodgetts will lead the excursion to Bramall Hall
near Stockport. There will be separate costs for transport and entrance
costs which will be payable on the day. Further details will be
available at the Conference and the Conference Director via e-mail or
telephone.

Student Bursaries

A limited number of bursaries are available to postgraduate students

and bona fide scholars. Further details are available from the
Conference Director who will be happy to provide further
information. Applications for bursaries must be submitted by the 1
July 2011 for consideration. The value of the bursary is £100.

Successful applicants are asked to deliver a Short Communication (c.

2000 words/15 – 20 minutes delivery) on the subject matter of their
research. A Short Communication offers an opportunity to present a
new and important piece of evidence, or introduce a promising line of
research, or make a significant revision of earlier assessments which
may not justify treatment in a full-scale paper. Membership of the
CRS is not necessary to apply for a bursary.
