PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk.

The company was established as a joint venture in 1976, with the Sinar Mas Group
acquiring 67% of total shares in 1986 and was listed on the Jakarta and Surabaya stock
exchange in mid 1990.

It has a fully integrated pulp and paper mill in Riau, and two manufacturing facilities in
West Java, which produce fine paper and packaging products respectively. The total sales
outside Indonesia represent approximately 60% of total sales.

The company currently produces various types of paper products, including printing and
writing paper, and packaging products, such as containerboard and boxboard. It also
produces BHK pulp which is the key raw material for paper products and is also used in
the production of packaging products.

The company’s principal printing and writing paper products are uncoated freesheet and
cut-sized photocopier paper. They are sold under the following major brands : Paperline,
Britex, Copy Paper, PPC Paper, Paperon, IK-Plus, and e-Paper. The packaging products
include : ivory board, duplex board and containerboard.

In recognition of the company’s performance in Quality Management System and

Environmental Management System, it has been awarded the ISO 9002 and ISO 14001
certifications.

PT. Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk.

The chief manufacturer of writing/printing paper and stationery in Indonesia was founded
in 1972 as a small caustic soda manufacturer, located in East Java Province. The
company was listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange in April 1990

Today, with an area of 200 hectare, Tjiwi Kimia has transformed to become the world’s
largest single site stationery manufacturer under one roof.

Range of products produced in this mill are: caustic soda, writing and printing paper,
coated art paper and board, high gloss cast coated paper, stationery, carbon less paper,
continuous stock form, file folder, photocopy paper and shopping bags.

The range of converted paper products include exercise books, pads, spirals, loose leaf,
diaries, hard back books, envelopes, continuous stationery, fancy products, coated &
uncoated inkjet paper, paper bags and publishing.

Tjiwi Kimia markets its products under several main brands : Sinarline, Paperline, Sinar
Dunia, Sinar Copy, Sinar Laser, etc. It also has a large printing facility which supports
the converting operations for its printing needs.
The company has been awarded the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification for its
achievement and effort in Quality Management System and Environmental Management
System.

PT. Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mills

Founded in 1975, the company joined the group in 1992.
Pindo Deli’s manufacturing facilities are located at two sites, measuring 45 hectares and
450 hectares, both located in West Java Province.

The company’s history is characterized by phenomenal growth in capacity and as a well

known producer of good quality paper in the region. The major paper machines in Pindo
Deli are PM 8 and 9, both started their production in 1997.

Range of paper products being manufactured by Pindo Deli are: carbonless paper, cast-
coated paper, photocopy paper, tissue, art paper, uncoated woodfree paper, and other
specialty papers such as embossed paper. The luxurious range consists of high quality
tissue for facial, handkerchiefs, toilet rolls, household towels and napkins.

The company’s major brands are: Bola Dunia, Golden Coin, Golden Star, Specta Colour,
Lucky Boss, Mirage, Buffalo Hide, Nice, Livi and Jolly. The company launched its
newest brand Paseo, for converted tissue products, in the third quarter of 1998.

Pindo Deli has been involved in a lot of community projects, namely assisting the
Government in its education programs and creating small-scale industries to give
hundreds of people a chance to make a better living. For these efforts and others, the
President of Indonesia has honoured Pindo Deli with the prestigious Upakarti award.
The mill also has achieved the ISO 14001 and ISO 9002 (now ISO 9001:2000)
certification for its activities in Environmental Management System and Quality
Management System.

PT. Lontar Papyrus Pulp & Paper Industry

PT. Lontar Papyrus Pulp & Paper Industry ("Lontar Papyrus"), is located at two sites on
the island of Sumatra, Indonesia.

The first site, located in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, commenced commercial production
in 1976. Its main product is uncoated freesheet. The second site, located in Jambi, South
Sumatra, started commercial production in December 1994, and produces pulp. In
addition, Lontar PM#1 commenced commercial production in October 1998 at the Jambi
site, producing tissue paper.

The Jambi Mill facility also produces elemental chlorine-free pulp. The mill complex
includes a wastewater treatment plant, a caustic soda plant and a co-generation facility.

PT. The Univenus

The company has two manufacturing sites, located in Riau and West Java.
The mill’s PM#1 in Riau, commenced its commercial activities in July 2003, produces
jumbo reel tissue paper, while the mill in West Java is for converted tissue.

The various tissue paper products produced by the company are facial tissue paper,
handkerchief tissue paper, toilet paper, paper towels and paper napkins. The converted
tissue products are sold under Toply, Four Roses, Livi and Nice brand names and several
house brands such as Brand “1” for Carrefour Indonesia, Value Dollar for Indonesia and
Singapore, Prime Source for Bunzl, Australia.

In May 2003, PT. The Univenus was awarded certification of ISO 9001 : 2000 no.
03/01/04, for its achievement in Quality Management System.

PT. Ekamas Fortuna

PT. Ekamas Fortuna has its production operation in East Java.
The products range are : corrugating medium, kraft liner, core board, chip board,
wrapping paper, paper tube / core, and laminating paper.

In December 1999, PT. Ekamas Fortuna was awarded certification of ISO 9002 no.

PT. Purinusa Ekapersada
