When are you available to be a Welcomer?
You can volunteer from 22nd April to 4th September 2011 as a Welcomer and there will be a choice of 2
shifts per day, 11am - 4pm or 1pm – 6pm. You can volunteer for the whole Festival or just one half
and either fortnightly, weekly or more often. Tell us what you’d like to do and we’ll try and match it.
We’re looking for a regular commitment and with a minimum of 9 shifts in total. There will also be
training during April which you’ll need to come to, details will be confirmed later.
You can volunteer for the first or second half or the whole Festival. Which period would you like to do?

We are also looking for some volunteers who can be Team Leaders to support the Welcomers. If
you’d like to be a considered as a Team Leader instead, tick the box to say on which day(s), all shifts

NOTE:
If for the purposes of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 you are a rehabilitated person and your
conviction is to be treated as ‘spent’ you do not have to include details of that conviction unless the
position for which you are applying involves you having access to persons who are disabled or under
the age of 18 or over 65. Disclosure of a conviction will not necessarily prevent you from being
considered for appointment to a position.

11am and 3pm.
