6h A delegated officer may waive the second instalment of the application charge for a Carer applicant where he/she is satisfied that
payment of the charge would cause severe financial hardship.

• You may be required to undertake the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test to determine your English language ability. The cost of
this test is approximately $150–$400, although this may vary from country to country. Costs are not paid to the department, costs are paid directly to the
test centre.
