Unidad 1: Conocer la clase de Español 1 Performative Assessment Rubric

La meta: Showcase what you’ve learned so far! A friend, guardian, or family member should be able to understand what
you have been working on this unit.

El proyecto: Improve upon the work you did over the past three weeks to create a guide to our classroom.

El formato:
Your guide can take the following forms:
-a physical “collage”: poster or book
-a computer-based document: brochure, powerpoint or word document
-a website: weebly or wiki page
Additional formats can be discussed with the teacher. Suggestions must be approved ahead of time.

Your guide must include:
-A title and introduction to the guide or class
-Two topics from each of the following categories:
-Week 1: Class expectations, Code of Conduct, Class Procedures, Class Materials, Class Commands,
Language Goals
-Week 2: Colors, Spanish Alphabet, Phonetics, Common Phrases, Spanish Speaking Communities,
Question Words
-Week 3: Descriptive words, Self-description, Description of another Student, an Interview with a
Classmate
*Each topic must include a title and brief description
*Additional topics include: favorite words/phrases, things you hope to learn….

La calificación: Grading will be based on accuracy, organization, and content. The following chart will be used to
determine the grade. The overall percentage will be based on an average taken from the three columns.
