OF PROBLEM : What condition are needed for a
seed to germinate?

HYPOTHESIS : A seed will germinate only if

there is water , oxygen and
warmth.

MATERIALS : test tube,refrigerator,test tube
rack,seed,oil,cotton,cooled boiled
water,labelling paper

PROCEDURE : 1)prepare four test tube labelled

A,B,C and D,with their
contents as shown in the
diagram above

2)place test tube A,B and C in the

laboratory and test tube D in
the refrigerator

3)observe the seeds after two days.
