1. Open a web browser

2. In the address bar, type http://DCPServer and press Enter
3. Login using administrative account and password

HOW TO MAP THE PUBLIC FOLDER SHARE

1. Left click on the Start Menu
2. Go to Run
3. Type \\DCPServer\net\mount.bat in the Run dialog box
4. Left click Ok
5. The public folder will be mounted to drive X: in My
Computer

HOW TO MAP THE PRIVATE FOLDER SHARE

1. Left click on the Start Menu

2. Go to Run
3. Type \\DCPServer \net\private.bat in the Run dialog box
4. Left click Ok
5. The private folder will be mounted to drive Y: in My Computer

HOW TO REMOVE MAPPED NETWORK DRIVES

You should not need to remove the network drives under ordinary circumstances, but if for some
reason you have issues connecting to the mapped network drives, perform the following steps.

1. Left click on the Start Menu

2. Go to Run
3. Type \\DCPServer\net\remove.bat in the Run dialog box

4. Left click Ok
5. The Y: and Z: drives will be removed. Follow steps above to reconnect to the networked drives.

USING FTP TO CONNECT TO THE T HECUS NAS

Business PC Support recommends using the FileZilla FTP Client. Filezilla is a open source (free)
FTP client and can be downloaded from http://filezilla-project.org/
The FTP Protocol is useful if you need to transfer lots of large files or a large number of files. FTP
allows you to easily queue files from various locations and have them uploaded sequentially to
the Network Attached Storage.
