"Then Y'hudah from K'riot, who was one of the Twelve,

went to the head cohanim in order to betray Yeshua to
them. They were pleased to hear this and promised to
give him money. And he began looking for a good
opportunity to betray Yeshua." Mark 14:10 - 11

"I'm not talking to all of you -- I know which ones I have

chosen. But the words of the Tanakh must be fulfilled that
say, `The one eating my bread has turned against me.' I'm
telling you now, before it happens; so that when it does
happen, you may believe that I AM [who I say I am]." John
13:18 - 19

"When Y'hudah, who had betrayed him, saw that Yeshua

had been condemned, he was seized with remorse and
returned the thirty silver coins to the head cohanim and
elders, saying, "I sinned in betraying an innocent man to
death." "What is that to us?" they answered. "That's your
problem." Hurling the pieces of silver into the sanctuary,
he left; then he went off and hanged himself. The head
cohanim took the silver coins and said, "It is prohibited to
put this into the Temple treasury, because it is blood
money." Matthew 27:3 - 6

The Messiah Would Be Abandoned By His Disciples

The Messiah Would Be Accused By False Witnesses
God's Promise Fulfillment of God's Promise
" Malicious witnesses come forward, asking me things
about which I know nothing." Psalm 35:11
"The head cohanim and the whole Sanhedrin looked for
some false evidence against Yeshua, so that they might
put him to death. But they didn't find any, even though
many liars came forward to give testimony. At last,
however, two people came forward and said, "This man
said, `I can tear down God's Temple and build it again in
three days.'" The cohen hagadol stood up and said,
"Have you nothing to say to the accusation these men are
making?" Matthew 26:59 - 62

"The head cohanim and the whole Sanhedrin tried to find

evidence against Yeshua, so that they might have him put
to death, but they couldn't find any. For many people
gave false evidence against him, but their testimonies
didn't agree. Some stood up and gave this false
testimony: "We heard him say, `I will destroy this Temple
made with hands; and in three days I will build another
one, not made with hands.'" Even so, their testimonies
didn't agree." Mark 14:55 - 59

"Then some began spitting at him; and after blindfolding

him, they started pounding him with their fists and saying
to him, "Let's see you prophesy!" And as the guards took
him, they beat him too." Mark 14:65

"Pilate then took Yeshua and had him flogged. The

soldiers twisted thorn branches into a crown and placed it
on his head, put a purple robe on him, and went up to
him, saying over and over, "Hail, `king of the Jews'!" and
hitting him in the face." John 19:1 - 3

Isaiah 53:7 answer? Look how many charges they are making against
you!" But Yeshua made no further response, to Pilate's
amazement." Mark 15:3 - 5

God's Promise Fulfillment of God's Promise
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in that the
Messiah died on our behalf while we were still sinners."
"In fact, it was our diseases he bore, our pains from which Romans 5:8
he suffered; yet we regarded him as punished, stricken
and afflicted by God. But he was wounded because of our
crimes, crushed because of our sins; the disciplining that "For among the first things I passed on to you was what I

the under-robe was seamless, woven in one piece from

tear it in pieces; let's draw for it." This happened in order

This is why the soldiers did these things." John 19:23 -

was taken up into heaven and sat at the right hand of

The evidence is overwhelming.

Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel, promised by God.
If you were to put this case before a trial judge and jury, you have easily satisfied the burden of proof. There are over
50 promises used in this presentation. Many offered more than one account, that our Messiah has fulfilled God's
promises as revealed to God's prophets centuries before. All God's Promises revealed to His Prophets are at least
400 years prior to their fulfillment by Jesus. Some promises go back to the time of Moses, over 1400 years before
their fulfillment.
In addition to the testimonial accounts presented here, you also have eyewitness accounts of His resurrection in that
over 500 people witnessed, and therefore could testify to His resurrection:
"And that He was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that He was seen of above five hundred brethren at once;
of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some have fallen asleep. And that He was seen of James and
then all the apostles. And last of all He was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. For I am the least of the
apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I
am what I am: And His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly that they
all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me." 1 Corinthians 15:6 - 10
Can you truly discredit over 500 witnesses that could testify to seeing our Messiah after His death and burial?
In fact, it wasn't just a passing occurrence. Jesus spent forty days after His resurrection teaching His disciples about
the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God:
"Until the day in which He was taken up, after that He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments unto the
apostles whom He had chosen: To whom also He showed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs,
being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God" Acts 1:2 - 3

Paul (now known as Paul) provided additional evidence of Messiah. Witnessed to both Jew and Gentile
