Hypocrisy

Folk-lore, around the world, projects many supernatural heroes.

Fact-finding reveals a lot of dressings in their stories. Many heroes

are reported to be friendly to public at large. Deeper study shows

that his friendship has always been at the cost of those whose

suffered at the hands of such celebrated heroes. Generally

desperado-dacoits help the down trodden. It had not been taken

note of that help to the poor was meant to get sympathy and

support. This aspect of such characters has generally been

suppressed in history. However, their lives have been guiding

lights for the modern thrill seeking desperados.

History talks about Robin Hood, Columbus, Changez Khan, Sultan

Mahmood Ghaznavi, Amir Taimoor, Zaheer-Ud-Baber, Adolf Hitler,

Stalin and many others. Communality between them is that they

enter practical life with the help of a band of similar negative

thinking persons. Some threw away that cloak and achieved

success in the eyes of public at large as well. However, their main

instrument was pillage, use of force, deceit and power.

Robin Hood is stated to challenge and rob rich persons in power

and distribute the gains among his followers and the subjugated

population. In absence of support of the population at large, the

administration remained at bay and could not harm Robin Hood.

Columbus exploited the greed of rulers to snack capital for his

expedition. He discovered America and gained universal

applause. Changez Khan, starting with a small band of followers

forced the then civilized world to its knees. He exploited the

differences and enmities between the then powerful Muslim

Nations. Mahmood Ghaznavi a Muslim stalwart, had the objectives

of showing to the world that idol worship was worthless. Ameer

Taimoor, with the help of remnants of his followers took over

Afghanistan and reached India. Baber his grandson, a fugitive

from the then powers, manipulated to take over Afghanistan and

then established Mughal dynasty in India, which survived till the

British captured the country. The thoughts of Lenin, directed

towards communal life, were established as Communism and

enforced by Stalin. It was in fact the extreme shape of capitalism

where the State owns every bit of assets. The power was

controlled in a way that the Presidium appoints the party officials

on the grass root level, and these officials elect the Presidium

member. The Presidium, at any time, can disentitle a person from

membership or office of the party. Adolf Hitler, a corporal in the

army, through dint of this charisma and use of dream of Germen

nation being the superior most, rose as Chancellor of the country.

He manipulated the Deputies to pass a law that the Chancellor

could enforce any law and orders. He used the fact of insult of

defeat in the First World War as a tool to prepare his nation to

take revenge. However, miscalculation on his part crushed his

nation again. Stalin took the brunt of the Second World War but

manipulated the allies. He served his county, his system and his

personal power. After his death, when the momentum diminished

the World saw Russian adventure in Afghanistan resulting in the

break up of the USSR. In Pakistan, the chess-board of personal

power brought severe tragedies. Democracy was not allowed to

take roots. Pollution of national feelings brought about

establishment of regionalism. The country was allowed to break

into two on the alter of gaining personal power in the rest of the

country. Reactions caught with those persons. Although at that

time efforts were afoot for consolidation of the country, the poison

of regional power had already percolated in the out-look of the

power grabbers. They utilized another tool. Pakistan was a secular

state assuring Muslims that they would be allowed to live their

personal lives according to their religion. A departure was made

when the earlier stance of the country as a secular state was

changed to a theocratic state. It was utilized by supporting

extreme religious teachings and thereby creating a power base.

Foreign nations supported the change with money and material.

The objective was to injure and defeat Russia in Afghanistan. It

succeeded. However, the foreigners withdrew themselves, when

the objective was achieved. All these teachings, organization and

material had then to find an objective and a target. Terrorism

came into being especially when the moderating forces were no

more interested. The International players had achieved their

objective of containing Caspian Sea Oil from entering the World

market. Their next objective is to control the supply of fossil fuel.

As nature World have it, the maximum availability of the Fossil

Fuel was in the Middle East. The Western powers try to control the

areas around Middle East and take hold of the Middle East itself.

Pakistan became a front line Sate. Iraq was made a scapegoat.

Iran stood forgotten, Saudi Arabia was undermined, whereas

Pakistan, a nuclear State is facing the spill-over and crushing

pressures being imposed by the Western clique.

When the Muslim World was undergoing a deceleration from the

apex of social organization and knowledge; and was splintering

into diverse sects. The Western World was emerging from the

dark era. The Phenomena is known as Renaissance. Infusion of

thought and knowledge gave progressive outlook which resulted

in development of opposing religions group. The conflict was

between the Roman Catholic Christians and non-conformists

known as heretics. It resulted in mass killings and was known as

Crusades. On second thought, the west utilized the excited

environment and directed it against Muslims. The name was

populized as Crusades. The book ‘Clash of Civilization’ depicts

the mental and psychological approach of the West towards

Muslim community in the World.

Defending the frontiers of their respective religions, the conflict

took strong roots. The West, utilizing its industrial advancement,

subjugated the Muslim Nations, so much so that Muslim countries

became dependent on the West for pseudo self survival. This was

the start of movement in Muslims for regaining self respect and

independences. In turn, it gave rise to bands of Muslims

defending their religion and social outlook against the colonial

exploitation and introduction of western values in Muslim society.

Turkey join Germany in First World War, the axis powers were

defeated resulting in culmination of Abbasi Caliphate. Muslims of

India tried to support the Caliphate through Khilafat Movement,

but Ghandhi successfully undermined it. The result was that

Muslims were forced into a corner in a closed street.

The economic World War II did not achieve desired results.

Although Germany stood devastated and Japan stood destroyed,

yet the price paid was that England, France and other Western

powers lost their colonies. As a result Muslims countries, were, by

and large, brought in an era of cold war. Other nations were also

utilized as pawns on power chess-board. At the cost of smaller

nations, the big dreamed of unipolar government in the world.

Russia slapped America in Korea and Vietnam. America, in turn,

dismembered Russia through Afghanistan and then took the

chance of controlling Middle East Oil through war between Iran

and Iraq. Having failed, Iraq was instigated to attack Kuwait. In

turn America, opened it way with its allies, and occupied Iraq

although the rationale for the attack was proved to be false.

However, Afghanistan remained a bed of thorns and started

becoming a quagmire for America and its allies. But all this is

being undertaken by the west for its long time objective.

History tells us that American policies, at a specific juncture of

time, may not represent a success, yet the deeper study unveils a

steady progress towards long term objectives. Intrinsically a

country is destroyed and then profit and gains are made during its

reconstructions. A mantle is worn stating that the West is

interested in reconstruction but it is held back that the

reconstruction is planned for total exploitation of the country, its

resources and its people. The so called civilized countries act in

furtherance of their national interest and are not bothered to

undermine, injure or eliminate the people from whom benefits are

derived.
The sustained attitude of the ruling powers resulted in negative

reaction in the under-developed nations. They started striving for

regaining those benefits which the west is pumping away. They

also strive for targeting their own national objectives. An

atmosphere of confrontation resulted due to more severe

restraints put in place by the developed nations. The vicious circle

brought about a sense of desperation in the subjugated nations,

which in turn saw the rise of armed confrontation. The easiest tool

was the religious sentiments coupled with national pride. But the

confrontation kept on and away from national boundaries. Armed

conflict took an international posture. The underlined sense of

deprivation was the guiding force for the spread of terrorism in

the world, only because the developed nations considered

themselves to be masters of the world and masters of human

beings. This approach is a physiological remnant of slave trade in

the past. The advanced nations have not been able to get rid of

benefits of exploitation of slaves. Other means and ways of

slavery have been adopted and introduced by them. Muslims at

large were taught to do away with slavery. Mental outlooks,

accordingly brought about a direct physiological and material

confrontation.

This aspect of social values brought about organizations worked

on cajoling intimidating, threatening and eliminating the persons

who stood in their way. The law enforcement agencies of that era

were rendered practically ineffective. The old school system

brought about a harvest of dacoits. Such groups utilizing modern

advancement were known as crime mafia. They held cities in

hostage, collected protection money and dealt in all kinds of

criminals activity. Any person opposing them faced his and his

family elimination. Witnesses of their crimes were killed and an

aura of threat and murder was their protection. So much so the

Al-Capone the notorious crime mafia chief could not be

apprehended by law enforcement agencies. He was arrested for

tax evasion. Many groups in the world have adopted these

attitudes and approach.

During Afghanistan campaign, America successfully poured in

money and material to organize, establish and conditioned border

belt Muslims, of Pak Afghan area, into a fighting machine against

Russia. It was lost sight of that on successful ending of the

operation, these very fanatic fighters would become a core of

opposition towards America as well. The Government of Pakistan

was also a party to it. After the exodus of Russia, the Taliban took

over Afghanistan and tried to introduce plutonic religious order.

They met with resistance. However, the religions seminaries kept

on producing extremist. Banks who are till now spreading through

extremely poor and financially down trodden population in the hill

tracts. The socio religious environment is undergoing a raid

change which requires to be arrested through parallel seminaries

imparting the moral and social code of Islam and after divesting

extremist attitudes. It is an uphill task but is required to be dealt

with squarely and frontally with more then due speed. Otherwise

the national heritage, as we know it, shall be relegated to

shambles.

A small group of person had adopted the modus operand of Al-

Capone heritage. Initially they pounced upon collecting money

from local taxes by dint of criminal intimidation compelled with

indirect shuteye of the government. These amounts were utilized

to supply different items from sewing machines to atta and

eatables to the poor, thereby gaining popularity and respect.

Expansion saw a protection tax being collected from small

business to the highest industry. It was done at the cost of

intimidation. In case of refusal the defaulter was murdered. The

collections were made on the point of gun and threat, which was

then expended to the family members of the defaulter. Within its

organization, the retribution was quick and final against a

deserter or non-conformist. The government took benefit to meet

the extremist religious groups. However, it could not establish its

control in the face of threats by the crime mafia.

Throughout history innocent public at large, either remains

unaware or is deceived in respect of actual facts happenings and

results. In front, the powerful make great claims in respect of

achievements. At the back, they suppress the negative results of

their acts. However, a stage comes when things start getting

exposed. Recent history shows us that at such a time such

Hippocrates get aside after securing their benefits. They do so

because the powerbase is in their hands, and the general public

cannot undue the machinations of the powerful, though such

power is secured through deceit, fraud, sedition and corruption.

The introduction of democracy was through mutual consultation

between the representatives of the people. Such persons were

and acted as custodians of the interests of the public. So,

democracy was stated as government of the people, by the

people, for the people. This institution was hijacked. The

unscrupulous introduced diverse ways of selecting the peoples

representatives, and procure such status by working on personal

relationship, cast bonds and regional considerations. Religion was

not introduced as the majority in Pakistan were Muslims. Then

divisions were introduced based on sects within Muslims. The

meaning of democracy stood changed to government of the

majority, by the majority, for the majority of a country. This

created dissatisfaction in certain parts of the population. The

persons in power tried and started amassing assets and fortunes

to ensure their hold on the powerbase. Waderas and Sardars

emerged as virtual rulers of the country. However, the powerbase

shifted to the army. This shuttlecock game eroded and

demolished the national cohesion, as no government addressed

the public or national issues in the interest of the public and the

nation. The country is standing at the mouth of a labyrinth. The

powerful as well as the public have to direct their attentions and

efforts to get rid of hypocrisy abounding around. There is a

chance that this nation will rally again to identify itself and to

cleanse itself from the killing virus within it which has been

introduced by self seeking Hippocrates.
