2 Message-Type (messageType [1])

This attribute defines the type of event or message that the MMC processes to create
the CDR. The enumerated values are as follows:

0 MM Message The MMC has received or delivered a message to/from any
interface
1 Notification MMS has delivered a message notification to the MM1 interface
or through the legacy phone methods.
2 Delivery The MMC has generated the CDR as a result of sending a
Report Delivery Report to the MM1 Interface.
3 Read Reply The MMC has generated the CDR as a result of sending a Read
Reply message to the MM1 Interface

1.3.3.20 Event-Disposition (eventDisposition [19])

This enumerated attribute defines the result reason why a charging event occurred.

The following table shows the reason for this event. This table may be expanded with
more event reasons.

1 Message-Delivered The message was delivered
by the MMC.
2 Message-Received The message was received
into the MMC.
3 Message Deleted based on The message expired and
Expiration has been deleted.
4 Message-Rejected The MMC has rejected the
message due to network or
Network/System reasons systems reasons such as a
bad MSISDN, or the message
was submitted to the wrong
MMC.
5 Message-Deleted The message was deleted.
6 Message Deferred This event indicates that the
recipient subscriber wants to
defer message delivery.
7 Message Rejected Terminal The recipient subscriber has

delivery.
8 Barred The subscriber is barred from
either receiving messages or
generating messages.
9 Message-Rejected No Funds The MMC has failed to accept
Available or deliver a message
because there were
insufficient funds in the
subscriber's account.
10 Message Rejected The MMC has determined
inconvertible that the entire contents of
the message are
inconvertible, and the
subscriber profile has
indicated a preference to
reject the message.
11 Message Forwarded if This event indicates that the
Inconvertible message has been forwarded
to a selected destination if
the content was inconvertible
OR if part of the contents
has been removed.
12 Message Delivered Stripped The MMC has delivered the
Inconvertible message, but failed at least
one conversion of at least
one of the contents of the
message, and removed the
unconverted item(s).
13 Message Canceled by VASP The message was canceled
by the Value Added Service
Provider (VASP).
14 Message Replaced by VASP The message was replaced
by the Value Added Service
Provider (VASP).
15 Exception Disposition Return result when no other
result can be determined. An
error condition is detected,
but not due to network
causes.
16-18 Reserved These event numbers are
reserved for future use.
19 Forward on Media Type This event indicates that the
MMC has forwarded the
message due to pre-
identified media contents
type specified in the
subscriber profile.
20 Message Diverted - This event indicates that the
Recipient is roaming message was diverted
because the recipient profile
is set to divert the message
when roaming.
21 Message Diverted - The recipient has indicated a
Recipient's terminal is preference to divert the
off/out of coverage. message when the terminal
is off or out of coverage.
22 Message Diverted - Message The recipient's profile
too large for recipient. indicates that messages
larger than a certain size are
to be diverted.
23 Message Diverted - Time The recipient's profile
Range indicates that messages
received during a defined
time period are to be
diverted.
24 Message Diverted - The recipient's profile
Expiration indicates that messages are
to be diverted when they
expire.
25 Divert All The recipient's profile
indicates that all messages
are to be diverted to e-mail
or to a specific MSISDN.
26 Copy All The message has been
copied to e-mail.
27 Blacklist Divert All This event indicates that the
message was diverted to e-
mail, because the sender is
on the recipient's blacklist.
28 Copied on Content Removal This event indicates that the
if Inconvertible message has been copied to
a selected destination if the
content was inconvertible or
if part of the contents has
been removed.
29 Reserved This event numbers is
reserved for future use.
30 Message Rejected - Too This event indicates that the
Large - Operator message has been received
by the MMC, but was
rejected because the
message size is larger than
the maximum size permitted
by the operator.
31 Message Rejected - Too This event indicates that the
Large - Recipient message has been rejected
by the recipient, because the
message size is larger than
the maximum size set in the
recipient's preferences.
32 MO Message Rejected - This event indicates that the
Blacklisted - Operator originator of the message
has been blacklisted by the
operator.
33 Message Rejected - HLR This event indicates that the
permanent failure MMC has initiated an
SRI_FOR_SM function to the
HLR, but the HLR has
returned a permanent failure
response code (that is,
"Unknown Subscriber"). This
result indicates that the MMC
is unable to retrieve the IMSI
and is also unable to route
the message to the proper
MMC.
34 MT Message Rejected - This event indicates that the
Blacklisted - Operator recipient of the message has
been blacklisted by the
operator.
35 MO Message Rejected - This event indicates that the
Blacklisted - Recipient recipient's profile indicates
that the originator of the
message is on the recipient's
blacklist.
36 Message Rejected - Time This event indicates that the
Setting recipient's profile indicates
that messages are to be
rejected during a defined
time period set by the
subscriber.
37 MMS Mapped To SMS This event indicates that the
MM was successfully diverted
to the SMS-C through the
MMS to SMS mapping
feature.
38 MM4 SLA violation message This event indicates that the
diverted to MMCP MM has been diverted to the
MMCP because the MM4 SLA
has been violated.
39 MM4 SLA violation message This event indicates that the
diverted to e-mail MM has been diverted to an
e-mail account because the
MM4 SLA has been violated.
41 Message delivered and This event indicates that the
major adapted MMC has delivered the MM
and major content
adaptation has been
performed.
42 Message forwarded and This event indicates that the
major adapted MM has been forwarded to a
selected destination upon
major adaptation on the
message contents.
43 Message delivered, major This event indicates that the
adapted and stripped MMC has delivered the MM,
unconvertible performed major adaptation
for some of the message
contents but removed the
parts of the message that
were not successfully
converted.
44 Message forwarded, major This event indicates that the
adapted and stripped MM has been forwarded to a
unconvertible selected destination upon
major adaptation. The MMC
removed the parts of the
message that were not
successfully converted.
