ANECHOIC TEST BOXES FOR ACCURATE ANTENNA PATTERN AND

RADAR CROSS-SECTION MEASUREMENTS

FEATURES:

 Set of two boxes each of 1.2 m X 1.2 m X 1.2 m size, one for
Transmitter and other for AUT/DUT (Receiver).

Reflection signal (reaching test zone) down by min -30dB with

respect to direct signal at 800 MHz raising up to -40dB at 3.0 GHz
and higher frequencies.

Low cost solution to anechoic chamber.

 Special corner block absorbers used.

Five-side absorber covered metallic, movable boxes.

Low RCS (Plastic pipe and holding devices) stand supplied to hold transmitting antenna (generally a
high gain pyramidal horn.)

The antenna under test / Radar Cross Section measurement target stand provided on a manually /
electrically operated (with adjustable timer switch of min 0.5 second corresponding to step size of 1.25
deg.) turntable with low RCS stand.

Optimum performing absorbers at near normal/grazing incidences of extraneous signals used.

Two types: Transmitter and Receiver boxes are custom tailored solution, other size boxes, anechoic
chambers can be provided.

AREAS OF APPLICATIONS:

Suitable for Microwave and Antenna labs.

Designed in view of requirements of educational institutes.
Necessary attachment for Antenna/Microwave Trainer kits.
Necessary requirement for accurate antenna pattern/RCS Measurements.
