Support for Babel College – Iraq
Due to security reasons, The Pontifical Babel College for Philosophy and Theology
had to be relocated from Baghdad to the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Babel College’s
aim is to provide higher education for seminarians, priests, monks, religious sisters
and laity. As of 2010 there were 263 students at Babel College in various courses
of study. Our financial support will assist Babel College to continue to form individuals in
an education of the faith, so that they in turn may be able to bring hope and comfort to
the suffering people of their country.
