MISSION AND VISION

This non-profit organization sprung from the initiative of a few very
enthusiastic Voice students. In 2004, the members of Soprano Margarita
Castro Alberty’s Voice Seminar from UPR’s Music Department wished for
a space in which they could fully specialize in Opera singing, staging and
Production. In doing so, members nowadays come both from musical and
theatrical backgrounds.
The student’s will to sing met with their teacher’s passion and long-time
experience, which she was eager to share.
JUDLO brings opera to all, traveling across the island giving free concerts,
in order for Opera, BelCanto, and lyric concerts to reach as much public as
possible.
