REACT and Lenel to Demonstrate Integrated Security and Mass Notification at

ISC West 2011

Las Vegas, NV, April 07, 2011 --(PR.com)-- REACT Systems, Inc.™ and Lenel Systems International,
Inc., a business of UTC Fire & Security, will demonstrate an integrated solution for security management
and mass notification at the ISC West trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada April 6-8, 2011.

Through use of the Lenel OnGuard™ DataConduIT API, REACT automates notification of response
procedures to the organization based on events in the OnGuard security management system. Security
events such as door breaches, intelligent video and a wide variety of other events can automatically
provide response instructions to first responders, mobile guards, administrators, staff and visitors.
Messages to all recipients are provided with the appropriate instructions for response according to the
responsibilities of those individuals.

“This can significantly cut down the time it takes to respond to an emergency,” said Jeremy Krinitt, VP
Product Marketing at REACT. “During some emergencies we have seen many minutes pass before
communication is initiated. Immediate communication can greatly reduce the scale and impact of the
emergency.”

Notification takes place via computer desktop, public display, cell phones, telephones, email and through
integration to radio, PA, LED board and giant voice systems. Also, events initiated in the REACT
software, through the bi-directional interface with Lenel OnGuard, also are displayed and tracked in
OnGuard Alarm Monitoring. This interface also allows automation of security actions such as changing
access levels and locking doors all based on initiation of REACT alerts.
