Carolyn Hoffies
Goals -
Spirit & Letter - In addition to day to day actions being completed in strict accordance with
Spirit & Letter compliance, she is open to speaking up when specific situations arise that may
not be in the business's best interest. She takes appropriate actions to assure all questions
are answered properly so that quotes and orders are processed with no danger of compliance
issues.

Training Specialist - Continues to provide sound training to new employees as well as others
in our department on a routine basis.

My Learning - Modules were successfully completed in a timely manner through Dec 31, 2010

Training Participation - As a team member who took over Transocean Gulf Of Mexico
accounts, along with all Overhaul & Repair quote/order processing she attended and
successfully completed customer classes for online portals.

Summary - She was heavily involved in most project upgrade quotes which required more
attention to detail than most standard parts quotes. Her workload was increased drastically
due to absences in department and co workers moving to other jobs. In addition to
maintaining acceptable processing times for quotes and orders, she also provided a large
amount of training and team leadership to her coworkers.

Strengths
Clear Thinker-Shows examples of clear thinking in day-to-day work by asking appropriate
questions both technically and commercially to assure quotes and orders are processed
accurately and correctly. This results in minimal credit and rebill as well as a customer
perception of positive company performance.

Expertise Due to her strengths in both clear thinking and external focus, she provides an
excellent resource to both co-workers and other internal departments when there are
questions about processing quotes and sales orders.

Career Interests - She is considered by co-workers to be a senior level employee. By


continuing to expand her knowledge both in products and customer service needs, she will
increase her benefit to the company.
Michelle Pellerin
Goals
Departmental Support
In addition to her normal duties, she continues to assist with additional responsibilities such
as large parts quotes, answering customer calls, and assist in credit requests.

Order Processing
Additional sales order entry responsibility has been accepted and she successfully enters
new orders in a timely manner as well as assuring compliance to all required policies and
procedures.

Commission
Improvements in workflow of commission reports for both payable and accrual was the result
of successful internal audit for this procedure.

My Learning
Completion of all My Learning topics in a timely manner resulted in continuous commitment to
company topics such as EHS, Export Compliance and Quality.

Summary
She is always open to accepting new challenges and is diligent in her day to day work ethic
resulting in continuous compliance with company direction and goals.

Strengths
Expertise There are many tasks included in her normal job duties for which she is solely
responsible. She maintains her duties without need for supervisory direction.

External Focus
She demonstrates her customer focus by offering help to co-workers when needed and
continues to prioritize duties resulting in positive customer comments.

Development Needed
With emphasis on measurable work performance, self confidence will increase resulting in
ability to assume greater responsibilities as well as realize current self-worth to our team.

Career Interests
Training on certain computer programs and office tasks will provide her with the ability to
increase her productivity and organizational skills. Maintaining and improving excellent
customer service focus is a very positive career goal

Development Plan
Current independent tasks need to be cross-trained resulting in a stronger teamwork spirit.
She will also be asked to cross-train with others to assure normal departmental tasks can be
accomplished during times of employee absences.
Dee Kirby
Goals
Dept P&P
Compliance to all departmental P&P resulted in successful Quad Audit. Contract Review for
both technical and commercial aspects as well as issues such as export compliance, EFast,
and KYC are examples of required procedures that are being followed each and every time a
quote or order is processed.

S&Letter
She investigates all issues or questions on every quote and sales order to assure conformity
to applicable Spirit and Letter ideals.

My Learning
Modules were successfully completed in a timely manner through Dec 31, 2010

Summary
Her account assignments were changed due to team absences and coworkers moving to
other departments. These changes resulted in her workload doubling in number of quotes
and purchase orders being processed. This will not continue as the department resources
expand and the workload is redistributed more evenly. She kept a very acceptable response
time based on workload increase, and her teamwork attitude helped the entire department
work through a very stressful fourth quarter.

Strengths
External Focus
Even through a time of very high workload, she continues to focus on both excellent customer
service and prioritizing work properly to assure adherence to all policies and procedures.

Imagination
She continues to question our current processes allowing for new ideas to be discussed. This
helps provide improvements and open-mindedness which is vital to keeping pace with our
customer's ever changing needs.

Development Needs
Inclusiveness
As workload becomes more evenly distributed she will find that new team members will be
relying on her continually for guidance and training. She will also need to be proactive in
communication with her customer's account managers to assure order and quotations are
prioritized based on individual customer needs.

Career Interests
Her commitment to excellent customer service will provide a basis for a long-term career path
with GE.

Development Plans
Improved communications with both visits to customer sites and well as customer-goal driven
discussions with account managers will provide a sound basis for continually increasing
excellent customer service performance in her current role. A leadership role in our current
team will be an automatic response to having multiple new employees. These new
employees will be relying on her for support of many different job aspects such as
organizational skills, customer service skills, and departmental tribal knowledge.

Nicole Sanders
Goals
Dept P&P
During second and third quarter, she was asked to accept temporary account assignments for
quotes and purchase orders. She completed her job duties successfully while complying to
all departmental policies and procedures including KYC, EFast, export compliance and
standard processing guidelines.

S&Letter
She properly raised questions when reviewing customer PO's and quote requests assuring
that compliance to Spirit and Letter ethics were maintained.

My Learning
She continues to ask for opportunities to improve her knowledge and expertise. She has
completed the My Learning modules in a timely and consistent manner.

Sales Dept Floater


During team absences she accepted new job duties processing quotes and sales orders.
She was given a large amount of work with minimal training and was successful in maintaing
our customer service level.

Summary
She is a valuable team member as she has a broad range of knowledge about the
departments many different functions and tasks.

Strengths
External Focus - Is always working toward a goal of excellent customer service even to the
point of working long hours and completing tasks with which she is uncomfortable.

Imagination - She continues to present fresh and new ideas for discussion maintaining a
focus on improving teamwork and customer service.

Inclusiveness - She is willing to go the extra distance for any of her team members by
assisting in all aspects of the quotation and sales order process for example, expediting
individual orders and acting upon customer focused sales reports.

Development Needs
Clear Thinker - Her need to provide quick and responsive action sometimes allows for steps
to be missed causing additional work for other departments. She is always open to guidance
and coaching, as she is eager to correct and improve these issues.

Expertise - Being fairly new to our team, she has been asked to perform tasks that were
outside of her normal job responsibility. She requested to attend product training and is
willing to attend all internal training sessions that will be provided for the new team members.
This training, along with more on-the-job experience, will lead to a greater knowledge of both
our customer's expectations as well as a departmental tribal knowledge.

Career Interests
She has begun a positive path toward a solid career at GE as a member of the customer
service team.

Development Plan
Internal training, product training, and outside classes for software will provide a solid base for
her important role as a member of our spare parts team.

Gina Gil

While she continues to do an acceptable job at communicating with legal counsel for
questions on purchase orders, she has inconsistently complied with other QMS policies and
procedures for processing quotes and orders. Examples: entering wrong requested ship date
and rejecting POs less than $200K (not accepting using standard t/c's acknowledgment.)

Monitor monthly measurement process


Most quotations and orders were entered in a timely manner even after workload was shifted
to assure equal departmental responsibilities.

Spirit & Letter do


She understands clearly her role in raising concerns. This shows her commitment to
compliance with GE's integrity.

Summary
There have been several discussions about attention to detail as well as understanding QMS
work instructions. Continued training is needed to assure compliance to all QMS procedures,
as well as complete and concise detailed communication with customers both internal and
external.
Strengths
External Focus - She is sensitive to customer needs, and continues to act quickly when
needed to assure timeliness of quotations and sales order processing.

Inclusiveness - She includes other departments when needed to assure all requirements are
met such as commercial invoices, review of acceptable terms and conditions, and
pricing/delivery reviews.

Development Needed
Clear Thinker - There is a clear lack of attention to detail that is shown in many of her email
correspondence to both internal and external customers which results in complication and
confusion to all involved.

Imagination - Needs a clearer understanding of departmental contacts with which to


communication to assure timely and efficient information gathering. Should review all
correspondence prior to sending to "imagine" how the receiver will hear the message.

Expertise - More on-the-job training is needed as well as some product training in order to
provide a sound basis for processing day to day quotation requests and purchase orders.
Some examples are how to understand project bill of materials, which equipment requires
datebooks, how and when to include third party charges, when and how to accept customer
purchase orders in regard to terms and conditions.

Career Interests
With more training and guidance she has potential to become an effective and resourceful
team player.

Development Plan
Short Term - Set up structured training plan to address all issues such as attention to detail in
both job actions and correspondence, as well as compliance to all departmental policies and
procedures.
