Type of structure of PTCL: PTCL is very formal structure so they are also
strictly restricted to their work and this structure has also been created to ensure the
organization meets its objectives. There is no anybody informal structure alongside
this structure. Also the structure of PTCL is very flat now they provide opportunities
for delegation.

Type structure of Telenor: The structure of Telenor is also informality about the
structure as the culture of Telenor is team culture so it employees cannot works under
the same formal structure. But it is a tall structure in a Telenor and huge organization
so they cannot work as with flat structure because they follows as team members
participate in decision and the span of control is narrow and there is no load on the
managers.
• The structure of PTCL is also too formal. It does not allow to the employees to
go outside for rule creating as well as creating demonstrating to give new
ideas.
• The structure is very centralized because the employees have to rely the
decision to the leader but also continues his work.
• The stricture is very flat now because the span of control is larger as compared
with taller structure.
• The works will be also divided and it will be more efficiently in the
organization performance.
Telenor: For my observation existing culture of Telenor is a team culture they work
as follow team in the organization.
Reasons:
• The entire employee receives their all task of the day at the same time through
its all branches.
• There are no differentiae of cabins for as different employees and all of them
work together as a team.
• The word of them leader is not considering the final one and any of the
employees they can suggest through their opinions to him if they disagree with
any creative idea
• There is survey at the end of every year to find out from the employee
performance of the team leaders so that organization should also consider
replacing or retaining as a team leader.
PTCL: For my observation of PTCL activities .I found the existing culture in PTCL
is power culture are those where the employees don‘t work as a team and the
organization is based on their personalities.
• The PTCL employees just receive their task from the highly authority and they
cannot follow their opinion to the senior
• The organization is not opened as suggestion from its own employees because
they are also in the phase of restricting and just want for them to the
employees to also do their task which is also given for them.
Task 3: Questionnaire:
• Most of their employee of PTCL was satisfied with their own job but some
wanted to get better position in the organization and also settle down it.
• Majority of the people were not satisfied with current in the organization
system in place but they also wanted to changes in the system which they suits
it.
• The employee of PTCL wanted to see them better position so they are
currently working to be better facilitated and recognizing for their
performance in a few years.
• Most of the employee were also satisfied with the current situation of
environment in the organization but some of them wanted to place them and
made the learning area where they could learning something from everyday.
Planning: The manager plans all his work for the day. His main concern to ensure
the company goes one step forward every day. This can be also ensured to increase
their sales volume and which also provides better quality. He carries our meeting
through his employees and discusses the activities they are going to do for a company
as progress.
Organizing: The manager after planning for the activities for organizes them into
works as job for the employee for example marketing department is given the job for
the marketing promotion of the company and other department is given their task to
do so all so maintained for improving the quality of the company and there is crucial
part of a telecom company like PTCL.
Commanding: The manager has maintained the activities among their workers. So
the manager has all over with his own activities. The manager of PTCL orders
through his entire subordinate to do their task in proper way. All the subordinate are
held to take their responsibility concentrate his own work. There work is presented in
front of the manager and also assesses the performance level of their employees
Coordinating: The coordinating activities are also very important for any
organization. The manager coordinates and their activities are making their
department work as together. He also keeps checking on the activities of the
employees and sees it if their activities are not coordinating to moves the fault.
Conclusions:
• Private sector also shows better performance with comparison of public sector
organization
Critical analysis:
• The research was not enough to have given the required amount of
information
• There is no use of flow charts which have which assignment can be always
better looking
