2. For submission purpose, the tenderer is required to print out all the files s
upplied in this CD except this ’Readme first.txt’ and Tender Drawing files.
3. Files required to be filled up by the tenderer are as follows:

4. A copy of the new Declaration Form will be given separately. This shall be fi
lled up by each tenderer and signed by each owner of the company.

5. Generally, for printing of the files, A4 size white paper shall be used, exce
pt for subcovers in pink colored A4 size, and Conditions of Contract pages in
blue colored A4 size, to follow the existing Department s tender document format
. The Department of Drainage and Sewerage s standard tender document front cover
provided in file 01 Front Cover.doc shall be printed in color and be used as
the outer front binding cover to the tender document.

6. The Bill of Quantities excel file is designed using simple summation formula
to avoid arithmetical mistakes. The tenderer is only required to fill in the cel
ls with light yellow colored background in the rate and the amount columns w
here highlighted. All summation will be done automatically by the Excel program.
The total number of pages for the Bill of Quantities should be 14, including Gr
and Summary.
6. Tender drawing file is both presented in Autocad 2004 format and Acrobat PDF
format. For those who do not have Autocad software, Acrobat Reader can be downlo
aded for free from the Internet.But for clarity, refer to the Autocad file.

7. Signatures for all forms, and Bill of Quantities summary shall be made MANUAL
LY. That is, the forms/document shall be printed first, then only signatures are
put manually. Electronic signature is not acceptable. Likewise, company chops s
hall be stamped manually.

8. Should you have any difficulty in reading Specification files, or filling up

the BQ files, please contact the Project Engineer-in-Charge during government of
