Standard Operation Procedure for Driver Installation:
-----------------------------------------------------
<<<Windows2000>>>
1. Connect the plotter to the host PC using the USB cable.
2. Turn on the plotter.
3. Turn on the computer.
4. [Found New Hardware Wizard] dialog is opened, then click [Next>] button
5. For [What do you want the wizard to do ?] dialog, check the
[Search for a suitable driver for my device[recommended]] ,
then click [Next>].
6. For [Optional search locations:] message,
check the [Specify a location] mark, then click [Next>].
7. Select the [Browse...] button on the [Found New Hardware Wizard] dialog
8. Open the New driver folder located in [Locate File] window.
Then select [xxx.inf], and choose [Open].
9. Click the [OK] button.
10. Click the [Next>] button.
11. Click the [Finish] button.
12. Restart the computer.

<<<WindowsXP>>>
1. Connect the plotter to the host PC using the USB cable.
2. Turn on the plotter.
3. Turn on the computer.
4. [Found New Hardware Wizard] dialog is opened, then check
 the [Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)] ,
then click [Next>] button.
5. For [Please choose your search and installation options.] message ,
check the [Search for the best driver in these locations.] mark.
6. Check the [Include this location in the search:] ,
then click the [Browse] button.
7. Open the New driver folder located in [Browse For Folder] window ,
then click the [OK] botton.
8. Click the [Next>] button.
9. Click the [Finish] button.
10. Restart the computer.

Standard Operation Procedure for Updating Driver:

<<<Windows2000>>>
1. Turn on the plotter.
2. Restart the computer.
3. Select the [My Computer] by right click of mouse, then select
the [Properties] from the Menu.
4. Choose the [Hardware] tab, then click the [Device Manager...] button.
5. [Device Manager] window is opened, then double click
the "Plotter USB Port Controllers" , then double click the model name.
6. Choose the [Driver], then click the [Update Driver...] button.
7. [Upgrade Device Driver Wizard] dialog is opened,
then click the [Next>] button.
8. For [What do you want the wizard to do ?] dialog, check the
[Display a list of the known drivers for this device so that
I can choose a specific driver] , then click the [Next>].
9. Click the [Have Disk...] in the [Select a Device Driver] dialog.
10. Click the [Browse...] button in the [Install From Disk] dialog.
11. Open the New driver folder located in the [Locate File] window.
Then select the [xxx.inf], then click the [Open].
12. Back to the [Install From Disk], click the [OK] button.
13. Check if the model name is displayed in the Models section,
then click the [Next>].
14. Installation will be started after clicking the [Next>] button.
15. Click the [Finish] button.
16. Click the [Close] button.
17. Restart the computer.

<<<WindowsXP>>>
1. Turn on the plotter.
2. Restart the computer.
3. Select the [My Computer] by right click of mouse, then select
the [Properties] from the Menu.
4. Choose the [Hardware] tab, then click the [Device Manager] button.
5. [Device Manager] window is opened, then double click
the "Plotter USB Port Controllers" , then double click the medel name.
6. Choose the [Driver], then click the [Update Driver...] button.
7. [Hardware Update Wizard] dialog is opened.
Then choose the [Install form a list or specific location (Advanced)] ,
then click [Next>] button.
8. For [Plsase choose your search and installation options.] dialog,
check the [Don't search. I will choose the driver to install.] ,
then click the [Next>].
9. For [Select the driver you want to install for this hardware.] dialog,
click the ¢Have Disk...£ button.
10. Click the [Browse...] button in the [Install From Disk] dialog.
11. Open the New driver folder located in the [Locate File] window.
Then select the [xxx.inf], then click the [Open].
12. Click the [OK] button.
13. Check if the model name is displayed in the Models section,
then click the [Next>].
14. Installation will be started after clicking the [Next>] button.
15. Click the [Finish] button.
16. Click the [Close] button.
17. Restart the computer.

Standard Operation Procedure to Confirm the Version of Driver:

<<<Windows2000/WindowsXP>>>
1. Select the [My Computer] by right click of mouse, then select
the [Properties] from the Menu.
2. Choose the [Hardware] tab, then click the [Device Manager] button.
 3. [Device Manager] window is opened, then double click
the "Plotter USB Port Controllers" , then double click the modelname.
4. Choose the [Driver], then click the [Driver Details...] button.
5. [Driver File Details] window is opened.
The version of Driver is indicated in [File version:].
