Generator Assembly

1. Installing the elbows in the lid is the first step. Place glue around the elbow as shown
in the picture below.

2. Install both elbows into the lid as shown below.

3. Do the same to the safety check valve. Be sure to install the check valve with the word
“IN” toward the lid as shown.
4. Next apply glue to the bubbler and install in the lid as shown below. Allow the glue on
the elbows, check valve and bubbler to slightly harden before flipping the lid and
proceeding to the next step. Failing to do this will cause the glue to drip.
5. Apply glue to the bottom side of the elbows and check valve (Not the bubbler). Make
sure not to plug the elbows or check valve with glue.

6. Let the glue slightly harden before proceeding to the next step.

7. Apply glue to the top of the tower as shown in the picture below. Be sure to apply the
glue to the end of the tower that does NOT have slots all the way to the top.
8. Apply the tower to the lid. Be sure to evenly space the tower as shown in the picture
below. To aid in the process, support the lid on a set of 2x4’s or anything to make the lid
sit level. A set of thick magazines will also work.

9. The next step is to install the wire. It is CRITICAL to allow the glue to completely dry
on the tower before adding the wire. Slide the positive (twisted) wire through the lower
hole as shown. Add a bolt through the end of the wire and then a lock washer. Slide the
bolt through the lid and add a washer and nut to the top of the lid as shown. From top
down the assembly should be nut, washer, lid, lock waster, wire, bolt head. Tighten the
nut and bolt just so they are snug.
10. Next wrap the wire around the tower as shown. Take note of the position of the wire
before starting to wrap it. Make sure the wire is wrapped snug otherwise the wire will not
be long enough.
11. Thread the wire through the hole at the end of the tower. If there is extra wire, trim it
to the length shown below. Wrap the end of the wire back around the wire to secure it in
place.

12. Repeat steps 9 through 11 with the negative wire (untwisted). It should look like the
picture below.
13. Apply glue around the bolt heads to completely seal the bolts and the lid. Allow the
glue to slightly harden before continuing to the next step.
14. Finally install the bubble tube on the bubbler. Use the zip-tie to secure the bubbler
tube to the wire.

15. Install the wing nuts on the ¼” bolts. Make sure the red (positive) is on the twisted
wire and the black (negative) on the non-twisted wire.

BE SURE TO ALLOW THE GLUE TO COMPLETELY DRY
