 What is MYCORRHIZA ?

● Mycorrhiza is the symbiosis between plants and fungi

● Approx. five hundred million years ago the mykorrhiza were

responsible for the development of the first vegetation on
planet Earth.

● 90 % of all land plants live symbiotically with fungi. This

symbiosis is called Mycorrhiza.

Plants need water and nutrients. The roots carry water and nutrients from the
