THREE NATIONAL CONFERENCES

Departments of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Electronics &
Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering organized
two day National Conferences in their respective departments. The
conferences were collaboratively inaugurated by Superintendent of
Police, Kaithal, Mr. Sandeep Khirwar. Research Scholars from far and
near places participated in it. Mr. Khirwar appreciated the efforts put in

FIRST PRIZE IN SEMINAR ON HIGHER EDUCATION
Haryana College of Technology & Management has been honoured
with first prize in a two day National Seminar for providing extraordinary
facilities in higher education. The then Director of HCTM presented the

Sunil Nain with Higher Authorities
GOLD – IN LAP OF HCTM
Rahul Sharma, a student of Mechanical Engineering brought laurels for
his college as well as his village by winning Gold Medal in National Judo
Karate Competition which was held in Karan Stadium, Karnal.
Sunil Nain, another student of Mechanical Engineering has won Gold Medal in
boxing in Haryana Olympic Games. He has brought laurels not only for his
family and college but for the whole district. He has won another Gold in Inter
College Boxing Championship in Jind District. Apart from this, he bagged
Bronze Medal in National Boxing Championship in 2008 in Assam. Er. G.K.
Sethi, Managing Director and Dr. T.K. Garg, Director honoured both the
students in college premises and wished them good luck in life.
ANNUAL SPORTS MEET
The Annual Sports Meet of the College was held on 6 March, 2010 in
which Dr. T.R. Kundu, Dean Academic(Colleges), Kurukshetra University,
Kurukshetra inaugurated the program. In this Meet, various events like 100m,
400m, 800m, 1500m, Race, Relay Race 100x4m, Long Jump, Triple Jump,
Short Put etc. were organized. Mr. Manoj Kumar, Mechanical Final Year and
Ms. Anuja, Mechanical Second Year were declared Best Athlete among boys
and girls respectively.
Beyond this, our students participated in various National/District Level
tournaments like Cricket, Tennis, Football, Basketball etc. Our team got
second position in Basketball and third in Football in a National Level
tournament which was held at BRCM College, Bahal during this year.
