Evaluation

Describe the book: The book is very entertaining for me because I got to learn information and very
helpful facts that I would have never expected the brain could do. I enjoyed reading this book because I
like to know what my brain does for my body, and what functions does it control. I would have never
imagined that the brain controls both sides of my boy and my functions also. I only thought the brain
stores information and holds memories from the past, I also only thought the brain helps us gain
knowledge. What also surprised me is the brain is divided into two parts. I enjoy reading books that I
learn helpful information from and will benefit me in some of my academic classes.

Respond to the author's opinions: I agree with all the information the author gives, for the in order to
get a book published the information has to real. I don’t think a smart author like Richard Walker would
waste his time and make up information for other people. I really don’t disagree with any information
because me myself doesn’t know that much information about the brain and what the brain does. But
after reading I gained a little more information and knowledge about the brain. Explore issues the book
raises: The book suggest and wants us to learn and retain all the helpful information the book gives us.
The book doesn’t specifically tell us what particles of what the brain is made of. Such as is the brain
made up of all blood or is the brain made up of meat? The book needs to tell us so the reader will know.

Relate your argument to other books or authors: Other books or internet sources will tell us what the
brain is made up of, so the book is not explaining this information readers will not want to read this
book. Instead other people will want to go on the internet in order to get all the information about the
book. Relate the book to larger issues: The only way this book “brain” affected me was it had some
pictures that look weird and nasty? Know I have learned facts so all my opinions have been changed to
facts due to reading this book. The only way it is the same with my agenda is it has words and pages.
This book can be very useful if you want to learn information about the brain.

Summary

The book “Brain” is a very good source to help readers learn about the brains functions and much more.
One big fact of the brain is the right side of the brain controls your left side of the body. Without a brain
no human could live.
