Mochi Craft prende forma dal desiderio di riscoprire
il passato e reinterpretarlo attraverso la passione per
il mare, coniugando il fascino straordinario di imbar-
cazioni senza tempo alla sapiente ricerca tecnologica
del Gruppo Ferretti.
Questa filosofia, nata da un’intuizione che va oltre le

Ne scaturiscono yacht dalla personalità unica, come
la gamma planante dei Dolphin – Lobster Boat Italian

ratterizza ogni modello – e il Long Range 23 con cui
Mochi Craft ha reinterpretato in modo unico anche il
concetto di Expedition Boat e realizzato uno yacht dal

Mochi Craft developed from the wish to rediscover the
past, then reinterpret it through a passion for the sea,
combining the extraordinary charm of timeless yachts
with the Ferretti Group’s skilled technological research.
This philosophy developed from intuition which went
beyond the rules, building a sturdy bridge between
past and future, and leading to a new vision of the
sea, a new balance between Italian-made power,
technology and elegance.
The resulting yachts have their own unique personality.
There is the planing range of the Dolphins – Italian
style Lobster Boats – which stand out for their elegant
lines, eclectic features and a choice of hull colours
which characterises each and every model; and Long
Range 23, with which Mochi Craft has created its own
unique reinterpretation of the Expedition Boat concept,
producing a yacht with a sophisticated design and
revolutionary technologies.

Mochi Craft crede nella ricerca e nell’innovazione tec-
nologica e persegue l’obiettivo di superarsi ogni gior-
no, spinto da un moto incessante ed immutabile come
il mare stesso, per progettare imbarcazioni sempre
nuove e all’avanguardia coniugando comfort, presta-
zioni e affidabilità in ogni condizione di mare.
Mochi Craft si avvale di AYT - Advanced Yacht Tech-
nology del Gruppo Ferretti, uno dei centri di ricerca e
progettazione navale più avanzati al mondo – e del
Centro Stile, un competente team di architetti e desi-
gner alla continua ricerca di soluzioni estetiche, fun-
zionali e innovative. Comfort e stabilità sono garantiti
dagli stabilizzatori giroscopici ARG - Anti Rolling Gyro
System – una tecnologia realizzata in partnership
esclusiva con Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in grado di
ridurre di oltre il 50% il rollio causato dal moto ondoso,
alla fonda o in navigazione.
Mochi Craft utilizza inoltre la sofisticata dotazione
Computational Fluid Dynamics, il sistema di calcolo
più potente per valutare la cinematica delle particelle
di fluido sotto la carena, applicato su tutta la flotta
degli yacht del Gruppo Ferretti ancor prima che sulle
barche dell’America’s Cup.

Mochi Craft believes in technological research and in-
novation and strives to excel daily. The company is driv-
en by a continuous, unchanging impulse – like the sea
itself – to design new, innovative yachts combining com-
fort, performance and reliability in all sea conditions.
Mochi Craft avails itself of both the Ferretti Group’s AYT
- Advanced Yacht Technology – one of the most ad-
vanced research and design centres in the world – and
Centro Stile, an expert team of architects and designers
on a continuous quest to develop aesthetic, functional
and innovative solutions. Comfort and stability are
guaranteed by ARG - Anti Rolling Gyro System – gy-
roscopic stabilisers, technology developed in exclusive
partnership with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The ARG
system is able to reduce the rolling caused by wave
movement by over 50%, both at anchor and at sea.
Moreover, Mochi Craft uses a sophisticated calcula-
tion system, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to
assess the kinematics of the particles of fluid under
the hull. This was applied to the entire fleet of Ferretti
Group yachts, even before those of the America’s Cup.

 Con il Long Range 23 viene realizzata l’esclusiva
carena trans-planante, progettata, studiata e brevetta-
ta da AYT e denominata “Fer.Wey” - Ferretti Wave
Efficient Yacht – che presenta una efficienza idrodi-
namica superiore alle altre carene, sia plananti che
dislocanti del 28%. Il particolare design, con tunnel
longitudinali che proteggono le eliche, così come la
base orizzontale che ingloba il bulbo prodiero, rende
l’imbarcazione adatta ad appoggiare sui fondali sab-
biosi consentendo la sosta anche in zone soggette a
maree. Il massimo contatto con il mare significa anche
massima governabilità assicurata dalle funzioni “Easi-
Dock” e “AutoTroll” SmartCommand di ZF, dai sistemi
integrati di monitoraggio NAVIOP o Gi8 con display
touch screen che permettono la gestione completa del-
lo yacht in una sola schermata. Non ultimo, l’esclusivo
sistema Ferretti SteerCommand by ZF, che sostituisce la
tradizionale timoneria idraulica, permettendo – in tutta
sicurezza e a qualsiasi velocità – livelli di manovrabili-
tà e governabilità finora sconosciuti.
La visionarietà che guida le scelte di Mochi Craft ha
portato l’innovazione tecnologica a spingersi oltre, per
focalizzarsi sul rispetto dell’ambiente e tutelare quel deli-
cato equilibrio che costituisce la magia stessa del mare.
Ne è nato il rivoluzionario sistema di propulsione ibri-
do “Zero Emission Mode” presentato sul Long Range
23. Si tratta del primo sistema ad emissioni zero appli-
cato ad uno yacht sopra i 20 metri che permette di na-
vigare in 5 modalità differenti facilmente controllabili
tramite un display touch-screen, che variano dal funzio-
namento diesel tradizionale alle modalità ad emissioni
zero, abbinando in maniera diversa il funzionamento
di motore diesel, motore elettrico, invertitore, batterie e
generatore in base alle esigenze dell’Armatore. Sarà
possibile finalmente navigare in aree incontaminate nel
totale rispetto della natura, sostare in rada senza emis-
sioni utilizzando le normali funzioni elettriche dell’im-
barcazione, così come entrare ed uscire in porto nel
silenzio più assoluto, coniugando eco-sostenibilità e
nuovi standard di vita per l’Armatore e per le imbarca-
zioni ormeggiate nelle vicinanze.
Mochi Craft si avvale inoltre di tecnologie in grado di
ridurre le emissioni gassose e acustiche, in linea con
i parametri stabiliti dal Modulo Aa Noise Emission e
dalla norma UNI EN ISO 14509, in materia di inqui-
namento ambientale.

The exclusive trans-planing hull was produced with
Long Range 23, designed, studied and patented by
the AYT and named “Fer.Wey” - Ferretti Wave Efficient
Yacht – which has 28% more hydrodynamic efficiency
than other hulls, both planing and displacement. The
special design, with longitudinal tunnels protecting the
propellers, and the horizontal base which incorporates
the bow bulb, means the yacht can rest on sandy sea
beds and thus be moored in areas subject to tides.
Maximum contact with the sea also means maximum
manageability, ensured by the SmartCommand “Easi-
Dock” and “AutoTroll” functions produced by ZF, and
by integrated NAVIOP or Gi8 monitoring systems with
touch screen displays, which permit complete manage-
ment of the yacht on a single screen. Last, but by no
means least, is the exclusive Ferretti SteerCommand
system, produced by ZF, which replaces the traditional
hydraulic steerage. It allows for levels of manoeuvrabil-
ity and management which were previously unknown
– in complete safety and at any speed.
The vision which guides Mochi Craft’s choices has
led technological innovation to push itself further and
further, focussing on respecting the environment and
protecting the delicate balance which forms the true
magic of the sea.
This is how the revolutionary “Zero Emission Mode”
hybrid propulsion system presented on Long Range
23 was developed. This is the very first zero emission
system to be applied to a yacht measuring over 20
metres, and enables those aboard to sail in 5 different
modes. Easily controlled using a touch-screen display,
said modes vary from traditional diesel operation to
zero emission, combining diesel engine, electric motor,
reverser, batteries and generator operation according
to the Owner’s requirements. Lastly, it is also possible to
sail in uncontaminated waters in full respect of nature,
anchor in zero emission mode and still use the yacht’s
normal electrical functions, and enter and leave har-
bours in complete silence, combining eco-sustainability
with new living standards for both the Owner and the
yachts moored nearby.
Mochi Craft also avails itself of technologies able to
reduce gas and sound emission, in line with the pa-
rameters established by Module Aa for Noise Emission
and standard UNI EN ISO 14509 on the subject of
environmental pollution.

The Mochi Craft philosophy is also expressed through
careful research carried out on shape and materials
which develop into an unmistakeably marine style and
the refined elegance which marks Italian-made goods
all over the world. The huge personality of each yacht
is the fruit of the artisan skill which harmoniously com-
bines shape and function. Norberto Ferretti, Chairman
and Founder of the group with the same name, and im-
portant designers such as Brunello Acampora, founder
of Studio Victory Design and Giovanni Zuccon from
Studio Zuccon International Project take part firsthand
in this approach, which combines science, technology
and creativeness.
The painstaking care taken over the production of these
yachts, the study of the external and internal lines, the
choice of each and every detail take shape in a range
of yachts with a strong marine component, unique in
its elegance and harmony, characterised by the use of

apposito contratto al fine di assicurarsi, in tempi brevissimi, la
disponibilità di una serie di ricambi, legati alla linea d’assi, a
speciali condizioni d’acquisto, nonché la spedizione gratuita

Il progetto Service University si fonda sulla convinzione
che Dealer e Service Point giochino un ruolo strategico nel

offrono ai Comandanti l’occasione di sperimentare in prima

Mochi Craft Service Points have at their disposal a spare
parts warehouse with a stock of over 3,000 items maintained
throughout the year, including the summer. The existence of local
warehouses of the Dealers in main areas of the Mediterranean
and the USA guarantees the availability of spare parts with
even faster delivery times.
The excellent reliability of Mochi Craft yachts is above all
based upon the direct line of telephone assistance: in this way
any potential problem is resolved completely and efficiently.
The Direct Line Service continues to be the flagship of Mochi
Craft Customer Care.
It is particularly during the high season that Mochi Craft Customer
Care is able to show its keen attention to the Client, thanks also
to the emergency service. And given the excellent results of
the initiative, the Summer Line, which has been operating from
May to September, 7 days a week, has extended the spread
of services working as a high level “concierge”.
The Platinum Selection programme delivers Clients’ a pre-owned
yacht in excellent condition. In order to achieve this aim, the
Service Division carries out a range of careful checks in order
to assess the overall condition of the yacht and decide what
work the Dealer will have to carry out in order to ensure the
yacht is in the condition of a Platinum Selection certified yacht.
This new service allows the Owner to sign a specific contract
in order to be satisfied, in a short time, of the availability of
a series of replacement parts, related to the shaft line, under
special purchase conditions, as well as free worldwide

The Service University project is based on the belief that
Dealers and Service Points play a strategic role in supporting
the Customer. And so a complete Education program was
created with the aim of providing various skills, from managerial
techniques and customer satisfaction to courses intended to
develop expertise in specific areas.
Convergence is a meeting devoted exclusively to the Captains
of all Ferretti Group yachts, up to 24 metres, and megayachts.
The course includes workshops dedicated to safety, technical
innovation, insurance aspects and legal medics. During these
sessions Ferretti Group innovations are also introduced and sea
trials are organized which offer the Captains the opportunity to
gain firsthand experience with new technology.
