Q3. If a family whose more than 50% of the land is acquired and
left
over land after acquisition is more than 5.0 Acres dry or 2.5
Acres
wet or combination of both on above principle can be
considered as PAF?
Ans: - No- As per R&R Policy to become eligible for the R&R
benefits the family must satisfy the following;
(para 3.16 of AP R&R Policy)
Q4. Whether an agricultural family who lost entire land has been
acquired acquisition for the project but not his house is
outside the project affected zone, eligible for house
construction grant/site?
Q5. Each BPL family and the major son are being given the house
plot and house construction grant. The father and major son
have constructed the house in only one plot and the other plot
is vacant and used for other purposes. Can the house grant of
Rs.53000/- be released to both son & father?
Q7. Whether a rural artisan / small trader and self employed person
who has been practicing his trade and residing in submerged
village but do not have a separate work shed eligible for
working shed grant?
Ans: -Yes- The policy provides for lumpsum on time financial
assistance of Rs.25000/- or as fixed by the Government for
time to time from construction of work shed/shop irrespective
of whenever they have work shed/shop or not in the
submerged village. However, he should have been residing for
more than 3 years prior to the date notification of the village
in the project affected zone.
Q8. Is a PAF comprising of rural artisan eligible for both grant for
construction of work shed/shop and wages for labourers?
Ans: -Yes – Each artisan who does not possess agriculture
land and his occupation is rural artisan is eligible for financial
assistance of construction of work shed/shop as well as non-
agl. labour wages subject to fulfilling of conditions mentioned
at Para 3.13.
