perifrasi nei tragici: cf. Sofocle, Antigone, 184 (ό τταντ' όρων); Electra, 174-175 (δς
28 Vedi, al riguardo, infra.
Non vanno, tuttavia, sotta
ciuti neppure i paralleli di Sofocle, Oedipus Rex, 476-478 (φοιτά γάρ ύπ' άγρίαν /

1061 (εϋδει wtvov), e fr. 754,1 Kannicht (έτέρω αίρόμενος), sui cui vedi Enrico

41 Vedi William D. Furley - Jan Maarten Bremer, Greek Hymns (n. 18), p. 197,
n. 40: "Guerra's supplement of this line [...] does not seem happy, as it equates Zeus'
cosmic power with the (thin and not particularly impressive) flow of water from a
Come osserva L. Holford
Strevens, '"Like water from a spring' (if for a moment we allow that translation) is
surely better than 'like water from springs'. But indeed, however many springs the
water passes through, it must have come from somewhere else; where?".
43 Vedi Daniela Mílo, II Tereo (n. 20), р. 117, n. 3.
