Informazioni Generali /General Information

L’aggiornamento DATA/ORA tramite “Configurazione Utente” non è funzionante con RACK PC Formula Rev.08 o
equivalenti e con la revisione Bios 1.15.

The functionality of DATE/TIME Update is not properly working by acting on the “User Configuration “menu if the system
is equipped with a Rack PC Formula Rev.08 or equivalent with a Bios Rev.1.15.

Procedure di Reset/Reset Procedure

Al fine di ottenere il ripristino del salvataggio di Data ed Ora dalla GUI “Configurazione Utente” si richiede l’intervento
del tecnico secondo la seguente procedura:

To restore the full functionality of DATE and TIME update implemented in the GUI “User Configuration” is necessary the
technician intervention according to this procedure:

- Collegare tastiera esterna al modulo PC di Formula e quindi accendere la macchina. Nel caso si usi una tastiera
USB e ci si colleghi direttamente al cavo USB posizionato nel RACK, utilizzare un HUB USB.

Connect external keyboard to the Formula PC and then turn on the system. If the external keyboard is an USB
type and if the connection to the Formula System is done via the USB interface implemented in the RACK PC it is
suggested interface the keyboard with the PC using an external USB HUB.

- Accedere al Bios di sistema mediante ripetute pressioni del tasto “CANC”. Quando il popup di inserimento
password compare (Picture 1) premere “INVIO”.

To access to the BIOS menu, press at the startup of the system the key “DEL” many times. When the PWD popup
will be displayed (Picture 1) press “Enter” key.

- Mediante tasti “PG UP - PG DOWN” selezionare opzione “Power Management” (Picture 2).

By using “PG UP - PG DOWN” keys select the option “Power Management” (Picture 2).

- Abilitare la funzione “External RTC Synchro” che di default si trova disabilitata (Picture 3) modificando
l’opzione corrispondente con “PG UP - PG DOWN” in “ENABLED”.

Turn on the “External RTC Synchro” functionality that by default has been configured to disabled (Picture 3) by
acting with “PG UP - PG DOWN” and selecting “ENABLED” option.

- Uscire dal menu premendo ESC. Quindi salvare le modifiche effettuate selezionando l’opzione nella pagina
principale “Write to CMOS and EXIT” (Picture 4).

Quit from the sub-menu by pressing “ESC” key. Save modifications done on the BIOS by selecting in the main
page the option “Write to CMOS and EXIT” (Picture 4).

- Il PC viene forzato ad un SW reset. Da questo momento in poi sarà possibile modificare data ed ora tramite
“Configurazione Utente”.

PC will be rebooted by a SW reset. Starting from now it will be possible modify date and time by using “User
Configuration” as usual.
