H. EXTENSION (Project Work)

Topic: What if Rassendyll did not look like the king? How would the story have
changed?

Invites students to reflect on how fundamental elements of story and plot – and
how very simple premises can be responsible for, and lead to – very
sophisticated story structures.

The Extension section is intended to go ‘beyond the syllabus’: inviting students

to explore, question, wonder at, investigate or pursue additional content-related
topics or language-related curiosities. They are intended to serve as the launch
pads of possibility for further thought, discussion and/or action. Depending upon
time available, teachers may utilise them in a variety of ways.
