Duties and responsibilities:
• strategic planification;

• To plan and develop social and work projects for and with Down Syndrome children ;
• To offer consultancy for parents with children with Down Syndrome ;
• To recruit and train volunteers who wanted to work in social work projects;
• To offer consultancy for NGO that wanted to develop projects in benefit for Down Syndrome people;
• Promote non-discriminatory policies concerning the rights of young people with Down Syndrome for equal
opportunities to access a job, to dignity and privacy;
• Organize seminars with international communities leaders on Down Syndrome environment.
• Coordinate, plan and elaborate strategies and design social, educational programs for youth and children
with physical disabilities such as:
• ”Public Campaign for promoting the disabled youth rights”
• “ I have the right to work” – the main goal was to develop an counseling office and to prepare in work
places, youngsters with disabilities;
• “ Let me take you an interview” – social news papers build up by youngsters with disabilities;
• „Help me to grow up” – ocupational therapy for severe handicaped children;
• „Organisational development”;
• „We can more” – advocacy campaign;
• Collaborate with local authorities for the projects implementation ( the City Hall, teachers, priests,
community social workers, general practitioners, NGO’s);
• Organize seminars with communities’ leaders on strategic planning, educational and social resources from
the society that could be used in developing programs and strategies to help and to improve life for disabled
people.
• Develop curriculum for training materials and conduct training activities for students in social work and
psychology Universities who wanted to volunteer in disability field (strategic plans to understand the
different forms of disabilities, child development and methods to interrelation with people with disabilities,
the relationships and the dynamics in the family, communication process, the social needs for disabilities, to
do or not to do in disability field);
• Improve the educative process by organizing focus groups for disabled youth
