Cert III in Children’s Services (Childcare)

Inspire Education (Inspire—RTO # 32067) will provide you first-class training and student support while you
undertake your studies in the Certificate III in Children's Services (CHC30708).

Cert III in Children’s Services (CHC30708)

The Cert III in Children’s Services (Childcare) is comprised of 11 core units, and 4 electives. It is Australia’s
nationally recognised and accredited qualification in child care, and is designed for those interested in becoming a
nanny, assistant in a child care centre, playgroup supervisor, family day care worker, or mobile child care
assistant.

During the course of your studies you will complete between 80—240 hours workplace-based experience to
solidify your practical experience and skills in working with children. This course has been specifically designed to
develop the knowledge and skills required to work safely and effectively with young children, providing an
opportunity for those with a passion for our youth to take a leading role in the care of children.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification, however sound understanding of the English
language and numeracy skills are preferred.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is offered to any Learner who can provide evidence of competency for the units offered within the
qualification. Learners simply complete an enrolment form indicating they would like to apply for full/partial RPL.
Once enrolment is confirmed the trainer calls the Learner to goes through all potential RPL opportunities, before
sending through an RPL pack to help with evidence collection. In this way the RPL process is seamless and
simple.

Training Schedule
The most effective and popular method of delivery is via distance-learning in the form of self-paced learning.

You will have 12 months to complete the course from your enrolment date through distance learning. We have a
continual intake of students on this basis.
