 Title: - : Blood Bank Management System

Introduction:

Blood Bank Management System (BBMS) has developed an integrated world-class Blood
bank Management, a web based software for effective management of Blood bank
Service. BBMS develops and supports their world-wide administrative and Blood Bank
management systems. BBMS primarily helps in the development, implementation and
maintenance of essential Blood Bank administrative systems. It practically covers the
entire area of operations of the blood bank is aided with user-friendly reports and easy
user-interface and thereby ensuring maximum user efficiency. They have a big plan to
collect the blood from many different sources and distribute the same for the needy. To
manage all these they require fully fledged software which will take care all these.

Objective:

The main focus area of Blood Bank Management System (BBMS) is on the Registration
for blood recipient, maintain Procedure and Blood Bank administrative applications. The
development and support activities include software implementation, maintenance,
enhancement and support. The BBMS security services provides access to administrative
systems as well as to other systems and protects these resources from unauthorized use,
destruction, disclosure, or modification. Another objective of this application is to
automate the complete operations of the blood bank. They need maintain hundreds of
thousands of records. Also searching should be very faster so they can find required
details instantly.
  Scope of the project:-

 Registration for Blood Recipient:

• New Recipient has to register for receiving blood.

• After successful completion of registration patient should get a Registration id.
• Old patient need to required registration, they has to use old registration id.

 Blood Storage Details:

• When blood bank collect blood, blood bank staff has to upload all donor information
(blood group, age of donor, blood pressure).
• Blood bank should maintain other information like collecting date, expire date.
• All Blood bags should have a unique id.
• Also all stock will be maintained.

Bill & Payment Details:

If recipient has donor card then recipient need not to pay for blood
If recipient has not any donor card then recipient should be pay for blood.
All payment and Donor card information will store in database.

 .Net Technology (ASP.Net 3.5 using C# )
 Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
