PROCESS SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This front sheet should be a general summary of the Risk Assessment findings
and outcomes (on page 2).
It should be followed by staff and students at all times.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Gloves for handling lights

Prior to commencing process Students & staff require an induction before


using Arri lights and Rostrum stands.

During process Extra caution must be used when using liquids


such as paint near lights, computer equipment
and other electrical equipment. Care must be
taken if using chalk or charcoal due to dust
build-up on electrical equipment.
Completion of process Lights must be removed only when they are
cool. All electrical equipment must be turned off
when not in use.
General Extra care must be taken when using old
equipment such as the rostrum stands, there
may be exposed moving parts & heavy
components that are perfectly safe to use if
common sense is used.
