INTRODUCTION
Artist Marcel Duchamp argued that the idea of a “work” mattered more
than its physical representation.
Both philosophy and the diverse kinds and styles of art and art-making
that fall under the conceptual tradition all have one thing in common:
they are both intended to make you think.
It is based upon the relation between the aesthetics and the philosophy.
Conceptual artists utilizes the available elements of expression to
depict not only the nature of objects, but often political, social and
technological subjects as well.
The concept of a work of art may involve the matter of the piece or the
process in which it is made.
Post modernism reject the idea that art can provide meaning.
