2.. Aoplicability. •· This r:egtllation applies to this headquarters .and all subordi~
nate commands. : ,..
c. 'The· rie;ht to vJcar the Pershing ~rofessional Badge is a privilege wh:J-ch may
be revoked; for any one• of the· following. r~c.sons:· {1) · TlN r<;;cipicnt demonstrates
·by his actions that. ho: is no longer qualified .to wear the· i'"'ershing Professional .
Badge.
(3) The recipient is the subj.e~ct of. an. adverso personnel, action.
The c·ertifico.te which acc.ompanies ·the. avmrd. o~. the J:ershing. Pl:~ofessj,ona~. Badge
will not be withdrawn.
c. The Pershing Fxofessional Badge will b~ vJorn centered on the right pocket
of the uniform Ex:ceptions to this policy will be made when wear conflicts with
wear of an insignia, accouterrnent, or badge authorized by higher headquarters.
In these instances the Pershing Professional Badge will be worn onthe left uniform
pocket.

are recommended and approved· for award of. subject. B-2dges will· be· awarded the cer-
tificate. In no instance will an indiVidual be require~ to purchase a Pershing

b,;. · ·An individual must have been assig:ned to a 56th Artillery . Group unit for a
minimum of three months· prior to award of a Pershing Professionnl B:tdge. · .Excep-
tions to thi.s erit'eria may be· made by the Gr-oup· and Battalion Commanders 1 for an
indiVidual .who has partic;i,..pated in an exceptionally meritorious act and -for d·esig-

c. To be eligible for award of the Pershing Professional BadGe an individunl
