CONTINENTAL

Designed to ensure smooth, flowing teamwork, the Classe A5

Continental lets the dentist operate with outstanding fluidity and so
ensures his attention remains focussed on the patient. Both dentist’s
module and pantograph arm are highly manoeuvrable, thus helping dentists
who work with reflex arm instruments to reach positions from 9 o’clock
to 1 o’clock with ease.

Designed to optimise the available operating space, the Short Arm version
maintains all the features of the Classe A5 yet is more compact.
Designed for the smaller surgery, the shorter, lighter fixed arm ensures
outstanding dentist’s module manoeuvrability.

INTERNATIONAL

Dentists who prefer to use hanging tube instruments will find that the
ergonomic instrument layout on the new International version dentist’s
module brings everything within easy reach. The large tray holder module
and highly manoeuvrable pantograph arm allow the dentist to work with
confidence, interacting smoothly with the assistant. Everything is kept
under tight control, letting the dentist focus exclusively on the patient
and the tasks at hand. An additional instrument (optional) can be fitted
on this module (curing light or camera).

version, the Classe A5 Cart is ideal for dentists who prefer to use hanging

To operate confidently, constant control is a must. Easier
chair and instrument control means the dental team can
focus their efforts on the patient. Simple, user-friendly controls
and the clarity of the information available to the dentist
ensure optimal operating conditions.

Whatever the position, both chair and instruments can be

comfortably controlled via conveniently placed keys on the
dentist’s instrument control panel, the foot control and the
assistant’s module.

Quick instrument changeover

A system of rapid couplings is installed on the Classe A5
dentist’s and assistant’s modules to make instrument
replacement easier.

Multi-function foot control

The new Anthos foot control unit has been designed and
developed to maximise ergonomics and provide multiple
functions.
By transferring several commands to a logical, user-friendly
foot control the dentist obtains a tool that offers the very
highest level of practicality.

Unobstructed approach to operating zone
In addition to supplying comfortable anatomical support for the
patient, the patient chair must ensure unobstructed approach
to the operating zone by the medical personnel.
The new chair, thinner than the previous version, has a tapered
section between the seat and lumbar support, to facilitate
approach and help freedom of movement for both the dentist
and the assistant.
The chair movement (from 90° to Trendelenburg position) is
smooth and regular.

Child’s cushion
To ensure effective working ergonomics and the proper
comfort of shorter patients or children, a supplementary
cushion is available on request.

Visco-elastic upholstery
Special visco-elastic padding is available for total patient
comfort.

Careful design ensures secure, comfortable seating for all

patients.

The characteristics of the materials used provide perfect

patient support at all times. By adapting to their individual
shape and increasing contact surface area, the pressure
exerted on the patient’s body is reduced. Visco-elastic padding
provides an active, calibrated response that gives maximum
patient comfort in all working positions, especially
during prolonged operations.
Pneumatic or standard headrest
Two types of headrest are available on the Classe A5. The normal headrest with mechanical positioning is supplied as standard.
Alternatively, the optional 3-axis pneumatic headrest allows the dentist to position the patient’s head effortlessly and precisely.
A control conveniently positioned on the lower side of the headrest releases it pneumatically.

Anthos hygiene system

In compliance with international standards, the Anthos
hygiene system is built - starting at the design stage of 1
each individual component - to smooth the daily work rou-
tine and enhance hygiene and cleanliness.
All materials are specially selected to keep dental unit
asepsis constant, while devices in its interior prevent any
potential contamination at source.

WHE (Water Hygienisation Equipment)

An automatic system that ensures permanent disinfection
of spray and water-to-cup circuits via the addition of H2O2
to inhibit the formation of biofilm.
The system also features a Type A air gap separation from
mains water as per EN 1717 (DVGW certified).

Distilled water tank

This system ensures quality and conformity with water
supply hygiene requirements independent of drinking
water quality. The 2-litre bottle incorporated on the unit
body can be removed for easy filling and sanitisation.

O.D.R. spray anti-retraction system

Device fitted on all dynamic instruments: blocks droplet
retraction completely and prevents backflow contamination
of spray circuits.

Enhanced diagnostic capacity
To complete your treatment centre, Anthos offers you its ZEN-X sensor and high-frequency X-ray system RXDC HyperSphere, whose diagnostic
potential complements the multimedia system for direct communication. Thanks to the intraoral sensor, it is now possible to immediately view an
X-ray image on the LCD unit. Screen integration and the immediate availability of diagnostic data enhance the medical team efficiency, preventing
down time and interruptions in the workflow.

ZEN-X
The new smoothed, rounded edge ZEN-X X-ray sensor is
conveniently located on the dentist’s module. Readily available
precision diagnostics and above all, extra comfort thanks to
the sensor’s rounded shape that perfectly adapts to the
patient’s oral cavity.
The sensor, available in two sizes, has a compact, sturdy
design thanks to rear lead mounting and lining seal. The
sensor, whose overall size has been reduced to facilitate
positioning in the mouth, enables to quickly obtain highly
accurate clinical images.

RXDC HyperSphere
HyperSphere technology makes RXDC different from all
other commercially available X-ray systems. The RXDC X-ray
tube head can be manoeuvred comfortably with just one
hand. The tube head lock-on/lock-off device swivelling on the
steel sphere enables effortless and highly accurate reposi-
tioning of the tube head. Once the desired exposure position
has been reached it remains perfectly stable.

Wireless control
RXDC is supplied with a portable wireless digital control
device that can be installed anywhere in the dental studio.
The control device offers a full range of intuitive exposure
programs and four buttons designed to make correct X-ray
image acquisition a straightforward process. The RXDC X-ray
system defines automatically the correct exposure by selecting
the anatomic district of interest.

C-U2
Digital intraoral camera. Thanks to the highest brightness
rating in its category, which ensures optimal lighting of the
oral cavity during video imaging, C-U2 provides super-sharp
images and promotes truly effective dentist-patient com-
munication. Extremely lightweight and ergonomic, the
watertight handpiece also ensures maintenance of excellent
hygiene standards.
Thanks to the touch-sensitive control, freeze-frame images
without vibration-induced blur can easily be obtained.
The freeze-frame function can also be used via the foot
control. Digital Progressive Scan technology gives sharp
freeze-frame images without analogical conversion of the
video signal.
The wide-angle view is partially retroflexed for easy access
to distal and posterior tooth areas where a standard 90°
view would be penalised.

C-U2 PRO
PRO optics provides images via three different focal adjustments.
Macro Close-Up enhances the perception of the tiniest
