ESTRUCTURACIÓN
ADVERBS OF FREQUENCY
USAGE:We use the Adverbs of frequency to
express how often or with which frequency we do the
actions. Examples:
I ALWAYS get up at seven
He USUALLY goes to school by bus.

POSITION: The adverbs of frequency go:

a) Before all verbs (except verb TO BE). EXAMPLE:
I ALWAYS wake up at 9:00.
She NEVER cleans her bedroom.
b) After the verb TO BE. EXAMPLE:
They are SOMETIMES late.
He is OFTEN on time at school
c) If the sentence has more than one verb (Auxiliary verb + verb), we put the adverb between the two verbs.
EXAMPLE: Anne doesn’t USUALLY smoke. Do you ALWAYS sleep in the afternoon?
