According to our group the ranking of table 6.1 for the most important stimuli to the least important one
is as follow:

MARKETING STIMULI:

Namely there are four stimuli in this category and they are Products and Services, Price, Distribution and
Communications.

According to us the most important stimulus in this category is price because even if you like to buy a
particular product but don¶t have the money to purchase it then it cannot act as the prior stimuli especially
in an economy like ours. So the primary or the most important stimulus is price.

On second number we have products and services because once you have the money then different
products and services can act as stimulus for a customer.

We ranked distribution as the third important stimulus because the availability of the product is also
important and the easy availability of the products can act as stimulus to buy that particular product. In
this case any shortage of one brand could lead to the success of its competitors.

Then at the end we have the least important stimulus and that is communications because the most
important is the price and the product and after product the important thing is its availability, so the least
important one in communications.

OTHER STIMULI:

In this category we have again four stimulus and they are Economical, Technological, Political and
Cultural.

The most important is economical as we mentioned above that economical stimulus matters a lot
especially in a country with like Pakistan where the present economic conditions are at their worst.

Then at the second number we have cultural stimulus because our culture influence us a lot and it
sometimes also act as a stimulus to buy a particular product and sometimes it can act as restrictor.

The third most important stimulus is technological because new technologies always attract attention for
example new and unique gadgets or i phone is the best example.

The least important stimulus is political because it hardly make consumer feel to buy a product or
services.

èONSUMER PSYèHOLOGY:

According to our group learning is the prior or the most important stimulus because we are what we learn
from our childhood and it the most important stimulus for the consumers for example if in someone¶s
family, eating meat is not considered good so that person will never buy meat products

Then on second number comes the perception of the individual himself; perception can also be an
important stimulus after learning because individual perception matters a lot.

The third most important stimulus is motivation because if a consumer has a motivational drive to buy a
particular product then he or she will going to buy it.

The least important one is memory because it involves remembering a particular product or its
advertisement. But sometimes learning, motivation and perception doesn¶t let it succeed.

èONSUMER èHARAèTERISTIèS:

It includes three things Cultural, Personal and Social, the ranking according to our group is as follow:

The most important thing is personal factors because a consumer makes buying decision according to his

personal need and want and the rest comes later.

On the second number we have the cultural factors as well as the social factors because they are equally

important these days. You cannot ignore either of them.

For example if a person wants to buy something he or she will first consider the personal need and then

they will think about the cultural and social factors or the most effective stimulus which would lead to

customer actually buying the product is the personal need of that particular product.
